I have a very flexible schedule and enjoy going for walks. As a stay at home mother I am glad to earn some income while easing the stresses of having to be away from your pets while working or travelling. Playtime kicks in around noon, followed by post-lunch potty and another nap. We then join mom in her office, demanding attention, before yet another nap until the next break. Potty, Dinner, and Cuddles. Then one last potty before bed. We’re kinda couch potatoes in our home.
About: With over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, I offer calm, full-time attention in a quiet home with a large yard and a peaceful resident dog. I’m confident administering medications, as I regularly care for my own pets' health needs. I understand the unique needs of both senior pets and spirited cats, and I’m happy to provide gentle walks, playtime, and lots of affection. Your pet’s comfort and safety are always my top priority. I am currently home all day and available for walks and love. For walks and home visits Tuesday - Friday I am available on a twice daily basis. Sat, Sun, and Monday I am available any time. About: I'm more than a quick potty-break sitter. I love giving dogs exercise, enrichment, and fun outdoor adventures tailored to their energy level. I frequently visit Tolmie State Park, where dogs can enjoy wooded trails, new scents, and beachside walks. Whether your pup loves exploring, playing, or simply getting extra attention, I'll provide personalized care and regular updates so you can feel confident while you're away. My availability is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM and again from 5:00 PM–12:00 AM. Weekend availability varies, so please feel free to reach out with your requested dates and times. I do my best to accommodate flexible scheduling whenever possible. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I treat every animal like a member of my own family. I follow each pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, medications, and any special care instructions. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, small reptiles and pet birds. I understand that every animal has its own personality, needs, and comfort level, and I take the time to build trust with each pet. For dogs, I provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and affection through walks, playtime, and outdoor adventures. For cats, I focus on maintaining a calm environment while providing companionship, play, and routine care. For birds, I ensure fresh food and water, clean living spaces, enrichment, and safe, attentive handling when appropriate. Communication is important to me, so I provide regular updates and photos to give pet parents peace of mind while they're away. My goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for every pet in my care.
About: I love dogs and all Animals, I also have animal and human CPR training. I am in a great dog loving area. I enjoy dogs of all sizes and ages and have the flexibility to provide and care for any dog. I have a self trained therapy dog, Athena, who loves loves to play and run, as well as cuddle...on occasion. I am willing to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of your puppy, from a simple walk to, to a drop in visit, or making my home feel like a second home to your dog or puppy. “We wish we had found John and his family sooner! Nicki had a great time staying with them. We received daily updates and photos, and she even got to enjoy walks. For longer stays, we prefer that Nicki is the only dog or that the sitter only has one of their own, since she values her space. That said, for shorter stays, being around multiple dogs is totally fine—she gets to rest and recharge when she returns home. During her stay, she saw one other dog briefly, which was no issue. We would absolutely recommend John and plan to use his services again!”
