I was able to do a meet and greet prior where my dog, Trowa, was able to meet the other sweet pups staying at Jerrie’s. Trowa instantly hit it off with the others and had lots of room to play and explore outside. Jerrie sent updates twice a day with tons of photos of all of the fun they were having which made us feel much more comfortable having Trowa stay somewhere else while we were gone. Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”

I have experience caring for sick pets and administering medication both orally and subcutaneously. I've had my pups since they were young and would consider them very well trained. If you're looking to work on certain behaviors, I can absolutely work on that during their stay. I have a fenced yard, a safe neighborhood for long walks, and for longer stays, expect your dog to enjoy a nice hike! I mostly work from home, so for daycare your dog(s) would never be alone and would have access to my fully fenced backyard whenever they want. During the week, I can do a long walk during my lunch break, and another after work. Weekends I tend to go hiking, so if your pup enjoys nature, they will for sure have a great time. Due to my variable work schedule, I cannot accommodate recurring appointments. My yard is fully fenced, and I have 2 friendly dogs. Safety is paramount, so dogs would be supervised while in the yard together. If your dog requires a crate, I have both a plastic and soft sided kennel for indoors.

“Our worried whippets had a wonderful first stay with Margaret! Our girls usually don't eat much/if at all when staying with a dog sitter because they get separation anxiety being away from their family but they ate with Margaret which told me everything. Our girls were happy, safe, and comfortable. Margaret's other dog Mochi was a sweet heart too who was patient with our nervous pups. One of our dogs is scared of any dog bigger than her but Mochi gave her space and was gentle during our meet and greet. The pictures I received showed me how relaxed the pups were, which is exactly what they needed. We have definitely found a go-to dog sitter :).”
