About: I have worked with both puppies and senior dogs, i have 2 poochon puppies that are 1 year old. I am currently going to school to be a vet technician and I volunteer at the animal shelter in the cat and dog rooms. I have experience handling all different types and sizes of dogs. Im a college student and currently working part-time in the late afternoons. So I have plenty of time to walk, play and give potty breaks! I have a fenced yard suitable for small to medium dogs. I have a large room that I can close off that has tile flooring and access to the backyard and also have pens if dogs need to be separated.
About: I grew up loving and caring for animals. I had dogs, cats, and even parrots growing up. I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and have experience pet sitting for various friends and family. I used to volunteer with the Humane Society where I walked dogs and helped work play groups which helped the dogs gain social skills and helped them to get adopted. I currently volunteer with a statewide animal rescue organization doing technical animal rescues which include rescuing dogs, cats, birds, horses, and, on occasion, certain exotic animals. About: I have grown up with mastiffs and currently own two cane Corso now I have obedience and protection, train them all by myself. We love to go for runs. I have experience in giving medication‘s our youngest Corso (Bronx) was a rescue and had a rotting ear. We had to apply and give him medication 3x a day. “Fellow Rover Parents, when in need call Amanda! A last minute drop out by a dog care person put me in a bind. Amanda stepped up and took on Chidi and Ellie for an extended weekend visit. The puppies returned home well fed and cared for, along with some needed and appreciated dog training! Good home environment for my puppies was much appreciated, along with walks and run around time. “Our worried whippets had a wonderful first stay with Margaret! Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”

“We’ve never boarded our two little dogs before and we were terribly worried about trusting them with someone or that they would be okay. Oh man, we had nothing to worry about. I think they want to go back! Darby made us feel assured with pictures and reports of our babies not missing us one bit. They had an adventure and were more entertained at her place than at home. They lounged on her couch and slept with her (just like at home). They watched chickens and horses (more interesting than our house). I felt 110% assured they were safe and well cared for. It was wonderful to have no worries. Plus…she picked them up and delivered them back to us. Perfect experience. ❤️”
