About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, including livestock! I come from a vet med background as well as having working in a companion animal shelter the last 9 years. I can give subq fluids, injections, oral medications, topical medications, nail trims if the pet allows, etc. I’m experienced with special diets and restrictions too. About: I grew up with a Pomeranian and cared for him through his senior years, so I know the extra patience and gentleness older pets need. I also raised my brother’s kitten to adulthood and have dog sat for relatives and cat sat for friends and coworkers, from playful puppies to shy kitties. As a student, my schedule gives me a good amount of flexibility during the week, so pet care fits in naturally rather than being squeezed in around a rigid 9-to-5. I can build feeding, walks, and playtime into my day without rushing, and I have the free time to give each pet real attention, not just a quick check-in. That flexibility also means I can adjust to a pet’s routine instead of asking them to adjust to mine. I only provide care in the client’s home, since I think pets do best staying in their own familiar environment, surrounded by their usual smells, sounds, and routine instead of the stress of a new space. When I’m there, I stick closely to the pet’s normal schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime, and I make sure to spend real one-on-one time with them, not just handle the basics. I also keep an eye on anything that seems off whether it’s their appetite, energy, or behavior so I can flag it to the owner right away.

About: Hi my name is Tiffanny and I love to spend my time with children and animals. I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including in a farm setting for over 10 years. I personally have kept goats, chickens, pigs, guinea fowl, peafowl, ducks, livestock guardian dogs, turkeys, guinea pigs, rabbits, equine, cats indoor and outdoor and more! About: I have worked at veterinarians, pet stores, and animal shelters, with pets of all kinds. I love walkng, cuddling and hanging out with all dogs. I’m a stay at home mom on a farm. I love spending time with my animals and also have a Sniffspot so other dogs can enjoy our space. When your dog first gets here they can smell around all the new smells and then decide if they want to interact with the other animals or not. I supervise any interactions to keep everyone safe. “Excellent sitter for my Hotrod (pit bull). He LOVES Kayla and her Great Danes! He starts crying a block away on the way to her house. He is usually leashed, but runs right to her door upon arrival, so no need for it. She will be Hotrods second home. He was treated like we treat him. (Maybe even better...hee hee) She sends tons of pictures so we know he is safe and happy and boy was he!!! We don't leave him anywhere, so we were kinda nervous. I did lots of interviewing and found Kayla. We started having Hotrod spend a couple nights with her and a couple of playdates so when the time came for his 4 days stay he was used to it. I don't think he even missed us. He is sound asleep right now. We just love Kayla! Thank you Kayla!!!! (and Iris and Helios). You will see us a lot!!! Be ready. HAHA”
