“Jenny is excellent as always. We were gone for an extended trip to the Philippines, and she provided regular updates and cute pictures of Bouncer while we were away. I also asked if she would be able to give Bouncer a bath since we were gone for a while. Jenny kindly agreed. I gave Jenny additional compensation for this. I could tell that she went above and beyond for my dog. I'll be asking Jenny again for help with Bouncer in the future!”

“AMAZING experience. My friend who uses rover told me about David, and am I just the luckiest person when I heard he was available to accept Daisy. The perfect duo David and his wife sent me videos and pictures, they kept me updated and just made sure I knew she was okay and felt comfortable with them. I love this app but I will forever check if David is available to watch daisy before anyone else ever. Rover is the way to go. And David should be your first choice.”

“Matt and Sander took excellent care of our pup while we were away for a week. They sent a ton of great updates so we knew she was having a great time! They were very easy to book with and communicative throughout. Would definitely book again or recommend to a friend!”

“Alexa was a fantastic care taker to my two border collies. I got frequent pictures and videos and it was clear my dogs settled in early! They were right at home. Alexa was incredibly communicative throughout their stay and I would absolutely use her again in the future. Your pets would be lucky to stay with her!”

“Anita is a very wonderful sitter, took care of my doggo like her own, played with her when he did not want to walk, gave him home made food and took him on long walks. She shared lots of updates too.”

“April is amazing and her boarding is top notch. We're excited to have found an incredible teacher and can't wait to learn from her so we can get the same amazing results on our walks with our pups. She took the time to get to know us and each of our dogs. Her approach is structured and supportive. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Charmaine does an amazing job with my senior tripawd Coco. Coco is definitely a little picky and needs a little extra care, but is always happy after her stays!”

“John has always been very professional and considerate when hosting Lex. I feel a piece of mind dealing knowing that Lex is well taking care of. Thank you very much”

“Sunny had the best time with Tenzin and his family. We got so many updates and it looks like he went on lots of walks and got lots of walks. Would highly recommend!”

“My dog stayed with Tyler for eight days while I was on vacation. Tyler was very communicative and responded promptly to my messages. I received daily updates and pictures of my dog being walked and fed. My dog seemed content while staying with Tyler and returned home happy and well taken care of. I’d book with Tyler again in the future.”

“Mary took great care of Izzy while we were gone. We got lots of photos and videos of our very happy dog running, playing and then relaxing and getting pats. We will definitely book again!”

“Our girl Bella had such a good time during her stay. She was so happy and excited with all the playing and running she did. Wan and family sent us lots of videos and messages throughout that made us feel more at ease. I would definitely recommend them for any dog sitting or boarding needs!”

“Julie and Cyrus bonded instantly. Her attention to his personality and behavior made for a wonderful weekend. I will absolutely book Cyrus with Julie again!”

“STOP! Look no more! This is the sitter u are looking for. My frenchie loves people but is very picky with whom he cuddles with. Within one day, he was snuggling with Terri. Shes a special human who really has a connection with animals. Her pictures and updates are stellar! Book her!”

“I was a last minute booking and Chelsea made it happen! My cat was a little stressed from the transition into a new space, but Chelsea was patient and updated me with photos. Would book again!”

“Katie is the best! She is easy to communicate with and sends regular updates. Katie has boarded my dog twice now and I will continue to reach out to her for future trips. She is reliable, accommodating, and very sweet with my dog. I highly recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve had cats, rabbits, and small animals all my life. I’ve taken care of friends and family’s animals (cats, dogs, birds) for 16 years. I have experience with senior animals, animals recovering from surgery, and animals taking medications. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your animal in the care of someone else. I strive to provide care and enrichment while you’re away.
“Gracie (Gray), did an amazing job taking care of our cat Wellington. She sent use daily pictures and when we got home, it was clear he had been well cared for! Gray is a great pet sitter.”

About: I’ve had cats and dogs most of my life, and I genuinely love the quiet companionship of animals. I had my last cat for 16 years, so I’m well aware of the full life cycle, kitten to senior and how different those stages may be. Now that I’m retired, I have something a busy pet sitter often can’t offer: **unhurried time** and can swish a cat toy with the best of them. I’m happy to spend time with your cat on their terms—whether that means playtime, a little conversation, sitting nearby while they do their thing, or settling in for some serious snuggling if that’s what they’re looking for. I’m attentive to their individual personalities and routines, and I’m not in a rush to get in and out. I’m a homeowner with a flexible schedule. I don’t administer medications, but I’m happy to handle the everyday care that helps your cat feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. My daughter and I did some cat sitting for a summer when she was in high school (Einsteins Pets) and took care of multiple cats, some that were love bugs and some that I just talked to under the bed. (My cat was more like the latter when we had sitters, so I didn’t take it personally; I just tried to be reassuring, talked to her when I was clean king up, and knew she was eating well, so that was that.) I’m also hoping to eventually combine my love of animals with travel by pet sitting in interesting places abroad. So for now, I’m very happy to begin by getting to know the wonderful cat/s closer to home.
About: I have loved animals my whole life and have several years of hands-on experience caring for and training dogs. I spent 6 years training and competing in 4-H with my Yorkie, Milly, and we competed at the state level multiple times, which gave me a really strong foundation in dog handling, training, and patience. Beyond that, I have experience dog and house sitting for friends and neighbors, including walking, feeding, bathing, playing with, and caring for their pets. What also sets me apart is that I have now worked with sled dogs for the past two winters, including at Denali National Park. That experience has made me very comfortable handling high-energy dogs, sticking to routines, reading animal behavior, and providing attentive care in all kinds of conditions. I am confident working with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, exercised, and well cared for. I currently work an 8-4 in near the university so if you are in town I can let pets out during the day! After and before work I love to be active taking pets on runs and walks in the morning and evenings! I care for pets with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and their individual needs. I always use leashes in public spaces unless otherwise directed, and I stay very aware of other dogs, cars, people, and anything else that could become a hazard. I keep a calm, attentive demeanor around animals and try to make them feel secure and comfortable. In a client’s home, I would be respectful of their routines, rules, and space, and I am happy to adjust walks, playtime, and care based on each pet’s age, energy level, and personality.

“April is just THE BEST! We thought we would be stuck for an extra day out of the country on our most recent trip, and she was immediately reassuring and so accommodating that our kitties would be well cared for until we could return. We made it home in time, but it was such a relief to know that our babies are in good hands if extenuating circumstances should arise. Thank you, April!”

“Emma is absolutely amazing! Excellent communication and care of our cat. We look forward to working with Emma again! 100% trustworthy, responsible, kind, gracious, and professional.”

About: I work for an animal rescue and have two loving cats of my own! I am experienced with medication administration, kitten and senior cat care, and being a calm and patient presence for shy or spicy kitties. My career in animal welfare means I’ve seen it all and am happy to help you out with whatever you need.

“Jaimie is fabulous. My cat liked her immediately. She took lovely photos and kept me updated on my cat’s eating and litter activities, which I appreciated and made me feel confident that all was well. She made the right decision when faced with a mistake on my part. I trust Jaimie and would highly recommend her. You’d lucky to have her as a pet sitter!”

About: Grew up with dogs, always gravitate to them. Volunteered at a rescue shelter for years. Recently landed on Whidbey Island and looking to help out the local pups in need of some care! Very flexible schedule. Moved to Whidbey Island without many commitments to start so I have plenty of time to commit to walks and doggo care. Each dog and owner have different histories, tendencies and needs. It’s important to build trust and rapport with a dog in order to best serve a dog while the owner is away. It’s a responsibility to take seriously!
About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.
About: I have been blessed to have a life surrounded by family and friend dogs and cats. I love all furry friends! I have attached pictures of some of the ones surrounding my life today. I also love learning of animal behavior to improve how we can communicate. I take their comfort very seriously, animals deserve respect! :) My current work is flexible and I will try my best to see your buddy when our schedules work. My weekends are flexible as well! I will follow all the rules and steps required to make you and your pet feel safe and secure. I am flexible and agreeable to most tasks!
“Login was amazing while I was gone for an entire month. She is always so flexible and goes the extra mile to make sure Maz is safe & happy. Highly recommended!”

About: I have cared for animals from as early as I can remember. Around the age 12, I provided all necessary care for our family pets and other relatives pets. I now have a dog of my own! She is a 1 year old Aussie that is my best friend. We are very active together doing anything from river swims, to hikes, to long boarding! I cant wait to show your pup the love and attention they deserve! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time for your pups! My work schedule changes weekly as of now so I will be updating my availability quit often and am very willing to work with you and your pups needs. I have a great size fully fenced yard for your pal to play in. My dog, Lilly, is extremely friendly and loves to play with other dogs. Her temperament is great and takes signals very well from other dogs to adapt to their play style. She does great with any age and size of dog. I have a dog house in the backyard and a tree to provide shade while taking breaks from playing. Lilly sleeps in the house with us and I would do the same for your doggo. Depending on your dogs training and ability to self entertain I do have a large size kennel available for use.
About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!
About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. Any time, currently I am unemployed and am taking classes online, so as long as I get a heads up I will be able to do whatever you need! I have a fenced place in a family and pet friendly neighborhood. I will figure out what else can be dog-proofed and to make sure that they is nothing they can get into.

About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry (and feathered) family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

“Kimberly is wonderful! She has an awesome property for dogs to run around and play. She would provide constant updates with great pictures of Lila. She even cleaned Lila up after rolling around in the mud. I will be using Kimberly again!”

“Amazing dog care! Grace and Dohoon went above and beyond. They sent regular photo updates, walked my dog even in the rain, and created a truly homey atmosphere. Their meticulous attention to detail put my mind at ease. I highly recommend them! Thank you, Grace and Dohoon !!”

“While in Washington for a special event I needed someone to care for my senior dog for several hours a day over the course of two days and Rachael came through for me. I knew my dog was in a safe, caring place and in capable hands. I would readily use her services again if in the vicinity.”

“Marlene is someone I trust to take good care of my dog. She took care of my sweet Potato for three days and he came home happy and tired from all the play with other dogs. It is nice to know he is in good hands with Marlene.”

“David and Jeanette are so great with the dogs they care for! My puppy is happy in their home, they make it very comfortable for the dogs and I can tell they truly care about each and every one. My puppy loves them. ?”

“This was the second time I’ve used ShuShu—first time was for 6 days, and yesterday for just that one day. She was totally trustworthy and communicative for the extended stay, and my pup was so happy upon my return. I’m grateful ShuShu took my pup yesterday on rather short notice. All I needed was relief from my super energized puppy and she gave that to me. ShuShu is cheerful, positive and a good communicator. I highly recommend!”

“Anita was absolutely wonderful with my puppy, Sky. He had an amazing time with her. She was very attentive and consistently sent frequent updates, including details about his meals and walks, which I really appreciated. It gave me complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Goose had a GREAT time with Elena and Klemheist. He came home a happy and sleepy puppy. Elena helped me out last minute after my previous sitter had to cancel and I could not be more thankful. I’ll definitely be using Elena next time I need doggy daycare or boarding for Goose.”

“Having Jiahna care for Gideon has been a real pleasure. She was very helpful and flexible as we did a meet and greet and evaluated if Gideon would be a good fit. She took time to ask really good questions about Gideon and learn all she could so it's the better care for Gideon. From the get-go, Gideon loved being at her house and sharing time with her puppy. It was a good fit. I always knew that Jiahna had Gideon's best in mind, and I always got good reports at the end of the day. So very glad that I got to meet and have Gideon stay with Jiahna. I highly recommend her as a safe and professional Rover person for your canine needs. Gideon will miss her for sure and I have really appreciated the care and great connection that she showed in caring for Gideon. 💜🐕”

“Mary was an amazing sitter for Demi! Kept me updated and very detailed at the end of service with the Rover card. It was my first time leaving my doggy with someone and she made the experience better with easy communication. Bonus points because my dog really enjoyed the time with Mary and had lots of fun play time! Will be rebooking with her. 10/10 recommend!”

“My pup Selah and I had a great experience with Stephanie. She is reliable, communicative, and took wonderful care of Selah. This was my first time having Selah stay in a sitter’s home, and Stephanie made the whole experience easy and reassuring. I received regular updates and photos, which I really appreciated. It’s no surprise Stephanie has such great reviews—Selah came home happy and well cared for. I’m already looking forward to having my pup stay with her again. It’s such a relief to find someone trustworthy, and I highly recommend Stephanie’s services.”

“Joe is awesome! We highly recommend him for dog walking. He has a great, can-do attitude and is flexible, too. He always shows up on time. Our dog loves him, and is very excited when Joe's car pulls up. He is kind, respectful, and enthusiastic. He works with us as we're training Mochi on loose-leash walking.”

About: I am very good with creating a calm, safe environment and my calm, relaxed demeanor helps to alleviate any stresses the dog may be experiencing I am off work by 1pm so I’m able to get outside and go for walks or to the park, there are many options near my home I give them lots of love, plenty of potty breaks, and of course I take care to make sure the water bowl is always full
About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. I would be so delighted to take care of your dog or cat! Whether that be for walks, check-ins or house sitting, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend my time with your pets. Their happiness and safety will always come first! I am currently a student at WSU, but I have a flexible schedule to take care of your furbabies. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I promise to always keep a close eye on your animals and monitor them on their behavior, and eating or drinking patterns to make sure nothing is out of the normal for your furbaby. I will always set a side a, if not multiple, chunks of time to ensure they are enriched with playtime. Please also let me know your pet's quirks, triggers, and/or medications that they might have or need, so I can be well equipped while they are in my care.

“Katie was absolutely amazing with our Doberman puppy. Our puppy is very fearful of people and can be a challenge but Katie had no issues developing trust between them and becoming her friend. 10/10 rating for Katie! She is the best!”

I help those that are unhoused and getting them back into the community. I work M,T,W and S,M,T - 12 hour shift schedule. So working end of the week works really well for me doing Rover. I love being active myself and running with dogs. I’ve only been able to have one outdoor cat in the past. They usually like being inside. In the house I can snuggle and keep them good company.
About: I have been blessed to have a life surrounded by family and friend dogs and cats. I love all furry friends! I have attached pictures of some of the ones surrounding my life today. About: I love dogs and am looking to spend my free time playing with wonderful pups. Dogs are the joy of my life:). I believe that pups can teach me a lot about the simple pleasures in life. I am always spoiling pups that I meet with love and attentions that fulfills me and is appreciated by the pups themselves. I enjoy taking time out of my day to make pups feel loved, well-cared-for, and happy. I share a Shiba Inu with my friend Honza who I love more than anything. He has taught me how to be patient and kind when teaching dogs to interact positively with their surroundings. I look forward to encountering as many breeds as possible in my life so that I can understand more about what makes each dog different.

“ShuShu was great with Maya. She maintained her usual routine with walks and food and sent updates to us every day. Maya was well cared for and came back home happy ☺️ we will be booking with ShuShu again!”

“Elena is amazing. Great, constant communication and pictures. I had zero worries or complaints - never had to follow up or ask for anything. Will use her again when I travel. Savannah had a blast and was taken great care of.”

“Karissa is our favorite pet sitter. We have left our 1 yr Corgi with her for 12 days and she sent us photos and updates every day and he was happy in every one of them. He loves to stay at her place and always happy when I leave him there.”

“We are so glad we found Sheri! For years we took our dog to a kennel when we traveled. They took good care of him, but he always came home stressed. Now he comes home calm and happy. He loves going to Sheri's house for his own little vacation when we travel. She takes him for walks daily, he gets to be her shadow at home and he gets lots of healthy treats. What could be better?! ”
“We decided to do a trial run since this would be the first time the pups were away and I didn't know how they would reacted. Karen was very nice and understanding to the situation. During the meet and greet, she interacted with them and was very informative. I appreciated the updates and pictures she sent while they were with her.”

“Darin did a wonderful job caring for our senior pup, Burt, at his house, and I wouldn't hesitate to book with him again. Darin was great at communicating with us throughout Burt's stay, and this reassured us that he was in good hands. Burt was shy and reserved at first, but Darin helped him feel safe, comfortable and cared for in no time at all. Burt felt at home in Darin's beautiful backyard and home and enjoyed his daily walks in the neighborhood. Burt recieved lots of extra pets and love from Darin's family. What a great bonus!”

“Addy had such a great visit with Bethany! She came home happy and we loved the updates. Knowing she was having a great time and was well cared for gave us the space to relax and enjoy our trip!”

“My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

“Stephanie has been absolutely amazing! She was super communicative and understanding of us being nervous at first about leaving our pup for an extended period of time while we went on vacation. She provided daily updates and always kept us in the loop. We picked up our happy and tired pup yesterday, and he seems like he had the best time. We are so grateful to Stephanie and her family for taking such great care of him!”
