“We always appreciate the extra care that is given to our older pup. We have used Alton and Valerie's care several times, and everything always goes smoothly. Thank you!”

“Brooke was very professional with her service in taking care of Taco. I got pictures and videos of Taco on a regular basis and was happy to see she was doing well. I feel Taco came back slimer and trimmer than being at home with all the activity Taco got with Brooke. I'm very pleased with the level of professionalism and service!”

“Jack clearly felt right at home. It’s reassuring to see pics of your pet having fun and Tiana takes care of him amazingly well. I’d use them again in a heartbeat.”
“This was my puppy’s first experience boarding overnight. She was very comfortable going with Mandy and got along well with her dogs. I will definitely use Mandy again for either boarding or sitting for a couple hours while we do errands.”

“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”

“Emily was really fantastic - great communication, she was awesome about keeping me updated and my dog seemed to have a blast making friends with her pups. Would happily recommend her!”

“Amanda was great with our sweet shih tzu! She was prompt with getting back to us and always kept us updated on our pup while we were away. She was even freshly bathed when we picked her up. I highly recommend Amanda!”

“Leslie was great! She took great care of our girl! She sent us updates and pictures and was great with communication and flexible on pick up and drop off timing.”

“Georgia was SO easy to communicate with! She sent photos and videos, was flexible with timing, and quick to respond. She has a great yard and play space and is so clearly a dog-lover and caretaker. Tillie had an amazing time with her and we will definitely be going back!”

“This is the second time Carley has watched my golden doodle and it was a great experience! I would recommend Carley if you are looking for a reliable sitter.”
“Such a warm and friendly host! She sent daily photos and details of the day. We felt so good knowing our dog was happy and loved while we were away. Will definitely ask her to watch our dog again. Highly recommend!”
“Shyann was phenomenal! She took such great care of of Yorkie and made her feel right at home. Went above and beyond by taking care of her needs and picking up what was needed! Would absolutely book with Shyann again!”

“Aimee took wonderful care for my pup. Especially being available almost last minute! I would highly recommend her and reach out again for any of my pups needs.”

“Milo had a great time and was taken care of exactly as his medical needs required. We appreciate the flexibility with his pickup and will certainly return if we need boarding again.”

“Cheyenne was amazing to work with and took such good care of our boy, Jedi! He was almost sad to leave I could tell. We will definitely use her again in the future!”

“Emily was amazing! I was very nervous to leave my cat for 10 days, but Emily eased my stress by sending me photo updates every day with little notes about him! She refilled the litter box and played with him and was very responsive whenever I reached out. Thank you for taking such good care of my sweet baby! Highly recommend Emily!”

About: I haven’t had much experience in raising cats, but I do love them and am very patient with feline friends. I keep my distance to the skittish ones while cooing and playing with the more social types, I’ve got no issues cleaning out cat litter, and I’ll be sure to follow all feeding directions diligently, no matter how specific it gets.

“Kara was an wonderful house sitter. She stayed at our home for 6 nights caring for our two cats. We came home to a house just as clean as we left it, all of our plants were watered throughtout her stay, and she sent the perfect amount of daily kitty updates. It's clear she genuinely cared for our home and fur babies. We would highly recommend Kara to anyone looking for a reliable, attentive, and trustworthy house sitter!”

“Natalee, thank you so much for taking such awesome care of my boys! Definitely book with Natalee, I highly recommend her. She is professional, punctual, and was so sweet with my cats. I could tell they were getting good love while I was gone because they didn’t even seem phased when I got back. Normally they are incredibly high maintenance after I leave them. Thanks again Natalee, it was such a relief to know my boys were in good hands while I was away!”

“Haley is absolutely amazing. Haley took care of my cat Doudou for over two weeks, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better nanny. While I was traveling and away from my baby, she sent me so many photos and videos, which meant everything to me. Seeing Doudou happy, relaxed, and loved gave me so much peace of mind. Haley pays incredible attention to details. She noticed small things like Doudou scratching her ears and helped clean them for me. She always made sure Doudou’s water level was well maintained, so even when Doudou was alone, she had plenty of fresh water. These little things truly show how much Haley cares. She went above and beyond in every way — bringing toys, giving treats, and making sure Doudou got lots of cuddles, pets, and playtime. Doudou clearly felt comfortable and loved, and that means the world to me. I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for the care Haley provided while I was away. Knowing my baby was in such good hands made all the difference. I would trust Haley with Doudou again without hesitation, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone kind, responsible, and genuinely caring. Thank you so much, Haley, for taking such wonderful care of my baby 🤍🐾”

“Mika is great with our cats! This is our third time having her watch them and she does a great job. She is awesome at communicating and updating you with how they are doing. We highly recommend her! She puts all our worries at ease.”

“Thank you Nicole. I am so surprised that Callie came out while you were there. Brandon and I will love to have you continue as our kitty-cat sitter. Hopefully at some point you will be able to snap a photo of Coco too.”

“The best review you can give as a pet owner happens when you come home to a happy and healthy pet. Our Zila is normally a little freaked out when someone besides us are there with her. Cathy has a magic touch! Zila was happy and comfortable when we got back from our trip. Cathy obviously gave Zila love and took great care of her while we were away. Thank you so much!”

“Leah didn’t excellent job taking care of our cats! She was very flexible, communicative, and gave us frequent updates. Our kitties were well taken care of and we would definitely hire her again!”

“Karen was seriously the perfect sitter. She's very reliable, conscientious, cat-approved. She sent us photos and notes with every visit. I really appreciated knowing our two kitties were in good hands. She handled their feeding peculiarities with ease, kept letter boxes clean, brought in packages/mail, and left it all in tip top shape. Highly recommended!”

“Our pup stayed overnight and had a great time! We received photos, videos and updates on our doggo throughout the day. When we dropped him off he was excited & upon picking him up he was playing. We will be back!”

“Excellent service. Heather is friendly and attentive to the puppies, she sent good update photos, she was able to accommodate one of my pups needing medication, and her property is a great and exciting landscape for walks. We would love to rebook with her in the future.”

“Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. I would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat if/when we visit Spokane again!”

“Irina was AMAZING!! It was our pups first time staying with someone other than family so Lilly a little nervous, but thanks to Irina our pup had a great time. Irina was accommodating and had incredible communication. I can’t recommend her enough!!”

“We are so glad we found Cheryl on Rover. As first-time Rover users, we were a little unsure of how the app worked let alone what the experience would be like for our golden doodle. Cheryl was great about responding in a timely manner to our texts, her own dogs had a ton of fun with our dog, and she sent us pictures of our pup’s adventures during the day. We will be going to her again if we are in the area.”

“We were nervous about leaving our dog, because she tends to be anxious around new people, and she was shy about playing with Sabrina's dog during the meet and greet, but everything went fine!”

About: I’m two years dogless and I truly miss the companionship and the joy that dogs bring to daily life. Joining Rover is my way of getting back into the "dog world"—offering your pets the same dedicated love, patience, and attention I gave my own for over a decade. What I Offer: • Senior Care Knowledge: Having cared for a dog through his final years, I am very comfortable with senior pups and slow walks. Don’t think I don’t love puppies too! • A "Dogs-First" Home: Since I don't currently have a pet, your dog will be the "only child" and get 100% of my attention. • Lifelong Intuition: I understand that every dog has a unique personality, from high-energy athletes to professional couch potatoes. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will rarely, if ever, be left alone. My home office is "dog-friendly," and I love having a furry coworker at my feet (or on the sofa!) throughout the day. What a day with me looks like: • Constant Supervision: Because I’m at my desk, I can offer frequent potty breaks and immediate attention whenever your pup needs it. • Structured Breaks: I use my lunch and mid-afternoon breaks for neighborhood walks, games of fetch, or just some quality backyard time. • Active "Face Time": I don't just sit in another room; I enjoy the companionship of dogs while I work. Whether your dog prefers to nap quietly nearby or needs occasional head scratches between my meetings, I’m here for it. • Flexible Needs: If your dog has a specific medication or feeding schedule that requires midday attention, my WFH setup makes that easy to accommodate. My home is a quiet, hazard-free sanctuary designed for stress-free stays. • Safety First: No other pets or children in the home—perfect for anxious or selective dogs. • Open Communication: Expect frequent "pupdates" and photos throughout the day. • Expert Handling: I am comfortable with senior care, medication, and following strict house rules.
“Jennifer and David are very accommodating and caring. Our dog Bodhi was a little anxious that night (not his normal self) and they gave him the attention he needed.”

About: I got my first dog Ginger (Golden Retriever) when I was very young maybe about four or five years old. When she had puppies, I helped my parents take care of them. After Ginger, I grew up around several other dogs including Labrador Retrievers, a Schnauzer, Boston Terrier, Chihuahua, Great Pyrenees. I have had six years experience caring for my partner's Shepsky who is high anxiety including separation anxiety and when my mom is out of town for an extended period of time I care for her dog which includes medication administration. I currently work part time and have a very flexible schedule and the summer off from school so I can adapt to your needs as a pet sitter! When caring for pets in a client's home, I first like to conduct a meet and greet to learn your pet's specific routine with tasks like feeding and potty breaks and medications and scheduled administration if any. I will stick to this to reduce anxiety and excel at providing consistent communication with photo updates as needed. I also believe in respecting a client's home and belongings and abide by the "leave a place better than you found it" rule.

About: I am Suzy I grew up on a farm in a small town. I just retired from being a private hospice caregiver. I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, pigs, goats and horses. I have had my own dogs and cats and started helping more with pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family. I have an alternative medicine degree and it has helped me not only in my personal life but also with my animals lives. I am good with dogs and cats that have high energy and separation anxiety. I am loving being retired and building my pet sitting business that revolves around cuddles with cats and dogs. I started doing this because I have 3 grand pups and 1 grand cat along with 1 human grand daughter and it has brought me peace and happiness. I was lost on what I wanted to do with this part of my life. I immensely enjoy pet sitting and meeting new pet owners and pets. I am not in a position to have pets at my home. However in your home I am there to help your animal not feel alone by giving them the attention they need or what you have requested.

About: We have dogs, snakes, and a bunny. We have kept exotic pets for the past 10 years and love caring for all animals! Even the grouchy ones 😊 Our dogs eat at 12:30 and at 6:30 each day with frequent trips outside. They are friendly and we keep them trained to eat only out of their own bowls. Pet care is daily life in our home (with my spouse) and we both take pride in our relationships with animals I will frequently check for assent amongst pets to ensure safety and wellbeing. If animals need to be separated, we live in our finished basement and work upstairs, making it easy to both separate and engage with all the animals frequently. Any instructions will be religiously followed. I am getting my masters in behavior analysis so I am ALWAYS aware of the dynamics of our animals and animal guests!
About: I have had dogs my entire life. The past 20 years, I have usually owned two dogs at a time. I enjoy taking my dogs running and hiking. I am looking for pet owners that need some help specifically during the summer months as I have summers off. I would love to come walk your dog while you are at work or possibly help with your summer vacations. I know how difficult it can be to worry about your pet when you are planning a trip. I have a fenced yard, space to crate your dog if needed, and two friendly dogs of my own. I am happy to run or walk your dog. I have three additional dog lovers in my home.
“Lauren is an excellent dog walker. She was always prompt. She evaluated Clancy's needs each time to determine walk or not (especially when very hot outside), or play instead and worked on commands and provided meal, treats and water. She always provided feedback on Clancy and activities included. We loved the pictures & video she provided with each visit. We'd definitely use Lauren again. Also note that Clancy is a puppy (7 months old & weighs 48+ lbs) with lots of energy and Lauren handled him expertly.”

About: Over the past year I have been job shadowing with a dog trainer, volunteering at animal santuaries and shelters, and studying dog behavior through books and observation to be able to provide the best care possible for your dog! I worked as a dog walk, and care giver for while in Bellingham but recently moved back home to beautiful Spokane. Taking care of dog has been the most fullfilling job I have ever had. Previously I was a holistic health counselor but being able to apply healthy behaviors to dogs has become my focus. Dog are such special animals and deserve to be treated with unlimited kindness, patience and love. The dog trainer I job shadowed would say, "it's not okay to hurt a dog, not even their feelings" and ever since it has been my motto.
About: I have always been a lover of animals, growing up around many dogs, cats, and farm animals of all shapes and sizes. I began caring for animals at a young age, and continue to center my life around my furry friends. Working with easily excited or skittish animals is my specialty as I have taken training through a Washington state rescue on dealing with animals with separation/new people anxiety. I hope to meet your best friend(s) soon! I work part time as an event bartender usually from about 4pm-10pm plus commuting time. I will do my best to adhere to your pet's schedule around this. I am experienced with pets of all sorts backgrounds and needs. I know how to interact with pets to make them comfortable and keep them happy and entertained. I

“Oscar spent a few days with Heather and was clearly well looked after, relaxed and happy. The communication was great and it's always nice to receive pictures and updates—I can only recommend Heather and would happily book with her again. Cheers!”

“Trixie has stayed with Lynda several times now, and she is always great with her. Trixie is a VERY high energy heeler mix dog, and Lynda helps keep her moving with lots of fetch when the other dogs tire out.”

“Our boy ate almost all of his food for the first time when at a new person's home. He came back so happy and she sent a couple of treats that she had given him over the weekend home with him. She sent pictures and updates of our baby boy over the weekend. We will definitely be using her again.”

“I was nervous about leaving Callie with someone new, but Monikas experience did not disappoint. She was absolutely amazing with Callie, her dogs were very nice and well behaved, and Monika gave me photo and video updates everyday!”

About: Hi! I’m Sabrina, I’ve had dogs and cats all my life. We’ve currently got a 3 year old 50 lb mix breed female dog named Maple who loves to meet dog friends and play. Also have 2 cats in the home who don’t mind dogs as long your dog(s) won’t go after them. I’m home most of the day and your dog(s) would be able to play with Maple, nap on our couches and chill with our family until you get back! I’m home most of the time, so your dog won’t be left alone. My daily routine includes exercising my dog in our backyard daily so your dog can join in fetch or fun sniffing or doggy chase, or whatever they want! We have a large fenced backyard, and a sweet female dog to keep yours company. I’m home most of the day, so your pup won’t be left alone.
“My little Harley loved it at Hanna’s! She took great care of him and sent several pictures of him everyday. I could see he was happy playing with the other dogs and love being outdoors. Thank you Hanna!”
