“Booking with Dane was very easy. He responded quickly and drop-off and pick-up were very smooth. Our flight got in late and he and his wife were very flexible with us. Boomer looked like he had a great time and has done nothing but sleep since getting home. I think he was worn out from all his fun! He even came back to us smelling great so a bath must have happened as well!”

“The best of the best. From the first thirty minutes to the last ten minutes we received updates on our fur baby. I received photos, videos, check ins, that made me laugh and feel good about my fur baby. The fact that they also have family home all day long is a huge plus for a dog like mine who has anxiety. I will definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a pet sitter!”

“Matthew was very easy to communicate with and sent updates regularly. He is positive and understands dogs. Saint is a big dog and needs people interaction. Saint seemed happy and loved in each photo that we received and was happy when he came home. We have never left him before and feel very good about his stay with Matthew.”

“What wonderful caretakers! They sent lots of updates which gave me so much peace of mind while away from my boys! They were also highly attentive and responsive and were delightfully flexible when I got back from my trip early and was able to pick them up sooner than originally expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone and next time I need a dog sitter I will be asking them first!”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! Growing up, I had dogs both big and small, as well as cats. Now I have a dog (June) and a cat (George) of my own. They are the loves of my life! I have experience with puppies and seniors, as well as administering medication to dogs and cats. I’ll treat your pet as if it were my own! I am currently in school, and it is self-paced, so my schedule is quite flexible! I can provide pet care basically any time, and adjust my school schedule accordingly. If I am caring for a pet in a client’s home, I will be sure they feel comfortable and safe with me. If I’m caring for a pet in my own home, it is important that they are comfortable with cats and other dogs. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space to play!

“This was my first experience with Rover and I must say it all went so great. Rikke was absolutely amazing! I’m pretty sure Milo might want to live at their house he had so much fun. They welcomed him as part of their family. Thanks so much for loving him, keeping him safe, and totally entertained. And for all the cute pictures. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. If I ever return to Seattle with Milo I would 100% leave Milo with Rikke again. She’s literally the best.”
“Doreen is the best dog sitter around! She is so good at getting dogs out of their shell and is just a fantastic person. We love taking our little pittie, Dobbs, to her house as he adores her and she always has such fun friends to introduce him to. We're just so greateful to have found her!”

“Axel was wonderful with my kitty. They gave lots of updates that gave me so much peace of mind on my travels. They also took great care of the house. They will be my first choice for cat sitting when I travel going forward.”

“I have a diabetic cat who's afraid of everyone and requires insulin injections 2x a day. I have not been able to find anyone willing to take on this challenging situation, until I found Cassie on Rover. I swear she can walk on water and is a cat whisperer. She took the time to come and watch me do a glucose test and insulin injection before the first trip I've been able to take in 7 yrs , knowing she would take good care of Punkin. I was gone for 8 days and she came twice a day and Punkin didn't hide from her like she does with everyone but me. I could not recommend her highly enough and will definitely be planning longer trips, using Cassie without worrying my cat would suffer. If you want a sweet, reliable and caring cat sitter, you want Cassie on Rover.”

“Sarah did a great job taking care of my two kitties. This was our first time using a sitter (that wasn’t family or family friends). I was nervous about leaving them - but it was obvious from the start that Sarah is a cat person who knows what she’s doing. She followed my instructions closely and was great with our kitties - even our anxious one. She also did a great job giving meds and providing us with detailed check in information and photos. We will definitely have her come again - it’s such a relief to have found someone we can trust to take such good care of them!”

“As always, Isabel did a great job taking care of Chip and Theo. She was available very last minute which took a lot of stress off me for such a late request. I will continue to book her in the future.”

“Willa was super sweet and professional. She checked in on my kitties and sent photos every day. She was always quick to respond and helped me since this was my first time booking with Rover.”

“Rose has been an absolute lifesaver for us as we do a lot of last minute travel and have a senior cat requiring medication. She’s always so accommodating and flexible, and consistently goes above and beyond. Beyond happy that we found her and we will rebook her every single time!”

“Monique was great! We really appreciated how professional she was and she took great care of our cat Gracie. I would definitely recommend her and would not hesitate to use her again. Thank you so much!”

“Shelli was able to fill my last minute request and I’m so grateful! She’s a great communicator and was patient and engaging with my shy dog. I would book with Shelli again!”

“Ernest and Lauren always go above and beyond. They're so kind and caring and communicate often and clearly. Our boys (3 kitties) love them and were so thankful we found them.”

“Emma was great with our cat! She made sure she always had water and food, cleaned her litter box, and gave her lots of love and attention. She also sent lots of pictures and was great at communicating. Will definitely book her again!”

“This was the second time Amanda took care of our 18-year-old kitten. Señorita Magdalena loves staying here and clings to Amanda desperately when we come to pick her up. If you want someone who's kind and caring, Amanda is the answer.”

“Kritika always provides excellent care for our cat when we travel and it always gives us great peace of mind that we don’t have to worry while we’re away. Highly recommend!”

“Francena is a loving, caring, and knowledgeable provider! She treats my senior Bichon like her own. She took prompt care of him when he was anxious (which he always is now that he is senior). She kept me posted and was very patient with his senior habits! She really knows dogs with all her experience in showing, breeding, grooming, and vet industries. I'm so happy to have found her!❤️”

About: We don’t currently have pets of our own, but my experience with animals spans their entire lifetime. I raised both a Shih Tzu-Poodle mix and a Tibetan Terrier from puppies into their senior years. They were truly part of our family, and after losing them, I’m not emotionally ready to adopt again. Pet sitting feels like the perfect win-win your pets will be showered with love, attention, and care, while also bringing that special furry companionship back into our home. I’m experienced in daily pet care, including brushing and coat maintenance. Since both of our dogs had coats that matted easily, daily brushing and regular grooming were essential, and I personally maintained and trimmed their coats myself. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve pet sat for friends and family during vacations, often caring for their pets for weeks at a time. I also worked as a nanny for several years, where I regularly cared for a German Shepherd who became one of my favorites. We took daily walks to the park, and I helped maintain his coat, especially during shedding season. My love for animals began growing up on a farm surrounded by dogs, cats, and frequent litters of puppies and kittens. Being able to witness and help care for animals from such a young age gave me a deep appreciation for them and taught me patience, attentiveness, and compassion. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I will always care for them as if they were part of my own family. My schedule is very flexible, I work from home in the evenings, the timing is perfect for winding down, they can relax in my office while I work or in our living room or room. In my home: Safety is my top priority. I have a large, fully fenced backyard, that connect directly to our lower living area allowing for secure and easy access for potty breaks. For variety i can take them around our neighborhood for walks and can utilize a large park at a nearby school for additional play time. Pet not good on walks, NO PROBLEM: Having owned a Tibetan Terrier who was incredibly loving with family and children, but reactive to other dogs on walks I deeply understand that every dog is different. If a pet is anxious or not good on walks, we can stay withing our private back yard. In the clients home: I follow the owners established routines and instructions to keep the pet safe and comfortable in their familiar environment, including tailored neighborhood walks.

“Enzo had a wonderful day with Han. Everything went smoothly with drop off and pick up and Han was professional throughout the process. She took amazing care of our pup and we will definitely book with her again in the future! Thank you so much, Han! :)”

“Judith and family were great! I had a wedding in the area and needed someone to watch my dog for a couple hours and Judith to the rescue. She was fine with last minute plans. Her home was super pet friendly and my pooch made himself at home. He was happy and tired from playing when I picked him up! Would absolutely use again when I visit my friends in the area!”
“Thank you, Gino, for taking care of Gus today! I was definitely more anxious than him since it was his first time as an adult dog staying with someone he doesn’t know. Gino sent plenty of update photos and video throughout the day with text updates on how he was settling in, which eased my nerves. Gus wasn’t stressed or anxious when I picked him back up and so I could tell he was well taken care of. We’re looking forward to more regular daycare visits!”

About: I’ve not only had my own pets throughout my entire life, but have cared for the pets of those around me on multiple occasions, whether it be dog walking for neighbors, or pet sitting for vacations. I work from home and am typically available all day to care for your pets. I am flexible and can come check on your pets when needed as well. When checking in on your pets in your home I will spend quality time with them, while also checking their food and water supply and making sure their living situation is up to standard. When caring for pets in my home, I will treat them as my own.
“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog receives, Irey is incredibly friendly, attentive and truly love animals. Bella always comes home happy and tired, which is a clear sign of a great time! I feel completely confident leaving my little Bella with him, knowing she is in great hands.”

About: I’ve spent my entire life with dogs—from childhood through today. I’m the devoted parent of two spoiled, deeply loved Chinese Crested dogs. I have experience working with different breeds, personalities and individual needs, including senior dogs. I have a flexible work schedule, and will have plenty of time to care for, play with and walk your dogs while they’re in my care. BOARDING In my world, dogs are family, not pets. Your furry family member will get the same love, attention, and yes, spoiling, that my own dogs enjoy every single day. They are welcome to sleep in the bed, on the couch or in any place that gives them comfort. I have a fully fenced yard that they can enjoy as well. I’ll follow your specialized instructions for feeding and other routines. You can expect to receive photos and updates while they’re with me. DOG WALKING I offer flexible dog walking services tailored to your pup’s needs—whether it’s a quick potty break, a leisurely stroll or an adventure. I will make sure they get the exercise, fresh air and attention they deserve while staying safe. DROP IN VISITS I’m able to handle feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care while keeping your pup happy and comfortable at home. You’ll get photo updates with each visit for peace of mind.
About: I’ve been caring for cats, kittens, dogs, and puppies for over 12 years. It started when I was young, helping family and friends with their pets, and naturally grew into fostering both puppies and adult dogs. Today, I live with a ragdoll cat, two mini schnauzer doggies, and regularly foster dogs. My 2 senior cats that I grew up with currently live with my mom. Every dog or puppy I foster and have in my home learns routines and tricks based on their needs. I’ve helped with leash training, crate and potty training, managing toy reactivity, and teaching commands like sit, shake, and touch. My pets get plenty of playtime, structure, and love and yours will too. I’m careful with pet introductions and always prioritize comfort and safety. I understand every animal is different and will listen closely to your concerns to provide personalized care. I also love sending regular photo and video updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and loved. I work from home, and I am pretty flexible on ensuring the care needed for your pet. I have a lot of time to spoil your pets! I have a fully fenced yard, and monitor pets when they are outside. I introduce pets slowly with positive association and ensure each pet is comfortable. I also have a fence to separate pets indoors if needed. When caring for friends/family's pets, I always ensure pets do not bolt out the door both when coming inside and leaving. When walking a pup, I always ensure their harness/collar is on correctly and have high reward treats/toys to ensure focus stays on me if there are distractions. I never overwhelm an animal and understand they take time to warm up, especially when it is my first time meeting them.

“I'm so glad I found Siyun! My senior boy did 8 days of daycare & was excited for drop-off each am with her. Siyun kept me informed & took great pictures. I would definitely recommend using her to anyone!”

“Marisa is great with communication, reliable and punctual. Balthor can be pretty aloof with strangers initially, but he had no issue warming up to Marisa. He gets so excited when he hears her walking up the stairs to go for a walk. I really appreciate her help and kindness. I highly recommend having Marisa take care of your furbabies!”

About: I've grown up with an array of animals and never stray from hard or dirty jobs. I am well versed in large and powerful dogs as they are all I have had growing up but that absolutely doesn't mean I won't take on the smaller ones. I have experience in home visits, walking, bathing, and ear cleaning to ensure your pet gets all the care they need! As of right now my schedule is wide open but eventually I will be needing to move to evening care. I will absolutely update and communicate when these needs change I want your pet to be the most comfortable they can be with me. If they need to be crated or need their own space I will be happy to oblige.
About: I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter with real, hands-on experience — I’ve had my dog for 10 years and I care for my two cats daily. I’m attentive, responsible, and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Pet care is already a natural part of my everyday routine. I take care of my two cats and my dog daily, from feeding and cleaning to giving them attention, playtime, and exercise. Because caring for animals is something I’m used to and genuinely enjoy, adding pet sitting into my schedule fits smoothly and feels like an extension of what I already do. At home, I take care of my pets by keeping them on a consistent routine—feeding them on time, cleaning their spaces, giving them playtime, exercise, and lots of attention. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved every day. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely, maintain their pet’s usual routine, and keep the environment clean and calm. Whether at home or in a client’s home, I focus on giving each pet the same patience, care, and respect I give my own.

“We were really lucky to have Monique look after our pup. She’s highly professional, friendly, reliable. Best of all, our pup loved her and we will definitely book Monique again in the future as well as recommend her to all of our friends.”

About: Growing up, we always had dogs in the house & my favorite pair were the Chihuahua & German shephard, together. My most recent experience was with our 13yr old Corgi who we recently lost due to illness. His last months included multiple medications so I have experience with pills, tablets, etc. While the thought of another dog is out of the question, I would love to give my attention to another animal, if only for a few hours a day. Tho I have no "professional" experience, four walks a day, every day, rain or shine, 365 days a year x 13 years I believe does qualify me to show some love to a deserving pet. Cats, that are friendly & cuddly but not super "standoff-ish" are great too, I just dont have as much experience with cats as much as I do dogs. I provide dependable drop-in visits and dog walking with a focus on consistency, communication, and keeping pets comfortable in their normal routine. I’m comfortable with both cats and dogs and experienced handling feeding, litter boxes, walks, and general check-ins. I understand how important it is to have someone reliable in your home or with your pets, so I make sure to follow instructions carefully and provide updates (during) & after every visit with photos. I’m flexible with scheduling and respond quickly to messages, including same-day requests when available. Currently, my availability is incredibly wide open. I can do mornings, afternoons or evenings whatever is needed. If at all possible, I prefer to keep my clients close in case something comes up plus it just makes things alot easier. I do own a car & drive just fyi. While we do have a fenced backyard, we're just not ready to board a pet here at our home just yet thanks for understanding. While doing a "drop-in" or a "walk", I will treat your pets as if they were my own. Same goes for your place of residence. My goal is for pet parents to return to their homes making it look like I wasn't there, except of course for your happy, well-fed & well taken care of furry buddies. If your dog just absolutely LOVES to play, I have a tendency to stay a bit longer, at no extra fee of course just cuz I love to play too.🙂
“McKenna was great with my pup and taking her for a walk so that my dog could get out while I was at work. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker in the area!”

“Benji had a great time with Lance and boarding dog friends! I also got plenty of pics, video and updates while traveling so it really put me at ease. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a true dog lover to take care of your pup!”

“Kristin was great to work with and she was very reliable and happy to have our dog in her home. She was very responsive and worked with us on any special needs for our dog. Kristin sent us pictures during the visit and kept us updated and was great about flexible drop off and pick up. We will definitely be using her again soon!”

“We boarded our dog Luna with Sara while we traveled for Christmas this year. Sara did great as always. Kept us updated with pictures. Luna is always excited to go there!”

“Doreen is the best dog sitter around! She is so good at getting dogs out of their shell and is just a fantastic person. We love taking our little pittie, Dobbs, to her house as he adores her and she always has such fun friends to introduce him to. We're just so greateful to have found her!”

“We were new to using this app and a little nervous about boarding our dog for the first time, but we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Our sitter was incredibly kind, communicative, and clearly made our dog feel at home. They send updates and videos which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. They were gracious enough to take him bec it was very last minute on a holiday weekend. It was obvious that our pup was relaxed, happy, and well cared for. We’re so grateful and would absolutely book with them again!”

“Gino watched our two BIG boys for a weekend and he was great!! He spoiled our dogs with lots of walks and sent regular picture updates. We will definitely be using Gino again in the future!”

“Marla is amazing! I received videos, photos and updates everyday. She responded quickly and took great care of my dog. My dog left very happy and had a good stay.”

“I strongly recommend Cyndi! I had a last-minute cancellation by another ROVER sitter, and found Cyndi who was willing to watch my dog for a week with very little notice. She took wonderful care of Jax and treated him like her own. Cyndi kept me updated by sending me photos. I knew my dog was in great hands.”

“This is our first time leaving Nigel with someone other than a family or friend and Samantha did great! She checked in and sent pictures throughout his stay. We love how she is a single dog home since Nigel is much more of a people person. Her home is very dog friendly and safe. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Our dog Tobi had a great time with Esther! He’s a super hyper active dog and can get anxious when we aren’t around. He seemed to do great under Esther’s care and had a great time with her dogs! Thank you for taking such great care of Tobi!”

“I can tell that Onyx had an amazing time with Ricardo and his wife. He had other friends to play with and they told me that he loved a ball that he was playing with. I am so happy that I found Ricardo for Onyx. I feel so at peace with leaving my pup with him.”
