“Our 16-year old part-feral kitty has a reputation among the many people who have known her - on both coasts of the U.S. - for her whole life. While having her own charm, she is touchy and extremely protective of her personal space. With vets, she is virtually un-treatable. So it was with some trepidation that we hired a complete stranger for the first time ever to look after her for over a week. Naomi impressed us with her professionalism and passion for winning over her charges. We gave her some pointers, crossed our fingers, and left the two of them to sort it out. Within only a couple days our cat went from hissing virulently and hiding for hours, to actually tolerating touch and engaging in play in Naomi's presence. We can't be more impressed and delighted. About: I have had animals literally my entire life including dogs, cats, hamsters, rats, birds, fish, and lizards. I currently have 2 dogs-a labradoodle named Axel that loves everyone and everything and a rescue pit mix named Winnie that loves dogs but is afraid of people, as well as 3 cats that live upstairs. Axel is very rambunctious and can get pretty excited at first but eventually mellows out. Winnie LOVES meeting new dogs and will do what I call the "pittie hop". I love animals and I feel that they are a part of the family. I (we) will treat your animal just like my own. If an animal comes to my home someone is almost always home to provide care, snuggles, and treats. I have experience with large breed dogs, specialty foods, older animals, and giving medications. We have a large, fenced yard for the dogs to run around and play. I do require that your pups be UTD on vaccinations and that they have basic obedience training. I do not take dogs in heat just because I have never personally dealt with that before. I look forward to working with you and your animals. One last note, I require a meet and greet with ALL new clients since I do have my own dogs to ensure everyone gets along, you as a pet parents feel comfortable, and the home now smells familiar for the next time your pup comes over. Thank you for taking the time to consider me to take care of you 4-legged family member. I am up at 4:30 am during the week and my husband is retired so we have lots of time to spend with your dog(s). We also have 2 teens at home that help so your fur babies will get plenty of love and attention. I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room to run and play. We also have a pretty set feeding schedule but can modify that if necessary.

About: I’ve been in a dog household since I was in middle school, and I’ve been the caretaker of as many as 5 dogs at a time. I am home from the summer from university and currently have an open schedule with many opportunities for dog care. I have availability 7 days a week with weekdays preferred. I love keeping pets company and spending time with them to make sure they can get their energy out. I am capable of taking multiple dogs at a time, but also can take out one at a time if necessary. I have good etiquette regarding doors and know how to watch so sneaky dogs don’t escape.

I am most consistently busy on Sundays and some weekday evenings due to church services and events, but I still maintain flexibility even during those times when needed. Outside of that, I have open availability throughout the week, which allows me to provide dependable, attentive care for pets, including drop-ins, walks, and check-ins as needed. I prioritize safety, trust, and respect when caring for pets in a client’s home. I understand how important it is for pets to stay comfortable in their familiar environment, and I follow all instructions closely to maintain their normal routine. I pay attention to details like feeding schedules, medication needs, leash safety, and secure doors and gates to ensure pets are always safe and accounted for. I treat each home with the same respect I would my own, keeping things clean, organized, and secure during every visit. I also want to note that I am not able to care for pets in my own home, as I do not have the space available, so all care will be provided in the client’s home where the pet is most comfortable.
About: I have taken care of my own pets (two cats and a dog), as well as those of my friends and neighbors since I was a child. I am experienced with reactive and anxious dogs, and am experienced in administering medication. I can take your dog on long walks (5+ miles) and hikes if that’s their thing. I will always give your pets the same care and affection I give my own! My work schedule is extremely flexible. Most of my work obligations are mid-morning, and the rest of my day/evening is free. I walk several miles per day on my own, and would love to bring your dog (or cat!) along with me. I will show your pet the same love and affection I give to my own pets. Your pet’s wellbeing and happiness are my top priority, and I will adjust my services to fit their individual needs.
