“Kris was AMAZING. She was so flexible, so knowledgeable and caring, and I could tell that she took the best care of Cookie! Cookie came home happily exhausted from playing at her home, and we will absolutely book a stay with Kris next time we’re in the area!!”

“Dolly is so kind and always takes such good care of our special needs dog. We have used Dolly twice now and already have her booked for a 3rd stay. Super pleased with the care our dogs get with Dolly.”

“We highly recommend Lisa as a pet sitter! She took care of our dog, Mr. Beckett while we were out of town. Not only did she provide excellent care for Mr. Beckett, but she also went above and beyond to ensure he felt loved and comfortable while we were away. We enjoyed the daily texts and pictures showing us he was safe and having a great time. Our nervousness about leaving Mr. Beckett for the first time was greatly reduced after we saw how well he was doing with her. Lisa would take him and her dog Ollie on daily adventures at the local parks. He enjoyed playing with Ollie and seemed very happy there. We will gladly use Lisa’s services in the future, she is trustworthy, loving and very in tune to our dog’s needs.”

“Shawn and family took such great care of Pertie. They were so patient and loving with her while she adjusted to a new place. Their dog Hazel and her got along great. We were able to enjoy our time away knowing she was so well looked after. Shawn gave us updates with pictures everyday and was quick to respond. We would absolutely leave her with Shawn again in the future.”

“Leslie is Max’s most favorite pet sitter, and because of that mine. My dog is shy of humans and often other dogs. Max settled into Leslie’s home and bonded with both Leslie and her two dogs. It was a comfort to me knowing Max was happy while I was away.”

“Susan was very communicative throughout the whole process. Our pup seemed to have a fantastic time and was well cared for. We appreciated the pictures sent while we were away. Definitely will have our pup stay with Susan again!”

“Lenore was amazing! Very responsive and easy to communicate with. Her dog Rook is friendly and very well mannered. She has a fenced yard and is conveniently located. Kept me up to date throughout Fozzi’s stay and I got tons of pictures/videos!!!”

“Trinity was flexible with scheduling a meet and greet and adapting to some changes on our end. Our pup was comfortable in the space right away and excited to be back. Hoping she has a chance to visit again.”

“Carl was so great with Frankie, I am so happy to have found him to watch her when we are away. He sent photo updates and she looked so happy! Such a relief to have found someone where she feels right at home and is treated like family 🥰”

“Gabriella is an excellent dog sitter. My Maggie (dog) and Gabriella bonded instantly; from the moment I saw Maggie greeted her moving her tail and standing on her two legs; I knew i had chosen the right person to look after my dog. I received daily updates with photos while I was away, which gave me peace of mind. Thank you Gabriella. I recommend her immensely; if i could give her 10 stars; i would. I will ho back to her next time I go away.😃”

“Heather was absolutely amazing from start to finish. She was very easy to work with and went above and beyond with our doggy. She treated her as her own, and kept us updated with photos and text messages.”

“The best dog sitter I have ever had! Kind, loving and responsible. Michelle kept updates every day a few times including pictures and videos. Great communication with pets owners and very professional.”

“Bershka and Lionel are seriously the absolute best people to watch your furry friends! They love our cat almost as much as we do and we never have to worry when our cat is with them. Another successful visit on the books! Thank you so much for going above and beyond!”

“Jennifer took great care of our family member Blue. (As with some human family members, our canine family member can be a handful.). Jennifer worked with our requests and Blue’s nuances/personality. Couldn’t be more pleased that we found Jennifer and were fortunate to have Blue hang out in a great environment, with customized attention. Five stars.”

“So glad we found Chelsea on Rover. She was able to provide excellent care for our 10mon old pup that is fearful of new people. Most Kennels won't accept him. By the end of three days her calm and friendly demeanor rubbed off on him and they were friends. We love the photo update with happy puppy faces. We are grateful for the flexibility in time pick up and the last minute add on of our second dog.”

“Gemma came back happy and tired. We will definitely use Julie's help again. We've also received some photo updates which was great and made us feel she is in good hands.”

About: I am a dog lover, and have run, trained, and explored with dogs almost every day of my life! I have three dogs of my own, and have always had busy working dogs with me. I spend the majority of my personal time training dogs, and I have experience with reactive dogs, nervous dogs, and dogs with very, very high energy requirements, as well as your classic couch potatoes. My goal is to meet every dog where they are at and give them their very best day, whether that means taking them out on a big adventure, snuggling them, or letting them run wild on my 5 acres. I work full time as a teacher, and during the week can fit in dog walks or drop in visits in the mornings and evenings before or after work. My weekends are open to take dogs on adventures! When I am out on summer break June through August, I have full availability to wear out dogs. Dogs are always very closely supervised in your yard or mine (line of sight). We will work together to develop a plan if your dog participates in adventure days dependent on your dog’s individual needs. Options include: leash, long line, GPS collar, etc.
About: I have always had dogs! We live in the Silver Beach neighborhood and have recently lost our sweet little poodle and now that our children are grown and gone, I feel I can provide a safe, reliable, and fun space for dog parents who need a sitter. I am a homemaker who enjoys, hiking, and biking and being in the outdoors. I travel to see our son who is in college at UNC but for the most part am here in Bellingham and available for dog sitting. I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood with lots of trails near my house for off leash or if it’s more important, leashed walks. Also, I love doggie cuddles.
“Nikhil is an outstanding dog sitter. He took great care of my dog, Simba, ensuring he was well-loved and comfortable. Nikhil's excellent attention and care made Simba very happy. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.”

About: Years ago my Mother gave me a card. It said, “The more I know men the more I love my dog.” My family has always had dogs and cats too. Once having a discussion with my guy he said, “even the dog ranks higher than me!” A dog is more than a pet. They are a companion who loves unconditionally. Who is ready to play or not. Will always listen and never rejects a belly rub. I genuinely prefer canines over people. Recently read the book “Dog Sense.” There is so much more about these wonderful creatures that it should be required reading before anyone takes on the responsibility of owning a companion. I will give your family member the respect and genuine kindness it deserves. Thank you for your consideration.

“Michael took excellent care of my home and two cats while I was out of town. He is communicative, reliable, and easy going. Wonderful resource for folks with pets in Sudden Valley!”

“Ryn is doing a good job getting to know and take care of our shy COVID cats, who still don't do well with strangers after never having met anyone during COVID. They are slowly warming up to her, which is very comforting to us while we are away.”

“Lizz has been such a big help for our anxious 15-year-old cat. We so appreciate her skill and compassion when giving him his injections for arthritis, and her care and kindness have so helped our peace of mind knowing that he’s getting the care he needs.”

About: Hi there, I've been sitting for family and friends for a long time now and figured some other furry friends could use some company while their humans are away. Dogs and cats can have very different personalities, and I act accordingly for their needs and temperaments. If we need to go for a 5 mile run, so be it. If we just need to cuddle, I've got that down too. I have 3 shepherds of my own who are amazing but high energy, so I'm used to working those guys out. I also have grooming tools for any pup or cat that needs a good fresh coat and nails. I am also able to take your dog out to a 4 acre property that is fenced so they can be a free range dog for a bit
“Shyla was INCREDIBLE! I have a very demanding cat, Tiny and was extremely nervous about leaving her as I had never left her for that long. Shyla was amazing at housesitting for over two weeks, providing frequent updates and photos and was able to develop a bond with Tiny. Normally Tiny is angry when I come home from trips, but this time she seemed happy which was just an amazing thing to return to. Highly recommend Shyla, she is the best❤️”

“Amber is the best cat-sitter! It was such a relief to know I was leaving the cat with a caring person. Amber is extremely knowledgeable about animals and shared several great tips with me about how to address my cat's eating issues. I am really grateful to her, and will try to book her again next time I go away.”

“Maddi was a great cat-sitter and we would most definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a sitter. She was very communicative and kept us updated on how our cat was doing while we were away, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Maddi!”

About: I have always had a passion for animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, we love going on hikes, going to the park, basically anything. When I'm not at work, I'm always with my girls. I have worked in an animal shelter in the past, and I would love to get more experience working with animals. Who knows, this could be the direction I end up taking my career. I have a little bit of experience with house-sitting/dog-sitting. I am very comfortable handling multiple dogs at a time. My dogs are very friendly and I don't believe I have ever met another dog that they have not gotten along with. They are getting a little grumpy in their old age, but they’re still very sweet! I was working remote and was recently laid off due to outsourcing. So I am home with my dogs every day, we go on walks around our neighborhood and go to dog parks in the area. I have an unfenced yard and 2 dogs and 2 cats. My cats are indoor/outdoor, and they are not shy with dogs. We keep dogs on a lead if they aren’t great off-leash and we have a good little spot to throw the ball.
“We got a gem of a cat sitter in our first time use of Rover! Sean was great at handling our cat's medications and her fussy routine, plus he kindly watered our small garden. We look forward to engaging Sean for other trips.”
About: I’ve taken care of my boyfriends dog for the last several years, providing walks, baths, and routine feeding with medication. My boyfriend would be working with me to help take care of the dogs and ensure frequent potty breaks, walks and love. I’m currently working a job where I can work remotely as needed. My boyfriend also has the same work situation so we would be able to trade on and off to ensure plenty of time and care for your pup! We love to keep dogs busy with lots of love, attention, and walks. We also enjoy hikes on the weekend which is perfect for dogs that need a lot of activity. I’m currently working a job where I can work remotely as needed. My boyfriend also has the same work situation so we would be able to trade on and off to ensure full time and care for your pup! We make sure our home is clean and rid of any harmful chemicals or objects. We keep the yard nicely trimmed and clean. We buy new toys regularly to keep our pups entertained. We try to play tug of war as often as possible. We have a great neighborhood to walk dogs along with several local trails.
“Tabitha is very personable yet professional. I trust her in my home with my 2 cats. She is easy to communicate with and answers any questions that i have. I will use her in the future with any pets needs that i have. Highly recommend!❤❤”

About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!
About: Training my two aussie shepherd girls is a passion of mine, we herd sheep a couple times a week. I am proud to say I can keep up with them, although raising an aussie puppy is not for the faint of heart! They deserve adventures so I take them to new places with new smells and I would be happy to help your pup experience the world in a new way too! If you're not comfortable with that, they are safe in my home too 💚 Pet care is a full-time job and I treat it as such. Fur babies in my home get enrichment via toys, puzzles, treats and exercise- happy to train your doggo under 90lbs to use our treadmill! We go out to herd a few times a week and get outdoors every day, rain or shine :) My pets are my family. They deserve to be safe, healthy, and comfortable. I understand that it is a deep honor to afford them the freedom and attention they deserve and I dont take the responsibility lightly.
“Kris is so wonderful! I had a very last minute change of plans and she was able to host my pup the next morning. 3 acres of fenced yard is just heaven for dogs and I felt so comfortable leaving my pup there! Their little Rosie and my pup Freyja played so much and I got to take home a veryyyyyy exhausted puppy after a long day of work. I will DEFINITELY be going back.”

“I had a fantastic experience with Alex as Rune’s dog sitter. Rune had a great time playing with her dogs, and she has a lovely space that’s perfect for hosting. Alex was extremely responsive, communicative, and took great photos throughout. Overall, I felt very reassured and happy having Rune stay with her.”

About: My goal is to provide an environment where I would feel good about dropping my pup off at (they are our children after all!). My condo is small but there is no shortage of fuzzy blankets, pets, and walks! Besides my dog, I never host more than one dog in my home at a time. I adopted my dog from the shelter over 10 years ago and makes sure he had plenty of cozy places to sleep, snacks, and walks! I current work from home, so I’m generally around most of the day besides going for a run. I often run in the morning, during lunch, or after work but this can be flexible to suit the needs of the animals! If your dog can run I will happily take them on a run with the me! :) I adopted my sweet Fox (Chihuahua mix) from the Oregon Humane Society over 10 years ago and he has been my best bud always by my side through all of life’s ups and downs and moves across states! He is approximately 12-13 years old, friendly, calm, and loves people. I live in a small condo but very close to walking areas, a lake, and a dog park.

About: Animals are my passion, and I’ve devoted my life to helping them. I have 25 years of experience rescuing and fostering dogs and cats and volunteering at rescues. I’ve cared for hundreds of pets of all ages and temperaments, and I have plenty of experience helping animals with special health or behavioral needs. Whether your pet needs medication (pills or injections) or just some extra TLC, they’re in safe, loving hands. I do boarding and doggy day care for small dogs up to 25 lbs and senior pups (8 years+) up to 40 lbs. Caring for your pet is my full time job. I am available 7 days a week and at home 24/7 with the exception of occasional errands. My priority is your pet's safety and happiness, so I spend as much time with them as possible. Your pet's comfort and happiness are my top priorities, and I will go above and beyond to ensure they have a wonderful experience. Dogs stay cage-free during the day in a cozy lounge designed just for them, with a large tv that plays dog friendly shows, couches, beds, toys, dog puzzles and more. I also make homemade treats and food that your dog is welcome to while they stay here. We’ll also enjoy leashed adventures on my 2.5-acre property. Cats have their own spacious room with climbing trees, cozy beds, scratching posts, and large windows for bird-watching. If your pet needs quiet time or special care, I offer private spaces and tailor everything to their needs. I Your beloved pet is part of my family while they stay here, and they will always have my full attention. “My dog had a wonderful time with Addison! He was friendly and communicative during pickup, drop off, and during care. When I picked up I could tell Puck had a wonderful time and Addison shared fun stories about his day. I'm planning to use him as a regular sitter for my pup!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. I love spending time with them. I now have more time on my hands and would love to spend it caring for dogs who need some TLC. I had a senior pug who sadly rent over the rainbow bridge last year. The last few years she was with me, I had to give her medication, take care of her eyes and give her a special diet. I also had a lab who developed cancer and needed medication and a special diet. I feel I would be a perfect person to care for special needs dogs. I am retired so I have time to care for your pet from my home with frequent walks and/or bathroom breaks around our 5 acre property. I live on 5 acres. I do not have a fenced yard but take multiple walks throughout the day so your dog would be safely walked on a leash.

“Holly and her family took such great care of our dog, Dottie. I couldn't be happier with the process - from the first message to the meet & greet to the doggy day care date. Communication was clear and easy, and I felt that safety and care were well prioritized. Having that reassurance that your dog is in good hands is honestly priceless. The fact she had a great time with Archie is the cherry on top. Dottie is already passed out sleeping (on the couch - sorry!) from all the fun she had. Will definitely book again. Also thank you for all the photos during the visit! They were very comforting for this anxious dog mom.”

“Kendra was amazing! She is very kind and loving with pets. I received pictures of Princess throughout the day and Princess looked so happy! If you live in the Palm Springs area, or are visiting (like I was), and need someone to look after your fur babies, I would 100% recommend her. ❤️ Thank you, Kendra!”

About: Update: Based in Bellingham Washington, currently looking to board/housesit for aniamals in Bellingham. I am a full time dog trainer and animal caretaker. I am also available for hire for canine training. I am in the process of receiving my national professional degree for Large and Small Animal Accupressure. I am also available for hire on the northern coast of Oregon, available for animal sitting in-home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up caring for neighborhood pups, giving them daily walks and love which fueled my admiration for them. I love spending time with animals because of how much we learn from each other. I spent summers working on a farm where I learned to work with all animals - great and small. From draft horses to cattle to chinchillas to fish to llamas to birds and bunny rabbits - I have worked with many types of animals. With dogs, I have cared for and train dogs from dachshunds to Great Pyrenees and so many breeds in between. I have worked with animals for over 15 years time as a caretaker. I volunteer at an animal shelter where I get to work with lots of different breeds. I have experience working with dogs which need a little bit of extra help on their manners or that have come from an abusive situation, creating a calm and trusting atmosphere for them where they can thrive. I find that not just do I love spending time with animals but that I grow as a person working with them. I am also available for pet sitting of animals other then dogs, as well. So please, go on your next vacation with your mind at ease, knowing your pets are well cared for and are on a vacation of their very own at our beautiful farm in northern Bellingham, complete with acerage, rolling fields and plenty of room to run and play. Wishing you a beautiful day!
“We had a great experience! They were so caring with our dog — he warmed up to them right away. They took him for a walk, sent updates and photos, and kept us completely at ease. He was calm and happy the whole time. We’d definitely trust them again!”

Back in my hometown (Gold Bar, WA) I have two dogs that I adore, and I have been surrounded by animals my whole life! From hamsters to lizards, fish to dogs!!
About: As a kid I set up a dog walking business in my neighborhood and had a weekly schedule with all the dogs. I currently house sit a pair of cats most of the year so I can only do visits to other places, no boarding at my personal home I currently house sit 2 cats most of the year. I feed them morning and night and most of the week stay over through the night sometimes day to keep them company I do not do house sitting in my own home but I am happy to come to yours. I love playing, hiking, walking, running, and chillin!
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. As the daughter of two veterinarians, I grew up working in a veterinary clinic. More recently, I worked in a dog boarding facility, so I am comfortable caring for animals of all behavior types and physical conditions. I understand how important our pets are to us and I am eager to help ! I work another part time job, and my schedule gives me plenty of openings throughout the week to stop by. I am available Monday-Tuesday and Thursday-Saturday on most weeks, but my schedule is flexible. I have a car and am able and willing to drive to clients’ homes within a wide radius. I will treat your home with respect and will leave it cleaner than I left it, if you want. I cannot take care of animals in my own home but I am happy to drive to your home.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of many kinds since the age of 7. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to walk feed and bathe their pets. I work part time and so I’ll have plenty of time to walk and play with your dogs. I am available every day before 3pm including weekends. I have a fenced yard and an older lab to keep your dog company. A crate is also available. I am attentive and intuitive with animal’s needs.
About: I have 14+ years experience caring for dogs, cats, farm animals, reptiles, almost anything you can name. My family has always had pets and i grew up around animals and caring for them. Currently, we have 2 dogs, one cat, one Guinea pig, a corn snake and box turtle indoors, and 2 goats and 4 chickens outdoors. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns! I am a full time college student, with about 3 hours minimum outside of my home daily, excluding the weekends and Thursdays. I am still home the majority of the day, and recently have gotten more time at home. I often like to follow similar habits that pet owners show their own pets, as I think that is best. I will always follow directions carefully. I am always very gentle with animals, no matter the kind.
“Such an AMAZING dog walker! She really goes out of her way to provide a variety of good quality walks. She has sent me lots of pictures and videos. Will definitely rebook as our backup dog walker again in the future!”

About: I am a life-long animal lover that enjoys playing with and taking care of animals. I may like to play, but I will be strict when I need to be. I have been pet sitting for 10 years, both cats and dogs. I also owned a cat for 14 years, and I plan on getting another one someday. Your friend will be in safe hands with me. I am also able to look after any other animals that you may have, not just cats and dogs! when I walk your dog, I guarantee that we will take the safest route possible. I can even take care of your pets while you are out of town, as long as I can stay at your place. Your friend and I will have a great time together. I am available any time on the weekends and after 5pm on the weekdays. I work full time, but I will spend every possible minute with your pet. I will follow feeding, grooming, and routine instructions to the nth degree. You can count on me to keep your home clean while you're away.

“Dolly is so kind and always takes such good care of our special needs dog. We have used Dolly twice now and already have her booked for a 3rd stay. Super pleased with the care our dogs get with Dolly.”

“The best dog sitter I have ever had! Kind, loving and responsible. Michelle kept updates every day a few times including pictures and videos. Great communication with pets owners and very professional.”

“Nikhil is an outstanding dog sitter. He took great care of my dog, Simba, ensuring he was well-loved and comfortable. Nikhil's excellent attention and care made Simba very happy. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a reliable and compassionate dog sitter.”

“Adrienne was communicative and transparent with some anxiety our dog was experiencing, and was flexibile and willing to go out of her way to accomodate her. She sent regular videos and pictures, letting us know our dog was happy and busy while we were out of town. Would recommend 100%!”

“Laura was communicative and reliable in preparation and during our pup’s care. Felt she went above and beyond to ensure our dog was happy and well cared for, from pickup/drop off offerings to navigating our holiday travel/availability. Would recommend her!”

“We boarded at Kendra’s home which is clean and tidy. Kendra was communicative and clearly experienced with dogs, I would definitely book with her again.”

“Kristyn did a wonderful job at watching our puppy! She was very responsive and accommodating to our dogs needs. Communicated very well throughout the whole stay.”
