About: I took care of cats while I was in high school and truly adored my time doing so, I took care of cleaning the litter, ensuring the cats had a clean space, taking care of their needs, feeding them as per their diet at the proper times, and giving them attention when they wanted it (even when I’m woken up in middle of the night with a kitty coming into my bed how can I resist playing, petting, or cuddling? They’re so cute!). I take into consideration the personalities that each individual cat may have. Giving them space to get comfortable in the new environment or to get comfortable with me if they’re shy, cuddling if approached, letting them hang out under my bed for comfort or sleep on my bed. I think that taking care of cats (or any animal really) goes beyond their day to day necessitates of food and hygiene, they also need to feel comfortable with the person taking care of them so I will try my best to make them feel safe and comfortable around me.

About: We have owned pets for 20+ years including cats, dogs, a rabbit, fish, chickens and more, and have taken care of a variety of pets for friends, family and neighbors along the way. We have also volunteered for the local Petsmart taking care of kittens and adult cats in the catio. We love our pets and will adore yours as well! We can provide care such as, but not limited to, feeding, watering, medications, cuddling, playing, walking and plenty of love. Laurilee works part-time a couple of days per week as a RN. Travis works full-time from home generally with a flexible schedule as a consulting Forester. We have availability for drop-ins or walks generally between 12:30-2:30 a few days per week and occasional weekends, however this varies and will need to remain somewhat flexible, as we also care for our elderly grandmother. We can not offer baording or overnight stays at owners homes at this time. We are not available for evenings currently, as we have our childrens' activities. We are responsible and will honor the safety requests that you have for your pet(s) in your home and/or on walks. We will maintain a friendly and fun environment while keeping safety the #1 priority. Rover completed background checks on both Travis and Laurilee. In the case of an emergency we would contact you, your emergency veterinarian if shared with us, and Rover immediately. We both have the American Red Cross Pet First Aid app downloaded on our smart phones for quick access for urgent care recommendations if ever needed, along with quick access to the Rover Guarantee webpage and emergency number. Available most weekdays, M-F 12:30pm-2:30pm. Not available evenings or weekends. Boarding and overnight care is not offered at this time. Check-ins and walks may be done by Laurilee, Travis or both depending on the day. If approved, our teenage daughters may join us when available for extra pets and playmates. At this time we are unable to offer pet care service in our home. We have many of our own pets who do not appreciate having other animals in the house.

About: Hi! I'm Frankie! My wife, Stacy, and I have been dog-sitting at our house for the last 4 years. Our miniature dachshund, Maverick, is the head of our house and is looking to make new friends. Maverick is well-trained, friendly and is currently learning to hunt truffles! He loves meeting new friends and would be thrilled to have a new playdate. Our home is single-story with a fully fenced backyard, plenty of grass to run around, and enough squirrels to keep Maverick busy throughout the day. We're around throughout the week, so your dog will be supervised and receive plenty of attention. Expect regular backyard time, walks around the neighborhood and cuddles. There is a ramp for couch access (Maverick mostly uses it). Small/medium dogs are welcome on the couch. We also have plenty of dog beds, blankets, toys and a gate to provide separation during mealtimes, if needed. We treat all dogs as family and aim to provide a chill, safe environment for them to play and relax while you're away. We have experience with dogs large and small, blind dogs and dogs with special care needs. We look forward to meeting and hosting your pup! - Frankie, Stacy & Mav 🐾 We're home almost all the time. I'm available throughout the week and my wife works remotely, so your dog will always have someone around. If we ever do need to step out for errands, we're never gone for more than an hour or two. We use a gate (if needed) to keep your dog safe while we're out. We have a fenced yard and a mini dachshund, Maverick, to keep your dog company. Plenty of grass outside, dog ramp for the couch, gates to separate (if needed) and multiple dog beds.

About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. I am based in Vancouver and I currently work a part time retail job in Portland. My retail job's schedule is not consistent and I may need to be at work for 6 to 8 hours on a particular day, sometimes during an afternoon or evening feeding time. Luckily, my schedule gets posted three weeks out. So, I'll know which days I will be totally free to hang out with pets. I'll make sure to communicate with you on which days I will be gone for a long stretch and make sure it fits within your pets schedule. I am flexible for how will care for your pet in your home. If your pet requires a lot of attention and play time, then I am more than willing to take them to the backyard or nearest park to let them play to their hearts content. Or, if your pet is shy or getting older, I can certainly give them their space.

About: Lifelong animal lover of all shapes and sizes. I have the most experience caring for cats and dogs but have previously cared for and am comfortable with fish, birds, reptiles and small mammals. I regularly pet sit for friends and family and dedicate most of my time caring for my own pets. In my spare time, I volunteer at a local cat shelter. About: I’ve had pets my whole life, I grew up with a black lab named Baxter who’s since passed, as well as 3 cats over the years. One cat was fully in my care for about 2 years before she passed. I currently have 2 cats that are about 12 years old now. I have also petsat for a family friend in the past who had a medium sized, high energy dog. I currently work full time on a rotating schedule. While I might have to find workarounds, I will be dedicated to providing your pet high standard care in every way possible. I am great at following instructions, and love very detailed points. About: I have owned dogs and cats since for almost 15 years. I also grew up with cats and dogs in our family home. My family currently has a 2 year old Golden Retriever named Lily and 2 cats named Dobby and Luna (can you tell we’re Harry Potter fans? 😉). Before our Golden Retriever, we had a Staffordshire Terrier mix named Maggie. We had her for 8 years - she died unexpectedly in August 2021. While we had Maggie we also had 2 cats named Oscar and Felix. My husband and I moved in together in July 2009 and since then we have never not owned at least 1 animal at any given time. We are obviously an animal-loving family! I have always loved dogs and their unconditional love and companionship. They’ll never judge or ridicule, just love you. In addition to our dog and 2 cats we have 2 human children - our son Jaxson is 8 and our daughter Addie is 5. My husband is a plumber and I have been a stay at home mom for 5+ years now. My son will be in 3rd grade in the Fall and my daughter is starting kindergarten. Thus, I will have more free time during the day now to help with your beautiful and lovable pets! I’m currently a full-time stay at home parent but my youngest child will be starting kindergarten in September, so I will have lots more time to play with your pups and take them for walks, or even provide doggy daycare at my home. I can also provide drop-in visits for cats. I can also provide house-sitting but only primarily on the weekends. I will primarily be available Monday-Friday from 8:30am-2:30pm but I could also do evenings and weekends depending on my kids’ activities schedules. For doggy daycare services, have a fully fenced yard and a very friendly and non-aggressive Golden Retriever who loves playing with other dogs. We also have a large soft crate if your dog needs to be crated if I need to leave the house for awhile. For dog-walking, drop-ins, and house-sitting I will treat your home with the utmost respect and follow any and all rules and procedures of your home. I want you to feel secure and comfortable at all times with me being in your home and taking care of your beloved pets.
About: Since I was 17 years old I have loved taking care of pets. I have a majority of experience in dog sitting but I have cat sat for family friends over the last couple of years. Whether it has been family, friends, or even roommates, I have dog-sat for long and short periods for a wide variety of dogs and dog personalities. Thank you for considering me, and I look forward to hearing from you! Schedule - I work full-time as a florist! I can provide drop-in visits and dog walks before and after work. Generally, I'm available 9am-11am and 6-9pm, depending on the day. I'm off on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and I volunteer 5-7pm on Thursdays. Let me know your ideal care schedule and we can work out something that is best for both of us! I will make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away. I will stick to their routine, give them plenty of love and attention, or just hang out and keep them company. My goal is to make things feel as normal and cozy for them as possible!
About: Hi! I’m Emma :) I’m experienced in taking care of a wide variety of pets from a highly reactive Akita to newborn kittens. I also have limited experience with lizards and I’m always ready to learn how to take care of new pets with special needs! My favorite days are when I get to go on hikes, but if your pet lives a less active lifestyle I also enjoy a rest day on the couch. I work in the medical field with a consistent schedule, so my availability stays consistent. I try to match my daily routine on my days off, so your pets’ routine will be very consistent throughout my caring for them. When I care for dogs, I like to spend lots of time playing outside, going on walks or hikes. However, the way I care for your pet will be heavily guided by their individual needs and your usual routine. Being away from their owner can be stressful for your pet, so I strive to keep their daily routine as consistent as possible to make the experience better for them.
