About: The first time I cared for cats was when a family friend went out of town when I was seven. I fell in love, and getting to spend time caring for cats while doing homework became my favorite gig as a teenager. I've had my own cat for close to four years, now. We originally adopted two rescues, but sadly our Pip-Boy had a terrible injury when he was found and it continued to cause him recurring problems until we finally made the impossible decision to put him down just one month before our first child was born in 2024. (I like to say he had to go when he did so he could give her last minute instructions for life.) In the last six months of his life we had medicine to administer that we got VERY good at giving him despite his vetrile hatred of said medicine. I'm comfortable giving medicine orally, including medicine that needs to stay in the cats mouth, and finding creative ways to hide it in food and water. I am also open to learning how to give injected medicine if you're willing to teach me. I love both playing with cats who enjoy that kind of human interaction and pretending not to pay any attention to those who prefer to exist in an alternate dimension. 😁

About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a teenager, and they've always held a special place in my life. I had my beloved dog, Chico, for 16 wonderful years before we eventually lost him to old age and health issues. Although he was small, he had a HUGE personality and was basically my sidekick. He went just about everywhere with me: dog parks, camping, hiking, beach adventures, road trips, and yes, probably more dog-friendly pubs than the average dog. 😂 At the beach, his absolute favorite activity was sniffing every single piece of driftwood like it contained critically important information. And after all those adventures, he was happiest snuggled up next to me under approximately 47 blankets. Caring for Chico through every stage of his life, from an energetic young pup all the way through his senior years, gave me firsthand experience with how much a dog's needs can change over time and how much love, patience, and companionship they deserve along the way. Over the years, I've also become the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone they trust with their dogs. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pup's personality because, as any dog person knows, they ALL have one! After 16 years with Chico, our home definitely feels a little too quiet without a dog in it. Getting to welcome other people's pups into our lives and give them some of that love we've been missing is something my whole family really enjoys. So while you're away, there's a pretty good chance your dog will be getting spoiled with attention over here. 🐾 My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to spend with the pups in my care! My main daily routine is getting my kids to and from the bus stop, which is close enough that we can easily walk when needed. I'm home throughout most of the day, so pets in my care won't be spending long stretches of time alone. I have plenty of flexibility for boarding, daycare, walks, and drop-ins, and I'm excited to fill some of that extra time caring for new furry friends! Your pet's safety and comfort will always come first! In my home, pups are welcomed into our everyday family life and treated like one of our own. We have a spacious, fully fenced backyard where they can safely get outside throughout the day. We currently don't have any pets of our own after losing our beloved dog, Chico, after 16 wonderful years together. We definitely miss having a pup around and love getting the chance to give our furry guests all that extra love and attention while they're here! I'll follow your dog's feeding, medication, potty, sleeping, and other care instructions as closely as possible. I also understand that some dogs settle in immediately while others need a little extra time and space to feel comfortable, and I'm happy to follow their lead. When caring for pets in your home, I'll treat your home and your pet with the same respect and care I'd want someone to show mine. I'll follow your instructions closely and always make sure doors, gates, and other areas are secure. And of course, expect photo updates! About: I have had pets my entire life dogs, cats, rabbits and horses. I am comfortable around every type of dog, however prefer to sit smaller dogs up to 25lbs. I have a mini dachshund who is 16 years old, who misses having friends around. I am familiar with puppies through seniors. I do work from home 4 days a week. Currently I have an unfenced yard, I use retractable leashes to maintain safety when outside. Your fur-baby will get daily walks and plenty of love. I work from home 4 days a week, giving me the opportunity to give your pet plenty of attention in an adults only home with one dog for companion time. We do daily walks around the neighborhood, in a wooded area or at Manchester state park. I don’t currently have a fenced yard, outdoor time will be on retractable leashes for potty breaks, time on the fenced deck, and daily walks using your pets regular leash. Should pets need to be left home unattended I will ensure everyone is in safe, separate locations close enough companionship but not mischief. Safety and well cared for is my goal.

About: We had a lot of dogs growing up in my family, basic command, hygiene and just love to have them around including my service dog. I usually walk my dog in the mornings and evenings, this will help me and my dog socializing and also doing some exercise during the walks. I take her to the park to play and sometimes to swim a little bit. I have my paperwork where I usually ask about any allergies, incapacity or any behavior that I need to be aware. What are the things they are allowed to eat and how many times they go out during the day. Basically pet care for me is on daily bases. Follow a healthy and comfortable routine for you and your doggo is important. Good food, exercise and socialization is the main key. For both of the locations I create an area with familiar smells, toys and treats. Provide long walks, play time and potty breaks as well.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple kinds of dogs and cats for family and friends ever since I was a little kid, and owned both kitties and doggies of different breeds most of my life. I’ve read a few training books for doggies, stayed multiple nights for pet sitting, volunteered at pet shops, worked at pet stores, handled kittens and puppies with care, worked with senior cats and dogs, as well as other barn animals as well! I am currently working a part time job in silverdale, usually around 20 hours a week. I work mostly night shifts from 4:30pm to 9:30pm, unless it’s a Sunday. Then I’ll work 10am-3pm. My shifts are always 5 hours, I usually work on the weekends and a few times on the weekdays. I always receive my schedule 2 weeks in advance, so I just need time to plan around that! I have experience with crating dogs and giving them daily medicines if needed, or any unique care. If there is ever at all an emergency situation, I will call you immediately while also taking your dog to the vet.

It’s a calm, loving environment where dogs feel safe and loved while you’re away. I choose thoughtful exercise and enrichment to keep them happy and give them plenty of opportunities to burn energy and excitement.
“Mike was a true gift during a very emotional and busy time. With family in town for my father’s funeral, I needed a peaceful place for my dog Bo to stay for a few days. Mike and Shari welcomed him into their beautiful, woodsy home—with picture windows that Bo immediately wanted to look out, and a calm, comforting vibe. About: I have cared for my own dog, Jolene for 4-years. She’s a well-tempered chocolate Labrador always eager to make best friends with your furry kid! Large green yard for fetch and zoomies, daily hikes can be included if preferred! I work remote full-time, Monday through Friday (8-5pm), however have plenty of time to provide bio-breaks, play-time, and walks! I have 2 large outdoor living spaces (deck and covered front porch) that are baby gated. Even when they’re inside, they will have the perks of being outside! Dogs are welcome to lounge on the decks benefiting from the sounds and smells of the forest. Large and laundered memory foam dog beds provided on the deck. Multiple water bowl stations throughout the house. Depending on your preference, I can take your loved one outside on a leash during the day for potty breaks and then take them to Strawberry Hill dog park for play-time / hiking trails OR if you trust your dogs command responsiveness, we can go and play outside off leash. House set 100-150’ off the road. Dogs never let outside unsupervised.
