“About 1-1/2 months ago, we brought in a stray cat who was very scared of everything. Unfortunately, we had previously planned a 10 day trip and so were concerned as to what to do about our new cat, Percy. We searched online and discovered Rover. Bridgette, who does pet sitting through Rover, agreed to be at our home over the 10 day period when we would be gone. We are grateful that Bridgette was able to stay 24 hours a day as Percy was just too new to be left alone for long periods of time. We were delighted with the work she did for us. She was very responsible and we felt comfortable leaving her in charge of our home and Percy. Bridgette is very sweet and soft-spoken which was perfect for our anxious cat. He was very wary of her and hid away for much of the time, but Bridgette continued to care for his needs, plus her presence in our home must have given him a sense of companionship. Dark, windy mountain roads, spotty cell reception, etc make pinning down exact travel plans a challenge. Ever accommodating, Jess understood this and was so kind and reassuring while I was away. I was upfront about being unsure of how long my hike would take. Well, it ended up taking much longer than I anticipated. About: Growing up on a hobby farm I've always owned cats, my family had 8 and I had 2 of my own. I've been taking care of cats of various ages since I was 10. About: I grew up on a farm with 2 labs and have always had a special love for the canine friends. Since I’ve moved to the city I’ve missed my dogs and taking them on walks so I thought I’d sign up for this and meet some dog friends that need some company, I love all types of breeds and sizes. High energy dogs are not a problem for me at all, as I love going on runs with dogs and also playing at the park. I work a couple blocks away from where I live so it wouldn’t be a problem for me to watch your dogs while at work, since I could pop in to check on them and feed/let them use the bathroom. I work close to home so I will always be 10-15 mins away and can pop in and check on the animals I set up to 3 times in a single workday before arriving home for the night. I have a little backyard area that is fenced off and also a park 4 blocks south of me, inside my apartment is all dog friendly and they are allowed on the furniture/beds

About: I grew up with golden retrievers and dobermans, and have a profound love for all dogs. I took a one year online and in person course for basic dog obedience training with Animal Behavior College. I enjoy taking my pups on hikes, swimming, and to parks where they can play. I also have chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats, rabbits, and geese! Animals are truly my passion, and my goal is to make my house feel like their home away from home. I'm a stay at home mom (I was previously a HS teacher), and my days are typically spent outdoors with my dogs and kiddos (weather permitting). So my schedule is very flexible! I have a fully fenced yard, and a house with plenty of room for the dogs to romp. Willing to do any thing that helps with dog's energy from walking to playing. At your house or mine. I live with my friend, on a 5 acre property, most is not fenced, there however is a small parcel with a fence behind the house for your dogs to run free with her 2 dogs who are very friendly with other dogs. Otherwise, there are cables for dogs that don't have good recall or likes to wander off. in the front yard. I do have a dog/cat bed ready to go, animals are allowed on my bed and stuff, unless the owners says otherwise, they will be allowed up. I also have some cat toys of my own your cats can play with. Same goes for dog toys, I bought some so the dogs had something to play with while here. If you pefer to bring your own go ahead! :) but only thing I really need you to bring is their food, food bowl and medication if they have any. 😊 Willing to do more than one week if needed. I love any kinds of dogs and cats. I live in Concrete Washington. If needed, willing to meet half way, but prefer for you to drop off/pick up at my house. There is no fencing but there is woods and neighbors where I live where they can run and play with me. I do live on a property in a SEPERATE housing from my friend who has 2 kids who’s 7/8 year old and has a dog. Her dog goes to work with her a lot and the kids goes to school so would not be home most of the day and again seperate housing your dog would stay at mine. the will kids leave the dog(s) alone unless they’re allowed to play with them or whatanot theyre very good with dogs. And will leave them alone if they’re told to I have toys for dogs in prepare of them as well as a dog bed. I do have a dog bed and some toys in preparation for dogs, they're allowed on my couch and bed if they are ar your own house. I also do have a designated fenced area for them to run and play, so I would be able to let them out to play and stuff as well as take them on walks a few times through out the day. I also have cats which I have a catio for them but still, please be aware of whether your dogs are friendly with them or not. And let me know ahead of time so I know whether to keep my cats in my house or in a different building with my friends cats while your pets are here.

About: I have had 20 years of one on one care of numerous different dogs and breeds. I have trained puppies and have done hospice care for my senior dogs. My love for dogs runs deeper than words can express. I have administrated medication in abundance of creative ways to administer. Walks and exercise is so important for the health of dogs and humans alike. It only takes about 5 minutes of time for dogs to get comfortable with me. About: Over the years I have dog sat, walked dogs for people with dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes. I have always taken pride in my care for my dogs and of course others as well. I currently don’t have a dog of my own as I am new to Bellingham, but I have a lot of experience with senior dogs as my first dog a 100lb malamute lived to be 16. I love big dogs, high energy dogs, small dogs. I am confident in my ability to handle all breeds energy and size! I work 4/ 10’s Monday through Thursday. Looking to fill my 3 day weekends with dog care! I will be available for dog sitting and dog walking every week Friday through Sunday. I like to get outside and walk and be active with my free time I live in a pet friendly condo with a large grassed dog friendly area and walking path behind the property. We have a fenced in balcony porch that the dog would have access to. Dogs would be allowed on furniture and bed. Care in clients home as well as mine will be followed as instructed to the T of owners request! Following precise owner instructions is vital when caring for others dogs.
