About: I’ve had pets my whole life growing up. I have done everything from dog boarding, feeding, bathroom breaks and walks. I truly enjoy taking care of animals! I have an 8 year old mini Australian Shepherd who is full of energy so he can play all day with the super energetics dogs. Or they can have separate space if need be as well. I also have an entire living room dedicated to dogs where there are gates to keep them in. Comfy Chairs, couch and dog beds for them to lay on. For boarding We have dog crates that we can put in the living room or in a separate room if need be.
About: I am an experienced obedience dog trainer who wishes for a work-life balance helping animals!! Animals have been my passion throughout my life, ranging from reptiles, rodents, to dogs. My goal is to further expand my knowledge in dog training and to learn everything there is to help guide me into more opportunities working with furballs! Having animals of my own, as well as having many in the family, has given me experience with handling. This is where I have learned and practiced skills such as dog training, intervening with disputes, administering medicine, and much more. I also love the outdoors, so hiking is something I love to do with my dogs to burn out their energy. During my experience at ABC (Animal Behavior College), I worked with trainers where I learned techniques for impulse control, reactivity, puppies, and even some service dog training. About: I have taken of dogs since I was a kid. From big dogs, small dogs and everything in between. We currently don’t have dogs if our own and lost our last little man in 2025. We had 2 small Morkies. We recently moved from a lg property in TX where we took care of lots of fur friends often at once. While we have a smaller yard we miss our pups as well as the fun we had caring for other people’s furry kids. While I work full time my husband is now retired and we are ready to share our home with new friends. We do have to limit who we can care for to small dogs or non shedding bigger Doodles, so if your furry kid is less than 15lbs or is a larger non shedding breed or Doodle we’d love to meet them and be a safe place to leave your furry family members. My husband is retired so he typically spends his days gardening, fishing or working on projects around the house. Since we have both had pets our whole lives we are very comfortable caring for dogs and their needs. We have a small backyard and big indoor space downstairs for pups to lounge and chill. We also have a 15 year old who loves to cuddle with fur friends. We have a great neighborhood for walking dogs and enjoying taking walks as well so adding a dog or 2 is easy.

It was our first time leaving Penny and they were amazing - extremely responsive from start to finish, made sure to get to know Penny and ask all the right questions in advance, sent daily photo updates, and kept us updated on how she was doing during her stay. Penny came home happy and healthy and it was clear she had a great time at their home. So thankful to have found Margaret and we will definitely be reaching out to her again!”

“This was Lola’s 3rd visit with Alexa. I trust that she’s in good hands when she’s with Alexa and I get random texts and pics of her antics (mainly furniture hogging) during her stay. We will continue using Alexa anytime we need a place for Lola to go while we’re out of town. Highly recommend!”

“Tyler watched our 2 year old mini Aussie Potato and it went so well!! He is so communicative, responsive, and reliable. Potato can be shy and sensitive to noises and he worked so well with her to make her feel comfortable. He took her on two long walks as well and played with her to make sure all her needs were met. I couldn’t recommend Tyler more!”
