As a large, energetic breed, German Shepherds can be a handful, but Rachel handles her with such confidence, care, and expertise. Bella always comes home happy, tired from plenty of play and walks, and clearly well-loved. Rachel is incredibly responsive—messages are answered quickly, and she keeps us updated every step of the way. The daily photo and video updates are a game-changer, showing Bella playing in the yard, cuddling, or just relaxing like she’s at home. She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation. About: I have loved animals my whole life and have several years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I spent 6 years training and competing in 4-H with my Yorkie, Milly, and we competed at the state level multiple times, which gave me a really strong foundation in dog handling, training, and patience. I had my last cat for 16 years, so I’m well aware of the full life cycle, kitten to senior and how different those stages may be. Now that I’m retired, I have something a busy pet sitter often can’t offer: **unhurried time** and can swish a cat toy with the best of them. I’m happy to spend time with your cat on their terms—whether that means playtime, a little conversation, sitting nearby while they do their thing, or settling in for some serious snuggling if that’s what they’re looking for. About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. About: I am excited to finally be putting a dent in the stack of half-read books thanks to the kitties keeping my lap warm I am comfortable with all breeds, medical conditions and ages. Sadly, I do have to admit that I am adverse to hairless cats.

About: I have cared for animals from as early as I can remember. Around the age 12, I provided all necessary care for our family pets and other relatives pets. I now have a dog of my own! She is a 1 year old Aussie that is my best friend. We are very active together doing anything from river swims, to hikes, to long boarding! Her temperament is great and takes signals very well from other dogs to adapt to their play style. She does great with any age and size of dog. I have a dog house in the backyard and a tree to provide shade while taking breaks from playing. Lilly sleeps in the house with us and I would do the same for your doggo. Depending on your dogs training and ability to self entertain I do have a large size kennel available for use.

About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’m a Clinton local and experienced pet caregiver. I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. Your animals get all the love in the world when I’m sitting, no matter their shape or size! I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the gentle intros and patience they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

Over that time I’ve handled everything from daily walks and feeding schedules to vet visits, medication routines, and adjusting to a dog’s individual quirks and energy levels. I understand that every dog is different. Some need structure and exercise, others just want a calm, familiar presence while you’re away. I treat every dog I care for with the same patience and attention I’d want for my own. I work from home most days, which means I’m around and available for walks, potty breaks, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m only in the office Wednesday and Thursday, and even then it’s just for a few hours so I can build dropins or a midday walk around that window if needed. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.
About: I have had my own cats and dogs from pup to senior age. I have worked with pets that need high level of attention and exercise to very low level. I enjoy working with both! A little about me: My name is Connor, which fittingly means "hound lover." I work at a psychiatric hospital with twelve hour shifts. I help those that are unhoused and getting them back into the community. I work M,T,W and S,M,T - 12 hour shift schedule. So working end of the week works really well for me doing Rover. I love being active myself and running with dogs. I’ve only been able to have one outdoor cat in the past. They usually like being inside. In the house I can snuggle and keep them good company.

About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk
