“Ratih and Lionel boarded my cat at the last minute and were so sweet and helpful throughout the process. Very good communication and they really made the whole experience very pleasant for me and for my cat. Thank you!!”

“Aarika was very responsive, polite and flexible. I felt that she was easily accessible. My pup was very happy and clearly well taken care of. It was clear to me that she treated him as if he was her own and that’s exactly what I’m looking for in a Dog Sitter . I almost don’t want to leave her a good review because I want to keep her services all to myself! Haha .”

“Amber was great and I know she took wonderful care of our cat and dog. She’s worked with many animals and it’s clear that she gives a lot of structure and care to each animal. We’d love to have her watch our animals again.”

“Jennifer was wonderful and so understanding that this was only the 2nd time my dog Charlie had been bordered. She kept me updated with photos. I’m sure her guinea pigs are happy Charlie went back home.”

“Jessica was fantastic! We had to leave town last minute and she was so accommodating and inviting. She was very attentive and active with his energy needs which was a major plus. She even brought our Mandu and one of her pups to Mt Spokane to go hiking! Would definitely recommend to anyone!”

“April so kind and caring when it came to my pup! I had to find care last minute, which caused a lot of stress for me. She soothed all my doubts and make sure my girl had a great stay. April is definitely somebody that I will book with for future boarding needs! :)”

“It mean so much knowing our dog is somewhere where he is loved and taken care of. Sherri takes care of our dog as well as we would and her communication is awesome. Lots of pictures and stories!”

“We left our two mini Aussies with Elaine for one week while on vacation. Elaine was very friendly and the dogs seemed to really enjoy their stay. She was quick to respond to our messages and checked in with us several times during the vacation to let us know how our dogs were doing and send photos. We’re so happy to have found Elaine and would love to book her again for any future boarding! Highly recommend :)”

“Our fur goblin Vivi had a fabulous stay with Kara and her pup Doc! Vivi is an energetic gal who loves play and walks, and had a good time with the toy basket at Kara’s place. We appreciated Kara’s updates, photos, and even a video of Vivi and Doc playing together. We felt very comfortable leaving Vivi in Kara’s care.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Our two dogs were so well cared for, and it was clear they were treated with love and attention the entire time. We appreciated the daily photos and updates. It made being away so much easier. We will absolutely be booking again with Danielle”

“Angela and her family have been amazing w our anxious girl, Sunny! Giving her lots of attention, letting her sleep w the kids at night, and going above and beyond figuring out how to get her to eat! Angela is a very warm, kind and compassionate person who really loves animals! They’re a great family and it’s so reassuring to know Sunny is happy there!”

About: I have had and trained dogs since I was 7 years old. My first dog was a Doberman and I’ve had multiple Rottweilers since then. I’ve also trained Staffies, Doodles, Pit Bulls, Labs, GSPs, Terriers and plenty of other breeds. I showed in 4-H for 12 years with my Dobie, a Staffy, three Rottweilers, and my dad’s deaf French Bulldog that I taught hand signals to. I have also showed in Rally, Obedience, Showmanship, and Confirmation through AKC since I was 9. My last Rottweiler, “Moxie” had almost 15 AKC obedience and companion titles by the time she passed away at 5 years old from lymphoma. I really enjoy working with reactive, aggressive, or headstrong dogs that are in need of a second chance though I am happy to train just about anything! I’ve also been housesitting and pet sitting intermittently since I got my license at 16! I am somewhat starting out when it comes to board and training so I don’t have a ton of reviews or referrals but I am hoping to build them here!! I work a couple of part time jobs as a barista where I take the dogs with me! I drive a VW Jetta TDI wagon and have mastered the technique to keep the car plenty cool during my shifts and I potty the dogs every two to four hours. I go on lots of hikes, frequent the beach, and have tons of toys to play with! I only work 5-6 hours at a time so I make sure to give them the enrichment they need before or after work. I have a studio mother-in-law style house with a large fenced backyard and crates/cots inside the house. If your dog is happy go lucky and laid back, they’ll be loose when I am home but when/if I’m not home, they’ll will be crated along with my dog. The house has fabulous ventilation and hasn’t ever been too hot during the summer or too cold during the winter. My dog is a very friendly four month old Rottweiler puppy. He is proofed around other dogs, cats, and children. I also frequently watch a 9 month old Rottweiler for a friend of mine. She is also proofed, and the most friendly, playful, and patient dog I have trained. I have the facilities to keep them apart upon request and they will never be left together unattended.
“Thank you, Liudmila, for taking care of our sweet puppy. She had a wonderful time with you and your family and came home such a happy, calm girl! I really appreciate all the love and care you gave her!”

“Brooke is an amazing dog sitter. She has a huge yard for Birdie and her new best friend Lambeau. Lots of photos and texts. Lots of walks and attention. Thank you again!”

“Kelsey and family are a lovely home for our little Yorkie. I appreciate having a local, quality dog sitting arrangement. I have no hesitation recommending Kelsey as a pet companion and home sitting service.”

“Morgan S. Was AMAZING!! Recommend 10/10. She kept me up to date on how my puppy did and even took extra care of a past injury of his. She sent lots of photos and was very response to any questions or messages I sent! Will be booking again for sure!”

“Lenore took great care of my dog. Scout and her dog, Rook, seemed to get along and it was great to know that she was staying in a “dog friendly house.” It can be hard to leave your dog behind with a stranger, but I felt confident that she would be well cared for.”

“Tyeler did a fantastic job watching the boys. The check ins were great and she didn’t hesitate to ask questions over chat. I look forward to having Tyeler watch the boys again and they seemed really happy as well when I got home.”

“Jessica is one of the kindest-hearted and thoughtful person you'd meet. In a world often focused on capitalism over humanity, she is a rare gem. I'll start by saying that I have never boarded my pets because they travel with me full-time, but when I have to do a very long backcountry hike in the Cascades over difficult terrain that doesn't allow pets, I was lucky to find Jess last-minute to host my kitty in case I get injured and can't return to him in a timely manner. Setting: Like-minded animal lovers always hold a special place in my heart. Here, you are not going to find an immaculate, more corporate type pet-sitting kennel setup. Instead, you will find a warm, loving home cared for full-time by Jess and her family. Jessica's home has many animals. In addition to dogs to cats, she also raises farm animals of various kinds. I have no idea how all the animals find ways to live largely harmoniously together, but when I first pulled up to her home, I was greeted by many of them :) Sitting service: traveling in and around the Cascades often requires flexibility. Dark, windy mountain roads, spotty cell reception, etc make pinning down exact travel plans a challenge. Ever accommodating, Jess understood this and was so kind and reassuring while I was away. If you book your pet with her, you may find that she doesn't just care for your pet; she takes the time to learn and understand your needs and offers help whenever she can. I was upfront about being unsure of how long my hike would take. Well, it ended up taking much longer than I anticipated. Not only did she work with me on the timing of pick-up, she was so kind to offer help/advice in other thoughtful ways. Booking: If you want to work with (and have your hard-earned dollars go toward supporting a local small business service), consider reaching out to Jessica, clearly communicate your needs/pet peeves. You won't be disappointed and will leave with a local friend.”

“Ratih and Lionel boarded my cat at the last minute and were so sweet and helpful throughout the process. Very good communication and they really made the whole experience very pleasant for me and for my cat. Thank you!!”

“Karolina has been a lifesaver for us this summer. She is very responsive, always sends photos, and is willing to go the distance (figurative and literally—we live pretty far off the beaten path). She took the time to get to know our kitty. I was surprised when Klaire, who is shy, was on Karolina’s lap by the third visit. Thank you, Karolina!”

“Jennifer took such great care of my dog Ziggy. She even gave him a bath and clipped his nails. We will definitely be using her again! We highly recommend Jennifer!”

“Amber took amazing care of Lili! This was my first Rover experience so naturally I was nervous. I was also worried because Amber had big dogs that I wasn't sure my dog would get along with. Well, I didn't need to worry at all! Amber's dogs are calm and very well trained and got along great with Lili. I LOVED getting pictures and updates. It is very clear that Amber is an experienced dog owner, and treated Lili like her own :) Lili got so much attention and love, will book again!”

“She took great care of my dog Damian! He came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Communication was smooth, and I really appreciated the updates. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone needing a reliable sitter.”

“Elaine took the best care of my girl. Sadie is old, overweight, and not in the best of health so having peace of mind that she’s well taken care of and having a fun day makes me feel less stressed about leaving her for the day.”
“Morgan was absolutely wonderful with Vader! You could tell he loved her. She walked him frequently and gave him lots of love and us lots of pics. Would absolutely highly recommend!!!”

“Leslie is awesome to work with. We started with a meet and greet and then Toast stayed with her for daycare. She was very communicative, and was wonderful with Toast. Sometimes he can get really excited and stressed with too much time with other dogs, but when I picked him up he was relaxed and happy. We'll totally book with her again.”

“Brooke was very communicative and my boy came home sooooo tired! She has a large yard where he zoomed with her dog and she walked him multiple times during the day! Thanks Brooke and Lambeau!”

“Katrina is a gem - quick responses, and was very easy going and willing to roll with it when I (embarrassingly) forgot my dog's bag of lunch, toys, etc. the first time I brought him over. I don't think he even missed his things, given how well her place is set up for dogs. The big, fenced back yard is a dream!”

About: I have recently moved from Nashville to Bellingham area. I have fostered over 60 dogs with Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue. I have dealt with multiple breeds as well as puppies and especially seniors with medical issues. I currently have a foster pug so I can house sit if I can bring her along or drop in. Your pups can also stay at my house. I work remotely so I can house sit, pet sit at anytime as long as I'm not going to be out of town or already booked. I will follow closely the directions given by the client. I have had dogs and I have competed internationally in horse competitions. I understand how people are particular about their pets.

About: I've been an animal person my whole life; from originally wanting to be a vet (decided to pivot due to the sadness that probably comes from being a vet) to caring for pets of my own. I've always felt I've been able to understand animals better than most people. I think it stems from my ability to innately understand their non-verbal communication. Hence, the Dolittle reference. A typical day in my home is calm, comfortable, and centered around the pet’s normal routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, a clean space, plenty of attention, and time to play or relax depending on their personality. I’m happy to follow any specific routines you have at home so your pet feels as comfortable and familiar as possible. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owner. I also pay close attention to their behavior and comfort level, giving them plenty of affection when they want it and space when they need it.
“Samantha and her family were great! Very welcoming and accommodating to my older dog quirks. The puppy really enjoyed playing with her friendly dog and it was a great socializing experience for him. I will definitely use her services again and recommend her without hesitation.”
“Angela and her family have been wonderful and communicative during Charlie’s first week of daycare. As it generally takes Charlie some time to settle into a new routine, this has been the smoothest transition I have had. 100% recommend Angela for daycare or pet sitting needs.”

About: I grew up with golden retrievers and dobermans, and have a profound love for all dogs. I took a one year online and in person course for basic dog obedience training with Animal Behavior College. I enjoy taking my pups on hikes, swimming, and to parks where they can play. I also have chickens, turkeys, ducks, goats, rabbits, and geese! Animals are truly my passion, and my goal is to make my house feel like their home away from home. I'm a stay at home mom (I was previously a HS teacher), and my days are typically spent outdoors with my dogs and kiddos (weather permitting). So my schedule is very flexible! I have a fully fenced yard, and a house with plenty of room for the dogs to romp. I also have a designated area for my cats, whenever they’re wanting to get away from the dogs, so for in home pet sitting, your cat(s) can have a safe place to decompress and not be overwhelmed with dogs. I can easily crate dogs if needed, but my dogs usually have free run of the house, and your dog(s) can too! My dogs get along with animals of all kinds, and are very gentle and friendly.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I’ve had this special bond with animals. I was always the one neighbors/familt friends would call to walk their dogs, feed their cats, or look after their birds and reptiles. It just came naturally to me, and I loved every minute of it. Those early experiences really sparked my passion for animal care. As I grew older, I wanted to make sure I was the best at what I do, so I took lots of courses in pet health, nutrition, and behavior. I believe every animal is unique and deserves personalized care, so I always try to understand their individual needs and personalities. Because of this, many pet owners trust me with their beloved animals, knowing they’re in good hands. I don’t just stick to the basics either. I’m known for going the extra mile, whether it’s staying up all night with a sick pet, finding the best toys and activities to keep them entertained, or just giving them lots of love and cuddles. My home often becomes a safe haven for animals in need, and I’m committed to making sure every pet I care for lives a happy, healthy life. Taking care of animals isn’t just a job for me; it’s a mission I’m truly passionate about. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing the transformation in the animals I care for. Whether it’s a rescue dog learning to trust again, a cat recovering from an illness, or a bird that starts to sing joyfully, each success story fuels my dedication. I’ve had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of animals, each with its own story and needs, and it’s always a privilege to be part of their journey. Over time, I’ve built a reputation in my community for being reliable, compassionate, and knowledgeable. Pet owners know they can count on me not just for basic care, but for a level of attention and love that makes a real difference. It’s not uncommon for me to receive updates and thank-you notes long after I’ve cared for someone’s pet, which always warms my heart and reaffirms why I do what I do. Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue expanding my knowledge and skills in animal care. There’s always something new to learn, and I’m committed to staying at the forefront of best practices in pet health and well-being. My goal is to keep providing top-notch care and to be a trusted resource for pet owners who want the very best for their furry, feathered, or scaly family members. I work as a veterinary assistant at a pet emergency center, where I interact with animals of all kinds on a daily basis. In this fast-paced environment, I have gained extensive experience handling emergencies, assisting with medical procedures, and administering medications. My role requires me to stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly to unexpected situations, and provide compassionate care to animals, no matter how challenging the circumstance. When I provide care for pets in a client’s home, my top priority is to maintain the pet’s daily routine and ensure their comfort, health, and safety. I take every measure to reduce stress, provide consistent care, and keep owners updated throughout the process. To achieve this, I follow the guidelines below: • Feeding & Hydration • Meals are provided according to the pet’s regular schedule and portion instructions. • Fresh water is checked and refilled at every visit. • Any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special feeding requirements are strictly followed. • Medication & Special Care • Prescription and over-the-counter medications are administered exactly as directed. • Detailed records are kept for medication administration. • Any ongoing medical conditions, treatments, or post-operative care instructions are carefully monitored and followed. • Exercise & Enrichment • Dogs are walked according to their energy level, leash behavior, and owner preferences. • Playtime and enrichment activities are provided to keep pets mentally and physically stimulated. • Safety protocols are always followed when outside the home (e.g., secure leashing, avoiding unsafe areas, monitoring for triggers). • Health & Behavior Monitoring • Pets are observed closely for any changes in appetite, energy level, behavior, or bathroom habits. • Any signs of illness, injury, or distress are documented and reported to the owner promptly. • If needed, emergency veterinary care will be sought in accordance with the owner’s instructions. • Home & Environment • Litter boxes, cages, or designated potty areas are cleaned and maintained as instructed. • Pet areas are kept tidy, and any accidents are cleaned appropriately. • I respect the client’s home and belongings, ensuring cleanliness and security during each visit. • Communication & Updates • Owners receive regular updates, including written notes, photos, or videos upon request. • Any concerns or questions are communicated promptly for transparency and peace of mind. • Emergency contact information is kept on hand at all times. By following these standards, I am able to provide reliable, professional, and compassionate care while ensuring each pet feels safe and loved in their own home.

“Brooke is an amazing dog sitter. She has a huge yard for Birdie and her new best friend Lambeau. Lots of photos and texts. Lots of walks and attention. Thank you again!”

“Katie is amazing! I have used Rover for years, and she is truly above and beyond. She's very intelligent, love animals, knows how to treat them and what they need, is calm and effective and reassuring and loving with my dogs. And they feel it. I really can't rate her highly enough. I can't say that after years of leaving various dogs for boarding in homes, her Home and her Care were above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. This is the first time I have left my rescue pups, one of them, blind, in a boarding home for several days. And it's truly the first time in all those years that I have not been anxious and worried about how my pups were doing. That is a level of trust and confidence I place in this woman. Thank you, katie! And thank you so much to your beautiful daughter for helping out and giving my pups lots of love Suzanne”

“Samantha took great care of my dog, Sky. I was a bit nervous about overnight boarding since it was our first time, but she made the experience completely stress-free. Sky was well cared for, and I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. I would definitely book with Samantha again!”

“Sheena and her family did a great job watching my 2 dogs for the week while we were on vacation. She was very communicative and provided daily updates and pictures. I will definitely be using Sheena again!”

“I am so very happy with Kayla and her Iris. They took such good care of Hotrod. I even get to come inside and in fenced backyard to see them play. Hotrod thinks its his second home now. He is so happy there. He has started acting like a puppy here again and we cant be happier. He starts crying a block away--he KNOWS where we are going!!! He runs right to the dog so happy. He runs in the house and is so excited. I try to come when kids are asleep on sleep overs because he is SOOOO happy and LOUD. HAHAHAHA”

“Avery went out of her way to make me and my blind dog feel comfortable. I came back to a dog who was well cared for and in as good of shape as when I dropped him off. I received several reassuring texts, photos and videos while gone. Cannot imagine a more comfortable experience for both my dog or myself. I am delighted to have found such a caring dog sitter.”

“Hayley was AWESOME! She went way above and beyond to take care of our pug. Super responsive, and sent lots of pics and updates while we were away. She even bought our pug a little toy, which she totally loves. We highly recommend Hayley. You’re the best! Thanks, Hayley!”

“Leslie provided an excellent boarding experience for our Frenchie, Kahi. My husband and I are always nervous to leave Kahi, but this time we felt more at ease knowing she was in great hands with Leslie. Leslie welcomed Kahi into her home and was knowledgable of what Kahi needed to feel safe and comfortable. She was diligent to provide daily updates and pictures. The pictures showed that Kahi was well-adjusted to Leslie’s home and having a great time playing and bonding with Leslie’s pups. We trusted Kahi was safe with Leslie which allowed us to enjoy our vacation. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Desmond was great with our pup Phoebe, we had a sitter cancel last minute and Desmond was so flexible with us to step in. Our pup has a lot of separation anxiety and he made her feel right at home, we knew from the pictures and updates he sent that he had earned her trust which is frankly not an easy task. Very grateful to have found Desmond and his sweet Fern and cat who are new fur friends to our girl! Will def utilize him as a sitter again.”
