As a large, energetic breed, German Shepherds can be a handful, but Rachel handles her with such confidence, care, and expertise. Bella always comes home happy, tired from plenty of play and walks, and clearly well-loved. Rachel is incredibly responsive—messages are answered quickly, and she keeps us updated every step of the way. The daily photo and video updates are a game-changer, showing Bella playing in the yard, cuddling, or just relaxing like she’s at home. She follows all our instructions perfectly (including feeding and exercise routines) and is super flexible; when our flights have been delayed or even canceled, she’s happily accommodated the changes without hesitation. About: I have taken of dogs since I was a kid. From big dogs, small dogs and everything in between. We currently don’t have dogs if our own and lost our last little man in 2025. We had 2 small Morkies. We recently moved from a lg property in TX where we took care of lots of fur friends often at once. While we have a smaller yard we miss our pups as well as the fun we had caring for other people’s furry kids. While I work full time my husband is now retired and we are ready to share our home with new friends. We do have to limit who we can care for to small dogs or non shedding bigger Doodles, so if your furry kid is less than 15lbs or is a larger non shedding breed or Doodle we’d love to meet them and be a safe place to leave your furry family members. My husband is retired so he typically spends his days gardening, fishing or working on projects around the house. Since we have both had pets our whole lives we are very comfortable caring for dogs and their needs. We have a small backyard and big indoor space downstairs for pups to lounge and chill. We also have a 15 year old who loves to cuddle with fur friends. We have a great neighborhood for walking dogs and enjoying taking walks as well so adding a dog or 2 is easy.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up. I have done everything from dog boarding, feeding, bathroom breaks and walks. I truly enjoy taking care of animals! I’m currently a stay at home mom with tons of available time! I’m available any weekday or weekend. Morning, afternoons and evenings! I have a 7 year old daughter who also loves animals and is very aware of their space. I live on 2-1/3 acres tucked away on a small private road. My Property does not have a fence however anytime the dogs are out I am supervising. I have a very large outdoor kennel as well. It’s an absolute dream for dogs who love to run around and play! I have an 8 year old mini Australian Shepherd who is full of energy so he can play all day with the super energetics dogs. Or they can have separate space if need be as well. I also have an entire living room dedicated to dogs where there are gates to keep them in. Comfy Chairs, couch and dog beds for them to lay on. For boarding We have dog crates that we can put in the living room or in a separate room if need be.

“I was so pleased to discover this option for boarding our dogs. When we met Christel before our stay I could tell she loves dogs and she’s good with them. I left feeling totally comfortable with them staying with Christel and her family for a long weekend. My dogs are big Great Pyrenees and Christel took them for walks and handled everything. She even set-up and took-down the huge sleeping crates we brought. During the trip Christel sent so many pictures and updates. My dogs were always smiling and playing and I could tell she loved having them. It felt like my doggies were at a sleep-away camp, they had so much fun! All throughout she was so easy to work with and flexible. Christel gave my dogs so much personal attention that I think they came back better trained than when I left them! My dogs had an amazing time in a big backyard where they played with their sweet resident dog and were loved by a family. It was perfect.”
