My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

“We arranged for twice a day, one-hour visits. Rachael was amazing! We have 2 big purebred Maine Coon brothers and a a tiny female domestic shorthair from the shelter. She was terrific, and even had to give the female a pill every morning. When we got home the house was still tidy, the kitty boxes were clean, and all 3 of our fur babies were relaxed and happy like they had just spent time with a beloved human relative. About: I have 2 Yorkshire Terriers, Dash who is 10 and Chevy who is 6 months. Dash has diabetes and requires insulin as well as oral medication and I am comfortable giving both. I also frequently take care of a friend’s senior Goldendoodle. I’ve house sat for up to a month at a time before which I am okay doing. I have more experience with dogs but I’d love to take care of your cats as well! I am currently finishing my last few pre-requisites for nursing school and most of my classes are online so I’m at home/available often. I do take care of my puppy when I’m home but I live with my family who takes care of him as well. I’d love to fit your pets into my schedule! If your pet comes to my home I do have a fully fenced front and back lawn. As well as a great neighborhood for going on walks. My house isn’t huge but I do keep my space clean and always make sure the pets aren’t able to get into anything.

When I’m there, I stick closely to the pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime, and I make sure to spend real one-on-one time with them, not just handle the basics. I have 2 children, a 10 year old boy, named Orion, and my daughter Kaylee, who would have been 22 years old, unfortunately she passed away from a car accident in 2020. I grew up in a little country town in CA. And was raised with animals. My grandpa was a big animal lover, and we had everything from a baby bear cub to kittens. I was in FFA for 4 years and raised a pig all 4 years to sell at the fair. Shawn is from the Arlington area and was also raised with animals. He has raised everything from goats to kittens. We feel that your pets aren't just pets, but more like a child, and we know the importance of finding the right care for your Fur-Babies. A majority of the pets we have cared for have been rescue pets. The the transition for them is hard enough as it is being left at a stranger's house, and we don't want to make that transition any more difficult for them. We ask that you bring an item with them, something that they associate with you and home. Also we ask for these items as well: food, food bowl, and water bowl, bed or bedding, toys they may want to play with, treats, and of course a daily interaction log ( we want to keep them on the same routine that they are use to, or as close to it as we can) I also try and send pictures daily, but in the off chance I miss a day, I send extra shots the next day. If we sound like a good fit for you, we are always happy to set up a meet and greet at our place for introductions. (We have also taken in fur-kids without meet and greets.) “Sheri is a great sitter! She watched our energetic young Lab while we were on our honeymoon. She sent us photos of our dog every day, which we loved. She kept our pup busy, walking her often and playing fetch in the backyard. We arranged a meet-and-greet with her beforehand, so our dog could meet her dog, and that helped put our minds at ease. “My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

Linda took the time and shared with me her schedule for Berkeley's medication. She also recommended an approach on how to administer Berkeley's medication on her paw. “Katie was a life saver after our kennel declined to take our dog who had stitches in his mouth. Because of this we were able to keep our vacation plans. Katie was also accommodating to the special needs of our dog (no playing or toys in the mouth due to stitches). About: I’ve worked in the animal care industry for 10 years now and I’ve grown up with dogs ! They are absolutely a passion of mine! I am also the owner and operator of Oh Shih Tzu mobile grooming! I currently work part time as I am a mom to a 4 year old daughter , so I am home a lot with my own pups! I love taking them to parks and trails and playdates with other dog friends ! I always treat any animal like they are my own! I love getting to know pups and their personalities as every pup is special in their own way !
