Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. I work 7 days on 7 days off. During my off time I’m home without any other responsibilities and have all day to take care of your best friend. About: We've had pets in my home since I was a baby, so I'm very familiar with caring for different types of dogs and cats, from super energetic to one's that love and need their own space. I've done dog walking and sitting, as well as cat sitting. I'm currently a student athlete at UAFS, so I have less availability during the week than I do on the weekends, which are completely free. If there is a day on the weekend that isn't I will let you know in advance. If your pet does need more care during the week, we can absolutely work something out that's the best for them and my classes. I'm a super flexible as a person, so whether your pet needs ample play time and attention, or just needs a calming presence with them while you're away or at work, I can accommodate both. If you'd rather me be there for just a check in walk/feeding and then leave, that's also completely fine.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats and birds all my life. Being raised on a farm gave me plenty of experience with what pets need. Daily walks and lots of space to run around and play. Having no work, I am home everyday with my pets. Take my dog for walks, brush him every-other day and grooming my cat. About: While growing up I have always had a dog in the home. I’m a huge dog lover and don’t know what I would do if I did not have a dog in my life. I remember when my parents let me chose our next dog when I was young. I chose a sheltie and named him Arrow. The reason for the name Arrow was when I went to pick him up I noticed in his fur on the back of his head was an arrow. I loved taking care of Arrow and we had a special bond! I loved taking him on walks and he loved chasing me around the house. When I turned 15 I started to take care of one of my neighbors cats and fish when they went on vacations. After completing one summer, I started taking care of their cats and fish for the next eight years before I moved out. I don’t have a fenced backyard. However, have a small backyard that is used for potty breaks. It does have a small area of grass turf (fake grass). The good news we live in Fairview in the Fairview Terrace community. We have a very large area for dogs. So your dog will have lots of playtime in the grassy area. Also, the neighborhood is perfect for walking your dog as well. The community is fenced and a gated community as well. Our community is very dog friendly and many pet owners. We also have a micro mini Golden doodle. So your dog will have a playmate as well. We can also send photos of your pet to you while on vacation to help with the separation. I know when I go on vacation I have a hard time leaving my fur baby behind. For me, getting photos of my fur baby made the vacation a little easier!
