I also grew up with close relatives having dogs, so I'm also experienced with them. About: We have owned pets for 20+ years including cats, dogs, a rabbit, fish, chickens and more, and have taken care of a variety of pets for friends, family and neighbors along the way. We have also volunteered for the local Petsmart taking care of kittens and adult cats in the catio. We love our pets and will adore yours as well! We can provide care such as, but not limited to, feeding, watering, medications, cuddling, playing, walking and plenty of love. Laurilee works part-time a couple of days per week as a RN. Travis works full-time from home generally with a flexible schedule as a consulting Forester. We have availability for drop-ins or walks generally between 12:30-2:30 a few days per week and occasional weekends, however this varies and will need to remain somewhat flexible, as we also care for our elderly grandmother. We can not offer baording or overnight stays at owners homes at this time. We are not available for evenings currently, as we have our childrens' activities. We are responsible and will honor the safety requests that you have for your pet(s) in your home and/or on walks. We will maintain a friendly and fun environment while keeping safety the #1 priority. Rover completed background checks on both Travis and Laurilee. In the case of an emergency we would contact you, your emergency veterinarian if shared with us, and Rover immediately. We both have the American Red Cross Pet First Aid app downloaded on our smart phones for quick access for urgent care recommendations if ever needed, along with quick access to the Rover Guarantee webpage and emergency number. Available most weekdays, M-F 12:30pm-2:30pm. Not available evenings or weekends. Boarding and overnight care is not offered at this time. Check-ins and walks may be done by Laurilee, Travis or both depending on the day. If approved, our teenage daughters may join us when available for extra pets and playmates. At this time we are unable to offer pet care service in our home. We have many of our own pets who do not appreciate having other animals in the house.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, I grew up with a black lab named Baxter who’s since passed, as well as 3 cats over the years. One cat was fully in my care for about 2 years before she passed. I currently have 2 cats that are about 12 years old now. I have also petsat for a family friend in the past who had a medium sized, high energy dog. I currently work full time on a rotating schedule. While I might have to find workarounds, I will be dedicated to providing your pet high standard care in every way possible. I am great at following instructions, and love very detailed points. About: I've always had a soft spot for animals, and caring for pets comes naturally to me. As a cat owner myself, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone who is patient, reliable, and genuinely enjoys spending time with them. I also understand that every animal has different needs, routines, and comfort levels. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, administering simple medications, or plenty of cuddles, I'll make sure they receive the attention they deserve. I'll care for your pet as if they were my own and always make sure you receive updates and photos. I'm currently working part time, which allows me to have a flexible schedule for pet care. I'm available for afternoon/evening visits on weekdays and have more availability on weekends. I do my best to work around your pet's normal routine so they stay comfortable and stress free. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality and any special instructions before every visit. In your home, I'll treat your space with respect, keep everything clean and make sure doors and gates are secure. I'll also send regular photo and text updates so you know your pet is happy and doing well while you're away.
About: Since I was 17 years old I have loved taking care of pets. I have a majority of experience in dog sitting but I have cat sat for family friends over the last couple of years. Whether it has been family, friends, or even roommates, I have dog-sat for long and short periods for a wide variety of dogs and dog personalities. I have done my time doing the typical neighbor dog walk in my hometown, but as I have gotten older and lived in other parts of Oregon I've had more diverse experiences. One terrier who I have the most pet-sitting experience disliked touching and getting pets, but I still gave him plenty of walks, play, and quality time. I love pet sitting because they provide a huge impact to everyone who wants to leave their pet in good hands. I am new to the Vancouver/Metro area, looking for work all around. I might be working for a non-profit 4 days/week, but I am available. Overall I have high weekend availability and would love to watch your dog! For house sitting I will follow any specific instructions as needed. Whether it's related to dinner, doggy bedtime, or a walk routine I can assure that the pets will be in good hands.
