PLEASE MESSAGE ME BEFORE BOOKING! 😊🐶🐱 • Feeding: I always want to make sure your kitty is provided with the right type and amount of food at their scheduled times. And of course always making sure they have clean fresh water. • Litter Box: I make sure your cat has a fresh and hygienic litter box. Just let me know what your cleaning schedule is like. • Safety: My biggest priority is always making sure your pet is safe. Making sure your indoor babies stay indoors and no escaping. Please let me know ahead of time if you have an escape artist and I will be extra careful and aware. • Attention: I love spending time with your fur babies. I will play with them to their heart’s content or even just giving cuddles and scratches. I want to comfort your cat and keep them happy and stress free. • Medication: If your cat requires medication, I will make sure to give your cat the correct medicine and dosage. Please talk over routine with me like when to give meds. • Respecting Routine: I make sure to follow the owners instructions regarding feeding, playtime, and sleeping areas.

Alister obviously had lots of love and attention showered on him and I feel quite confident that if anything had gone wrong he would have received any care he needed. He's actually showing me when in the day he got love and snuggles, when he had playtime, and he's trying to tell me he had treats any time he asked - but I don't believe that. About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. Over the years I have dealt with medications, blind dogs, cancer, three legged dogs, and wheelchair dogs like Gracie. My current dog, MoMo is sweet as pie, but quite lonely, and wants a few new companions. I live in Shoreline, and access two different dog parks for exercise and social activity. I drive a new pick-up truck so your dog will ride in comfort. I have both Venmo and PayPal, to make payments electronic and easy for everyone. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”

“I met with Kim the day before boarding my dog with her to give my fearful dog a chance to sniff around her property, to see her dog and sniff her when she wasn't looking :-). My dog, a WSS who is fearful of people, settled in fairly quickly because Kim did exactly as I asked her to do - she ignored my dog, didn't make eye contact with her and let my dog come to her when she was ready. Apparently this approach worked because my fearful dog was at ease and comfortable with Kim when I picked her up after only spending 1 night with her. Kim has her own dog which helped my dog feel more comfortable. Kim sent updates and few photos which put me at ease while my dog was in her care. If you board your dog at Kim's, make sure your dog is up to date on their tick treatments as the outdoor area where the dogs roam and go potty outdoors is a wild woodland type area (not mowed) with tall grass, brush and shrubs where ticks are known to thrive.”
