“People say they love animals, but not everyone truly does! I believe Kimberly truly loves animals. I feel she treated my puppies like they were hers. I am fairly new to leaving my girls with a sitter, Kimberly put my mind at ease. She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”

“Angela and her family are such a dog-loving and caring bunch! Echo is so lucky to be with them. Our sincere thanks to Angela, who took pictures and videos of their interaction with Echo! Elaine, Andy and Echo”

“Jerrie was wonderful! She luckily had last minute availability for my pup and was very responsive. She sent pictures every day and it looked like Sage was having a blast!”

My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for walking. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!
“David was great with my emotionally needy pup and clearly understood dog dynamics. Seeing Delta and another dog snuggle up together was not something I had expected to see pictures of, but she seemed to do well when left with a stranger for a week.”

“Annmarie did a fantastic job taking care of our 3 month old fur baby!. Her communication while watching our fur baby was great and we appreciated receiving pictures of her playing and getting all the cuddles. We will absolutly book Annmarie for any future dog sitter needs and highly recomend her!!.”

“Highly recommend. They have a beautiful home with a nice, spacious backyard. Marianne and Josh are kind and have a lot of experience with dogs. With two sweet dogs of their own, my dog had built in companions while I was away. They are warm, welcoming, and sent lots of cute/funny pics & updates. Your dogs will be loved open arms. So grateful my dog could spend the holiday with such a thoughtful, warm, and fun family! Thank you so much for loving Chai!”
“Alexis does a fantastic job of taking care of our Abbey. Walks, treats and fun! We can have a wonderful trip without having to worry about our sweet girl while she is with Alexis.”

“Leanne was great with our dog! We received lots of pictures and updates on how things were going. Our dog had slight separation anxiety but Leanne took him on a walk to help calm him. Leanne is a great host, super responsive, and we’d love to have our pup stay with her again!”

“Pamela was a joy to work with. Between allowing Buster to meet his new friends and allowing us to check out where he was staying, we knew that he would be well taken care of. Pamela sent regular updated with photos of Buster allowing us to relax while we were on vacation. She was very responsive and attentive. We would definitely recommend her to others and would gladly book again.”

“Our two pups just completed their first stay with Deidre and we couldn’t be happier on the care they received and the communication she had with us. We hope that she will have the availability to care from them in the near future but anticipate that she will grow in popularity due to her 1st class service!”

“Kevin’s dog camp was a great experience for our Nico and for us! Kevin really took the time to establish a rapport with Nico and welcomed him into his home like one of his own. I had no worries over 5 days about Nico having a safe and fun place to stay. Great communication before and throughout the stay with lots of updates including pictures and videos! I think Nico is already looking forward to his next time at camp.”

“Norman absolutely loved Kaela and her family! She is super accommodating, she accepted us last minute and allowed me to adjust my drop off time. I got lots of updates and pics the whole time and he slept all the way to the campsite so I know he had a great time with the kids! If your dog is good with kids I can’t recommend this family enough and will definitely be reaching out next time I’m in town!”

“Jordyn was awesome with our little fur baby girl. Jordyn followed instructions that we had, and gave us daily text updates on her progress. We missed our fur baby while we were gone, but weren't worried because we knew she was in good hands. We will use Jordyn's services next time, whenever necessary. Thanks Jordyn!”

I am very flexible with my schedule, and can provide any times you need! I am fine with mornings, evenings, or even late at night! I can easily create comfort for a dog or cat as I am very loving. I am a responsible person. I have no criminal record or have gotten into trouble.
“My husband and I had planned and booked a 2 week bucket list trip to Peru and were set to leave in 7 weeks. We had arranged our normal pet sitter that we’ve used for years to come and take care of our (almost) 15 year old cat, Mr. Christmas. It was around that time that Mr. Christmas stopped eating. Mr. Christmas had no real health conditions, no meds…and he was declining fast. After extensive testing, imaging, and seeing a specialist, he was diagnosed with either IBD or cancer and was going to need a lot of follow up. He was on multiple oral medications and he still wasn’t eating great. I couldn’t leave him in the house with someone who can only come see him once a day. He needed more support and our normal pet sitter couldn’t provide that for him. I was fully prepared to cancel the trip, but thought I’d go on Rover to see if anyone could match what we were looking for and if anyone would be willing to do what we were asking. We needed three, hour-long visits daily, forcing food at him, weighing him, and administering multiple daily medications. I found Melanie explaining what I was looking for, and I was really impressed that she was up early at 4:30am to message me. Melanie communicated with me each week leading up to our trip. We initially didn’t have a diagnosis and I needed vet clearance to leave him. Melanie asked many questions, and when we finally were told that he was stable enough to leave, she came over to our house with a list of questions to go over with us. He’s got a bit…a lot…of an attitude. She made sure that she didn’t approach him and waited for him to come to her. She was so thoughtful about every detail of their interaction in front of us. My husband and I both felt that even though she is a stranger to us, there was something calming about her and she was very professional. We knew Mr. Christmas would be okay, but I wasn’t expecting him to thrive the way that he did. Melanie never missed a visit. She never asked for anything from me. She communicated with me daily throughout the two weeks. She braved picking him up to put him on the scale multiple times. Mr. Christmas gained weight with Melanie. He wasn’t gaining weight with me at home, but she is just that good. Pictures of Mr. Christmas started with him sleeping alone, and then he got closer and closer to her on the couch. He even started inviting her to watch him in the litter box (I’m mortified), but he only does this with “his people”. Our dog came to visit at home a few days to see Mr. Christmas (they are besties), and Melanie had no problem cuddling our dog while visiting Mr. Christmas. To describe Melanie in one or two words, I would say she is easygoing and pays great attention to detail. She makes everything seem easy and carefree, and my anxiety really appreciated that on this trip. I got home from 15 days away from him, and he is this thick ball of fluffy happiness. He was WELL taken care of. We could have never gone on this trip without Melanie. She is a true gem and I will be referring anyone and everyone I know to her. Love, Ben, Jen, Mr. Christmas, and “his dog” Ruby.”

About: Some of my earliest memories were fur baby family members. I lived in households with black and brown lab's, Shar Pei's, Yorkie's, Chihuahua, and multiple cats. At 5 years old I wanted a cat so bad that I hid one in the car. My mom noticed the cat on the drive home. After discussing it with the original owner it was discovered that he did need a new home and that is how Smokie joined the household. At 8 years old, I got permission for my second cat Speckles. I was allowed to help bottle feed him before he was able to come home with me. He lived to the age of 19. My schedule is very open and flexible, I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies. Wednesday mornings I go visit my grandma, I am free during the afternoon after visiting her. I will be caring for your pets in your home. I'm available for drop in care, check-in's, pet sitting, house sitting, and overnight care. I do have mobility limitations, I walk with the assistance of a cane and therefore am unable to offer pet walking services at this time. I have a service animal, my small dog Leroy. He gets along very well with cats and dogs of all sizes.
“We had another weekend of great drop in visits! This is my third time working with Vita and I can always rest assured that my bunnies are in good hands while I’m out of town! It’s great receiving the cute photos and videos from her. I’m much better able to enjoy my trips when she is there to help us! Thanks again! ❤️from Bella and Pom Pom 🐰🐰”

“We had a really great experience! Jett & Denver were well taken care of, and it was obvious they were happy. We got tons of updates and pictures, which we really appreciated. They were also super accommodating to our pets’ needs, which made everything so much easier. Will definitely book again!”

“Caitlin has been amazing with Nai’a! Though Nai’a is an anxious pup, she liked Caitlin instantly when we met the first time. Since then Nai’a has stayed over at Caitlin’s a few times and once Caitlin watched her at our house. One of the biggest challenges with Nai’a is that she runs away from her sitters. But, with Caitlin it’s finally been working out well and I feel so relieved to have found a regular sitter! Caitlin sends photos regularly and Nai’a seems to have fun at her house with her pups. Also, she is really sweet and flexible. Thanks so much for everything Caitlin!”

“Outstanding and fun care. Great communication and I picked up a happy, tired pup. Excellent fenced yard and shade for 'galloping' and rest. Sitter's dog and mine were compatible. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Highly recommended.”

“Bobbie is compassionate, caring, attentive and kind - a true dog lover. My pup Scooter loves spending time w her and she spoils him w trips to the dog park, etc. Highly recommend!!”

“Thank you all for being so welcoming to Sasha knowing she has separation anxiety and she’s only 13 weeks old. This was super new for my sweet Sasha and me, she seemed to do well once she warmed up to the new place animals and people, thank you for keeping me updated throughout the day, I appreciate all of the updates and photos, I’m so glad she had some small friends to play with while she was there, was very nice to meet you all.”

“Desiree was so flexible and accepted my fur babies at last minute. During the time I was gone I could tell they received lots of attention with all the pictures I received. I felt completely comfortable and will definitely book again in the future.”

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have a genuine love for being near animals and taking care of them because they brighten my day. I am currently in college I want to try to make pet sitting a part time job so I can save up for my future. The apartment comples I live in has a dog park where a lot of dogs go and have fun, if there is any type of schedule by the owner/owners I would follow it. I usually try to relax on my free time, reading books and enjoying art, my hobbies give me time to take care of and play with the animals that I care for. The doors are locked unless I or someone with a key unlocks them, i make sure that the dogs have a leash on before I open the door and that there are no cats near the door to run out.
“Scott was awesome! Very quick to respond and work with us on delays due to weather. Our pups had a great time and tuckered out when we picked them up. Scott also let us know how things were going throughout out the day with pictures. It makes our trip more enjoyable when we know our pups are in good hands while we are out exploring. Our thanks to Scott, and we will look forward to using him again in the future.”

“Jennifer was awesome! Our dog was so excited just pulling in her neighborhood every time she was staying with Jennifer. Her picture update was so adorable and wonderful to see throughout our days without our wonderful Emme. Jennifer’s house and yard are set up perfectly for comfort and interaction all day long! We are coming back into town later in July but you will be on a much-deserved vacation. Thank you so much!”

About: I want to care for and spoil your dogs just as you would if you could be home. I have been working with pups going on 8 years. I began by walking dogs at a local humane society, then on to becoming a Certified Professional Dog Trainer. I absolutely love dog sitting and I have the skills to administer medications. While sitting for your pup I can take them for walks, go to a dog park, and go for hikes. I will send you pictures of your pup daily and keep you updated. I also don’t mind you checking in as often as you need to feel comfortable. I know it’s hard to be away from your your four legged friends. I hope to become one of your dogs best friends! “Alison was recommended by a friend and I used her for the first time this week. My dog doesn’t get out much and definitely loves people more than other dogs. . . And based on the picture Alison sent of my dog sleeping on her, I’d have to say that Wazel loved Alison too! We’ve already signed up to use her again.”

“Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

“Madisyn has been taking care of our dog Leo for several months. As witnessed from the photos she sends, he LOVES her! I come home to a contented and happy pet! Madisyn is also very respectful of our house and leaves it as she found it. We will continue entrusting Leo's care with her for months to come!”

I know every pet is different, so I pay attention to their personality and comfort level, whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed. I will also make sure to keep the home clean and secure while you’re away. I’ll give updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is always to treat your home and your pet with the same respect and love I would want for my own.

“Veronica has been amazing!! She was available very last minute (the day before) when I needed someone to walk my newly adopted dog. She’s been an amazing communicator, willing to do the little things like wipe my dogs paws after a walk or use the same command words that I use for my dogs. The photos of her walks are an extra touch that warms my heart. Would definitely recommend Veronica for your animal needs.”

About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I have also done fostering in my local community. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails for walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade and I do have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!
“David was great with my emotionally needy pup and clearly understood dog dynamics. Seeing Delta and another dog snuggle up together was not something I had expected to see pictures of, but she seemed to do well when left with a stranger for a week.”

“Leanne was great with our dog! We received lots of pictures and updates on how things were going. Our dog had slight separation anxiety but Leanne took him on a walk to help calm him. Leanne is a great host, super responsive, and we’d love to have our pup stay with her again!”

“Potato loved being there and was even a bit down coming back. She bonded so well with Amanda’s daughter too. Amanda was great, kept me updated, and I didn’t have to worry one bit while she stayed there.”

“Olivia and Tyler are the real deal! I asked them to watch my problem child for a weekend while I was in a wedding. They were happy to do so and took the best care for my fur baby. They sent pictures and updates regularly and responded immediately to any messages I sent. Lady had a great time with them and I can’t recommend Olivia and Tyler enough, thank you!”

“Erica was amazing and came through for a very minute request for a weeklong stay for my dog Luna. She was incredibly caring and responsive and Luna had an amazing time! Would use again in a heartbeat.”
