“I was a bit apprehensive to find someone to watch our10 month old lab through Rover. I spoke with several people who lacked communication and seemed a bit unreliable, ironically they had good ratings. On my last attempt I found Janessa and really happy I did. Our dogs are like our children so it was very important to us that we found someone who genuinely enjoy having our dog with them. We did a meet and greet before the actual boarding, which was really nice to see the space in which the dogs would use (fully fenced huge yard). She provided frequent updates of Nyx with photos, really helped put my mind to ease while we were traveling for 9 days. I will definitely be reaching out to Janessa again for our next trip!”

About: I have been pet sitting since high school for friends and family. Moved to Seattle and thought I should keep doing it. I was on rover for multiple years in west Seattle and then we had a baby and stopped for a while and only watched for friends and family, now we have moved to North Bend and our daughter is older and ready to get back to watching dogs again. She’s super sweet with everybody and loves all animals( even our cats)! We feel confident, taking care of a variety of pets and have experience in senior dog care, puppy stages, and everything in between!! as mentioned above I have a very flexible schedule ! I’m open most timings and most days! I love taking them on walks and playing with them! My puppy loves whenever anybody comes over!! I will try to make my schedule around the dog- trying to maintain a safe environment and keep them in their typical and normal routines !

I spoke with several people who lacked communication and seemed a bit unreliable, ironically they had good ratings. On my last attempt I found Janessa and really happy I did. Our dogs are like our children so it was very important to us that we found someone who genuinely enjoy having our dog with them. We did a meet and greet before the actual boarding, which was really nice to see the space in which the dogs would use (fully fenced huge yard). She provided frequent updates of Nyx with photos, really helped put my mind to ease while we were traveling for 9 days. I will definitely be reaching out to Janessa again for our next trip!”

About: I grew up around dogs, as my mother is an AKC handler, so raising puppies and caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I previously worked at a local animal hospital, where I gained hands-on experience and expanded my knowledge in animal care. Dogs have always been my passion, and I bring that experience, patience, and genuine love into every walk and interaction. I work part time so my schedule is flexible. I am available 7 days a week AM or PM! I also know some great spots that are fenced off and are perfect for some outdoor exercise. I’m able to come visit your home and care for your baby, as well as take baby out on an adventure for some exercise. I have a puppy that is very friendly so if your baby wants company they can have play dates!

My three fur babies are always around to help keep your dog active, social, and engaged throughout the day. Daily activity is a priority here—we’ll enjoy plenty of playtime in the yard along with one or two walks, depending on your dog’s needs and energy level. To help keep your pup comfortable and on their normal routine, I kindly ask that you: Pre-portion your dog’s food for their stay Include their usual feeding schedule Provide enough food for the entire visit Give clear, detailed instructions for any medications, if needed This helps me provide consistent, attentive care and ensures your dog feels right at home 🐶❤️ Also at drop off time I ask that you call or send me a message letting me know when you are 20 minutes away. When you arrive I will meet you and your fur baby on the front porch and I will take over care from there after you say good bye.
