About: We have owned pets for 20+ years including cats, dogs, a rabbit, fish, chickens and more, and have taken care of a variety of pets for friends, family and neighbors along the way. We have also volunteered for the local Petsmart taking care of kittens and adult cats in the catio. We love our pets and will adore yours as well! We can provide care such as, but not limited to, feeding, watering, medications, cuddling, playing, walking and plenty of love. Laurilee works part-time a couple of days per week as a RN. Travis works full-time from home generally with a flexible schedule as a consulting Forester. We have availability for drop-ins or walks generally between 12:30-2:30 a few days per week and occasional weekends, however this varies and will need to remain somewhat flexible, as we also care for our elderly grandmother. We can not offer baording or overnight stays at owners homes at this time. We are not available for evenings currently, as we have our childrens' activities. We are responsible and will honor the safety requests that you have for your pet(s) in your home and/or on walks. We will maintain a friendly and fun environment while keeping safety the #1 priority. Rover completed background checks on both Travis and Laurilee. In the case of an emergency we would contact you, your emergency veterinarian if shared with us, and Rover immediately. We both have the American Red Cross Pet First Aid app downloaded on our smart phones for quick access for urgent care recommendations if ever needed, along with quick access to the Rover Guarantee webpage and emergency number. Available most weekdays, M-F 12:30pm-2:30pm. Not available evenings or weekends. Boarding and overnight care is not offered at this time. Check-ins and walks may be done by Laurilee, Travis or both depending on the day. If approved, our teenage daughters may join us when available for extra pets and playmates. At this time we are unable to offer pet care service in our home. We have many of our own pets who do not appreciate having other animals in the house.

“Shell is Amazing! She stayed with our very anxious 1 year old golden retriever for a couple of days. Our vet had strongly advised us to not leave her at a boarding kennel because she is terrified of other dogs. Shell did an excellent job from start to finish. She visited us at our home to meet us and Cedar in advance in order to understand our pup's personality and needs. Shell also brought her own well-regulated dog along with her for part of the time that she house-sat, to help our dog start learning that dogs can be safe and fun to be around. Shell used creative techniques to help Cedar eat (she cooked eggs and provided bone broth) because Cedar does not eat much when she is anxious. She provided opportunities prior to the house sitting job for Cedar to interact with her and her own dog to help reduce Cedar’s stress while we were gone. Shell reinforced the training techniques we are working on. She took pictures of Cedar interacting with her dog and sent them to us. She even coordinated with our adult daughter so that Cedar could visit with a trusted family member for some of the time. Cedar was happy to see us when we got home, but we could tell she had a good time and had made a doggy friend that she feels confident and safe around! I feel lucky to have someone like Shell to leave my very anxious dog with. She is passionate about dogs and their welfare and is skilled at taking care of their needs. It gave me peace of mind when I was gone to know my dog was safe, well cared for and her needs were being met in the best possible way.”

About: My husband and I are life-long dog owners and dog lovers. We have an active lifestyle and can give your dog lots of attention and activity. I work part time from home and my husband works from home, so at least one of us is always here for potty breaks and mid-day walks and playtime. There is a doggie door for small dogs. Water available inside and outside. Crating available if needed.

About: I grew up in a family that owned dogs all of my life. I also pet sat (both cats and dogs) for many family friends over the years, even helping look over a dog team once when I lived in Alaska. Furthermore, I am capable of going on long walks or short ones, playing fetch or tug of war for extended periods, or just chillin' at home providing all the belly rubs and scratches as possible. About: I’ve had two cats for a few years now, and I’ve been cat sitting and dog sitting for friends for a couple of years. I absolutely love dogs and cats and I love spending time with them. I’ve had some experience with older cats. I also have a lot of experience with cats who try to escape. I’ll make sure your indoor kitties stay inside and are well cared for. While I no longer get to see them since I moved, I still love and adore animals. I've had the pleasure of petsitting for friends, 2 larger dogs, and 2 cats l. All of whom are adorable... I currently work part time, so I have plenty of free time! While I'm not available constantly, I do my best to orient my schedule based on the animal's needs. Now I am looking to fill my schedule part time to help with student loans. I always make sure to keep eyes on pets and keep them on a leash. I am very conscious about dog’s comfort levels and making sure they don’t have to interact with any other animals or people they don’t want to.

I am a teacher so I am available for care in the afternoons after 4pm, and weekends. As well as holidays, school breaks and summer. I have a fenced yard and live walking distance to a few nature trails and local parks for keeping pets exercised. I have two very sweet dogs to keep your pet company, as well as a large multilevel home to provide space and separation if that is what your pet prefers.
