About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job and I am semi-retired. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails/not fenced for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have giant wire crates/bedding for night sleeping and can take up to 3 dogs. I would prefer same family, but may be some overlap with scheduling. Otherwise they will be spending time with me in my home and on my property. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade. I also have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. If you have a well trained dog that would be happy sleeping in a dog bed at night, I can be accommodating. Must have been crate trained at some point in their life. Waking up in the am to an intact couch is nice! 😊 Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. If your cat stays with me, I have a separate bed room (cats only) and up to 2 cats (one family only) where they can lay on the bed and have access to a litter box, scratch post, toys, food and water. Please be up to date on Vaccinations, worming and monthly flea control and bring their food.
About: I've worked with a variety of animals throughout my life and dogs have taken up the majority of that experience. I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life, helped neighbors with their animals, both with house visits and making sure their animal friends get proper exercise. I just finished working at a dog and cat kennel that I was with for a year before starting college, there I learned how to handle every size dog, proper grooming, styling, exerciseing, training, behavior modification and observation, medication treatments and how too handle emergency situations. I'm at student at The Evergreen State College and currently have classes three days a week, I'm looking to work with animals while I learn more about them. I'm very flexible and can work with your needs. I will ensure your animal friends have a proper and comfy place while your gone, insuring your pets have a good climate, don't get too cold or too warm. About: I have been a veterinary assistant for about 2 years and love animal science. Eventually, I want to become a veterinarian- but for now I have my Bachelor's in Arts and Science from UW tacoma. I have 3 friendly dogs and a fenced-in yard. My dogs are kennel- trained and understand that sometimes other dog friends need space before being playful. I am a stay-at-home mom of one child and two friendly dogs. I am home almost everyday and able to care for your pet hourly if needed. My yard is huge, grassy and fully/securely fenced. Your dog can interact with mine or you can request to keep them separate, as I can accommodate that as well. My dogs spend most of their time in my fenced-backyard. They have space to run and trees for shade. They all like to take turns chewing on bones I give them, lay in the sunshine, play tug-o-war with the rope toy. Dogs are crate trained so if your dog needs attention separately I can accommodate easily.

In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.

About: Iv always grown up around animals especially dogs. From a family setting to being just me and my dog in college. I’m a current service member so I have access on JBLM as well. I only have my one pup and getting her a fun friend for a few days is fun for us both. I’m currently off work all summer so I’m usually taking my dog on walks 2+ times a day and just getting out to enjoy the PNW sun. Super careful at first and then loosen up when I learn how they want to play and interact. Some dogs want go play 24/7 and some just like to be a potato. Both are great to me

About: Since I was young, I have always had large breed dogs in the household, Rottweilers and German Shepards, and have always been comfortable with them. While in high-school and college, my fiance and I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind, 4 of our 5 puppies finished the program and were matched with people in need. We helped co-raise around 6 additional puppies as well. We also love cats, we have a tabby-calico mix named Teva, a lyxn point siamese named Minnie, and a gray siamese mix named Baby. Pima, one of the puppies that did not complete the program has been with us for 11 years now, and we have loved every moment of it. Unfortunately Pima passed away from cancer, but we do have a new addition to the family! We now have a big boy named Koa, an 80 lb American Rottweiler mix we adopted after he was found roaming Lacey Wa. He was very aggressive and untrained when we adopted him, but now he is the prime example of a model dog with our training! My schedule is very open. My wife is a school teacher so I do prefer to have the weekend off, but weekend visits are fine as well. I do have a fully fenced yard, our cats are indoor only, but one does go outside on a leash because she is adventurous. Very respectful of other's space.
About: I can hardly remember a time where i didnt have at least one pet. About: I have cared for my own dogs since I was a child, and have spent time petsitting for neighbors and friends as well. I worked at a dog daycare for a year, which I loved. I'm not working right now so I have time on my hands to care for your dogs! I am not available on weekends or on Wednesday evenings as I have class. When I house sit for you I am able to do whatever it is your dog is used to, whether it's playing with toys, going on walks or running in the yard, I'll be sure to give your pet what they need at all times.
About: Growing up, I've cared for all kinds of animals; millipedes, toads, ferrets, snakes, so many more and of course cats/dogs! I love all kinds of pets, and none are too scary or challenging for me. My schedule is entirely open, 24/7! I'm more than happy to respond to early morning and late night calls. About: I am new to Rover, but have worked in the Animal Health Industry as a Veterinarian Technician (animal nurse) and outside sales/customer service for the past 30+ years. Along with the background check Rover provides, I also have a Business License and I am Insured/Bonded. Animal care is my only business/job and I am semi-retired. I have experience with most animals from reptiles to cattle and currently have a little 5 acre hobby farm with a horse, goats, chickens, dog and cat. I am very flexible with days you need pet care. My days are filled with animal care of my own/yours, walking/hiking, gardening and home/property projects. Your pets will be treated with great care while spending time with me. I have a gated 5 acre hobby farm with 1/2 acre fully fenced area around my home. My farm animals are fenced in separately for safety. I also have 3 acres of wooded trails/not fenced for leash walking. I am able to provide care and exercise depending on your pets needs and will only accept dogs that are not aggressive towards people or other dogs for a positive/fun experience. I have giant wire crates/bedding for night sleeping and can take up to 3 dogs. I would prefer same family, but may be some overlap with scheduling. Otherwise they will be spending time with me in my home and on my property. There are two large porches for either sunning or shade. I also have air conditioning. Please be up to date on vaccinations (including kennel cough), worming and monthly flea control. I live in a quiet/peaceful valley. Please no excessive barkers and bring their food, treats and special toys. If you have a well trained dog that would be happy sleeping in a dog bed at night, I can be accommodating. Must have been crate trained at some point in their life. Waking up in the am to an intact couch is nice! 😊 Please allow enough time for a 1st time meet and greet prior to finalizing the booking. “We wish we had found John and his family sooner! Nicki had a great time staying with them. We received daily updates and photos, and she even got to enjoy walks. For longer stays, we prefer that Nicki is the only dog or that the sitter only has one of their own, since she values her space. That said, for shorter stays, being around multiple dogs is totally fine—she gets to rest and recharge when she returns home. During her stay, she saw one other dog briefly, which was no issue. We would absolutely recommend John and plan to use his services again!”
