“Kris was so helpful! All questions I asked were answered promptly and clearly, and while Aniol my nearly two year old dog stayed at Kris's family home, he seemed to have a safe and comfortable experience! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“This is our first time dropping our dog off to stay somewhere overnight. Dolly put all our nervousness to rest. She is very knowledgeable about dogs. It was evident from the videos and pictures she sent that our dog was having a great time! She got lots of exercise and play time, and we would gladly trust Dolly with her again. Our dog was not sure she wanted to leave when we came to pick her up!”

“It's been quite a while since we left our little boy with anyone other than family. We were a bit nervous initially how he would do with a bew peraon. We were very pleased with the care shown by Lisa during his stay. She was very atte tive to his needs and sent us lots of updates and pictures about how he was doing which helped ease our minds. We definitely recommend using Lisa if you need a Rover for your pooch.”

“Leslie provided an excellent boarding experience for our Frenchie, Kahi. My husband and I are always nervous to leave Kahi, but this time we felt more at ease knowing she was in great hands with Leslie. Leslie welcomed Kahi into her home and was knowledgable of what Kahi needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was diligent to provide daily updates and pictures. The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. We trusted Kahi was safe with Leslie which allowed us to enjoy our vacation. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Shawn and family took such great care of Pertie. They were so patient and loving with her while she adjusted to a new place. Their dog Hazel and her got along great. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing she was so well looked after. Shawn gave us updates with pictures everyday and was quick to respond. We would absolutely leave her with Shawn again in the future.”

“Lenore was absolutely fantastic—better than I could’ve hoped for, especially since it was a last-minute booking for 3 nights! She went above and beyond with our dog: videos, photos, long walks, feeding him special food since he wasn’t feeling his best, and just taking really good care of him. What stood out to me was how much time she genuinely spent with our dog. You can tell when someone’s just going through the motions, but not Lenore. She was present, communicative, and you could feel that she really cared. Her own dog—a 2-year-old lab-shepherd mix—played so well with ours. They got along like old pals, which was a huge relief during their time together. I’d trust Lenore again in a heartbeat.”

“Carl is simply amazing! He sent lots of pictures and was very flexible as I had to reschedule a couple times. He took our puppup for lots of walk as well. I’d definitely leave our Kobe with him again.”

“Susan was very communicative throughout the whole process. Our pup seemed to have a fantastic time and was well cared for. We appreciated the pictures sent while we were away. Definitely will have our pup stay with Susan again!”

“Ratih and her partner were so incredible with my dog. Super responsive, caring, accommodating, and nurturing. I felt so at ease leaving my boy with Ratih and would love to use her again in the future. Thank you, Ratih! ♥️”

“I want to start by saying that I am not a typical review'er but I am completely blown away with the care that was given to Goose. The amount of physical activity that was provided to Goose and the other dogs that were there was completly mind blowing. I have NEVER left my dog with anyone other then Doggie Day care building up for our trip to be away. Goose came back from her time away COMPLETLY stable and not even a single ounce of stress and she was there for 5 days. We have found our care giver for life!”

“Thank you Jeanette for taking Charlie for a first time sleepover. Hope to see you again. Our Mini Australian Shepard made it without us. You your very thoughtful and considerate of His needs.”

“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“So glad we found Chelsea on Rover. She was able to provide excellent care for our 10mon old pup that is fearful of new people. Most Kennels won't accept him. By the end of three days her calm and friendly demeanor rubbed off on him and they were friends. We love the photo update with happy puppy faces. We are grateful for the flexibility in time pick up and the last minute add on of our second dog.”

“Michelle was overly flexible and provided an amazing overnight for my pup. Provided lots of updates so i could see how my anxious dog would handle the new environment. Provides lots of active time and made a trip to the lake that was very much welcome. Would recommend Michelle again in a heartbeat!”

“Trinity did a great job of looking after our senior blind/diabetic dog. Kept us informed on how she was doing. She had no problems with her special feeding schedule and giving her the insulin injection.”

“We just used Gabriella for the first time and were beyond impressed. Our dog had a amazing time, she sent updates for peace of mind. Very responsive to communication. Would use her again next time we need to go away with peace of mind.”

“Strider had a great time with Erin and her pets and family. Erin did an excellent job updating me on his activities, and the photos showed him having a great time in lots of cool locations--playing, walking, getting along with other dogs, etc. Erin made the pick up and drop off very easy and stress free and I had no worries about his well being whatsoever. I think he probably misses all the activity and company now that he's back home with us! I would definitely book with Erin again.”

“Kendra was phenomenal with my our dog! We've used her services on another vacation about a year ago, and our dog definitely remembered! Clear communication with regular updates and photos. 10/10!”

“Rachel and her husband are amazing, compassionate people. They took amazing care of Peanut, giving him lots of love and cuddles and helping him run his little heart out in their huge yard. They have an amazing doggy paradise! I got lots of adorable updates and Peanut and Winter got along great :) would 100000% leave Peanut with them again!”

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. I will give your family member the respect and genuine kindness it deserves. Thank you for your consideration.

“Michael has watched our cat a couple times and is always a great sitter. He's on-time for feedings and checks in each visit with photos and a short update. Easy to communicate with and a great guy. Highly recommend!”

“Ryn is doing a good job getting to know and take care of our shy COVID cats, who still don't do well with strangers after never having met anyone during COVID. They are slowly warming up to her, which is very comforting to us while we are away.”

About: Hi there, I've been sitting for family and friends for a long time now and figured some other furry friends could use some company while their humans are away. Dogs and cats can have very different personalities, and I act accordingly for their needs and temperaments. If we need to go for a 5 mile run, so be it. If we just need to cuddle, I've got that down too. I have 3 shepherds of my own who are amazing but high energy, so I'm used to working those guys out. I also have grooming tools for any pup or cat that needs a good fresh coat and nails. I am also able to take your dog out to a 4 acre property that is fenced so they can be a free range dog for a bit

“Maddi was a great cat-sitter and we would most definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter. She was very communicative and kept us updated on how our cat was doing while we were away, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Maddi!”

About: I have always had a passion for animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, we love going on hikes, going to the park, basically anything. When I'm not at work, I'm always with my girls. I have worked in an animal shelter in the past, and I would love to get more experience working with animals. Who knows, this could be the direction I end up taking my career. I have a little bit of experience with house-sitting/dog-sitting. I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. My dogs are very friendly and I don't believe I have ever met another dog that they have not gotten along with. They are getting a little grumpy in their old age, but they’re still very sweet! I was working remote and was recently laid off due to outsourcing. So I am home with my dogs every day, we go on walks around our neighborhood and go to dog parks in the area. I have an unfenced yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are indoor/outdoor, and they are not shy with dogs. We keep dogs on a lead if they aren’t great off-leash and we have a good little spot to throw the ball.

Whether you’re working or vacationing, we’ll pop in to make sure your majestic kitty (or kitties) has/have a clean litter box, fresh food, and a fun session stalking their favorite toy. Let us shower your cat(s) with love (and respect their royal need for space, of course!) so you don’t have to worry one little bit! ✨
“Shyla was the best sitter I could have asked for! She went above and beyond in multiple ways, including being willing to do insulin injections and taking care of my cats' other complex medical needs. She was very communicative and left my place in perfect condition. My cats also didn't act like it was a big deal when I came home which is always a good sign!”

“We got a gem of a cat sitter in our first time use of Rover! Sean was great at handling our cat's medications and her fussy routine, plus he kindly watered our small garden. We look forward to engaging Sean for other trips.”

About: I grew up with cats, and have cleaned their litter, been there for vet appointments, given them medicine, went on car trips with cats. I love cats and enjoy spending time with them as well as playing with them! I understand that cats need space and to let them come to you instead of forcing them to cuddle, etc.

I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. “Kris is so wonderful! I had a very last minute change of plans and she was able to host my pup the next morning. 3 acres of fenced yard is just heaven for dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup there! Their little Rosie and my pup Freyja played so much and I got to take home a veryyyyyy exhausted puppy after a long day of work. I will DEFINITELY be going back.”

“Alexandra is a great! Highly recommend. Great communication and pictures my dog can be high maintenance as a loud husky and she handles him with ease and her husky as well is very sweet and well behaved.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

About: Animals are my passion, and I’ve devoted my life to helping them. I have 25 years of experience rescuing and fostering dogs and cats and volunteering at rescues. I’ve cared for hundreds of pets of all ages and temperaments, and I have plenty of experience helping animals with special health or behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication (pills or injections) or just some extra TLC, they’re in safe, loving hands. I do boarding and doggy day care for small dogs up to 25 lbs and senior pups (8 years+) up to 40 lbs. Caring for your pet is my full time job. I am available 7 days a week and at home 24/7 with the exception of occasional errands. My priority is your pet's safety and happiness, so I spend as much time with them as possible. I decided to start offering daycare and boarding after briefly working at a dog daycare, where I was appalled at the uncaring treatment the dogs received. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my top priorities, and I will go above and beyond to ensure they have a wonderful experience. Dogs stay cage-free during the day in a cozy lounge designed just for them, with a large tv that plays dog friendly shows, couches, beds, toys, dog puzzles and more. I also make homemade treats and food that your dog is welcome to while they stay here. We’ll also enjoy leashed adventures on my 2.5-acre property. Cats have their own spacious room with climbing trees, cozy beds, scratching posts, and large windows for bird-watching. If your pet needs quiet time or special care, I offer private spaces and tailor everything to their needs. I Your beloved pet is part of my family while they stay here, and they will always have my full attention. About: Update: Based in Bellingham Washington, currently looking to board/housesit for aniamals in Bellingham. I am a full time dog trainer and animal caretaker. I am also available for hire for canine training. I am in the process of receiving my national professional degree for Large and Small Animal Accupressure. I am also available for hire on the northern coast of Oregon, available for animal sitting in-home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well. So please, go on your next vacation with your mind at ease, knowing your pets are well cared for and are on a vacation of their very own at our beautiful farm in northern Bellingham, complete with acerage, rolling fields and plenty of room to run and play. Wishing you a beautiful day!

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“My pup has been going to visit Jeannette for a whole year now, and she's always happy and worn out when I pick her up! Jeannette is great at communicating and sending pics, as well. I always know my dog is well taken care of when she's there :)”

I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.
“Kendra was amazing! She is very kind and loving with pets. I received pictures of Princess throughout the day and Princess looked so happy! If you live in the Palm Springs area, or are visiting (like I was), and need someone to look after your fur babies, I would 100% recommend her. ❤️ Thank you, Kendra!”

“Karrin is great, super great communication on the app and in person. She sent pictures, although I didn’t get them because I didn’t have WiFi on the whale watching excursion most of the time, until later but she sent me a lot of them for the short amount of time they were with her. She took great care of them. They are looking forward to going back to see her and her puppy tomorrow and spending the night with them!!!”

I’m patient, caring, and attentive to each dog’s needs, whether that’s feeding, walking, or just giving them lots of playtime and attention. I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy while their owner is away. You can trust me to treat your pet like my own and keep them active, entertained, and well cared for.
About: As a kid I set up a dog walking business in my neighborhood and had a weekly schedule with all the dogs. I currently house sit a pair of cats most of the year so I can only do visits to other places, no boarding at my personal home I currently house sit 2 cats most of the year. I feed them morning and night and most of the week stay over through the night sometimes day to keep them company I do not do house sitting in my own home but I am happy to come to yours. I love playing, hiking, walking, running, and chillin!
“My little girl LOVED her and here helper I feel very secure in let Rovers sitter walk my little girl not only were they dependable and on time I would extremely recommend her Thank you so much”

About: I have 14+ years experience caring for dogs, cats, farm animals, reptiles, almost anything you can name. My family has always had pets and i grew up around animals and caring for them. Currently, we have 2 dogs, one cat, one Guinea pig, a corn snake and box turtle indoors, and 2 goats and 4 chickens outdoors. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns! I am a full time college student, with about 3 hours minimum outside of my home daily, excluding the weekends and Thursdays. I am still home the majority of the day, and recently have gotten more time at home. I often like to follow similar habits that pet owners show their own pets, as I think that is best. I will always follow directions carefully. I am always very gentle with animals, no matter the kind.
“We are so lucky to have found Aline to walk our Benji boy every week ❤️ Aline is so kind, communicative, and flexible with schedule changes. Her updates to me about Benji are filled with many cute pictures of Benny which help keep me at ease knowing he’s having lots of fun and being taken care of. Aline does not spare any details making sure I know where they walked, how his poop was, and if he behaved 😊 She also has experience with reactive dogs, which was an amazing bonus to us because Benji can be reactive around other big dogs— so we know he’s in good experienced hands with someone that knows how to handle his spicy side 🤣 We are thankful for Aline for taking care of our boy! ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of pets before, staying over at a clients house to care for them day and night. Getting up at specific times when they’re used to getting fed, taking dogs for walks, playing with them, brushing them, etc. I have loved animals since I was a kid, and have grown up with cats my whole life. I work part time as a nanny so some days I would be gone for a few hours but complete open availability in the evening. I have an unfenced yard not near a road. I live in an apartment with one roommate that is spacious and the apartment building is pet friendly!

“Jharna and Nikhil, took such good care of Neo. They took him on plenty of walks and tired him out. I got so many updates everyday about my dog and they treated Neo like their own. Neo was so excited to stay over at their place, it was like his own vacation. They are definitely our first pick! Thank you guys so much”

“She took great care of my Golden Retriever and sent daily photo updates. She also took my dog to the dog park and my dog came home happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with her again in the future!”

About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life and genuinely love spending time with them. These days, I have a dog of my own plus my partner's two dogs, (we all live here) so our house is always full of happy pups! My experience includes: • Experienced Rover doggy daycare provider • Experienced dog sitter outside of Rover • Raised in a hobby farm in WI • Caring for diabetic dogs that require strict feeding schedules and medication administration • Following detailed care instructions, dietary restrictions, and medication routines with great attention to detail My own dog has taught me a lot about allergies, sensitivities, and special care needs, so I understand how important it is to trust someone who will take your pet's unique requirements seriously. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, I'll make sure they receive attentive, loving care and are treated like part of the family. I work from home and have a large, fully fenced backyard with a high fence for added security. I also have a screened/mosquito-net door that allows me to keep the door open during the day while I work, giving the dogs easy access to fresh air and the yard while remaining safely enclosed. My desk has a full view of the backyard, so I can keep a close eye on everyone throughout the day. Of course, if you prefer that your dog not have access through the open screened door, I'm happy to keep the main door closed and follow whatever routine makes you most comfortable. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I'll treat your dog with the same care, attention, and affection that I give my own. -I work remotely Monday-Friday from 7-3:30 -I do tend to stay busy out of the house after 5pm for errands or a gym class a few times a week but no day is the same -Typically in the mountains one day out of the weekend I can be decently flexible during the week but I might NOT be the best fit if: -I can’t leave your dog at my house for 1.5 hours after work if I go to the gym or run an errand -If you need care past 8:00pm because that’s typically my bedtime… but I can be flexible. -Your dog doesn’t get along well with others …Otherwise, let’s do this! Other: -I live in the Roosevelt neighborhood in Bellingham -I will definitely send frequent updates and fun photos of your pet child while on pet duty -I am flexible so most things aren't a no but please reach out with questions about availability and I always do my best to respond ASAP House Fully fenced yard front and back 3 dogs live here My partner lives here too and we both are beyond careful with the dogs’ safety. We will love your dog like we love our 3 and yes, the gate is always secured :)
“I have to be honest, I was hesitant to leave my two best friends with a complete stranger. Addison didn’t feel like a stranger within 5 seconds of meeting him in person. Him and his family took such great care of my boys, and put my mind completely at ease while I was out of town for Christmas. Daily pictures and check-ins were sent to me unprompted, which I could not have been more appreciative of. Rover, I’m not sure if you read these reviews, but you have a gem in your hands with Addison. I will 100% be using Addison’s services in the future. Great guy, great family, and a great disposition around dogs.”

“We had a great experience with Cade watching our big energetic dog over Thanksgiving week. Cade was very communicative and shared lots of pictures of Sydney enjoying their large property and snuggling with the family. We had a better vacation knowing our pup was being well cared for and treated like family. We will book again.”
