She used the cat glove and got his trust.. and was then able to not only feed him but give him his twice daily meds.👍 She was very patient getting him to trust her. About: Growing up, my dad was allergic to anything with fur. Therefore, I had lizards, fish, birds and every stuffed animal under the sun. I always jumped at the opportunity to spend time with neighbor pets and would beg to give the dogs a bath (my neighbors loved me lol). At the age of 10 I got my first horse (who I still have, 16 years later) and at the age of 14 I got my first dog. He was a Catahoula named Kyser, and he was anything but easy! I lived out of state for 2 years, and during that time I worked at a veterinary clinic and did pet sitting for clients. I miss it! I work M-F 8am-4pm, so I am only available weekends for boarding (potential for weekdays depending on the dog/situation). I am available after work for drop ins or walks! I have a fenced yard with a large male dog named Ozzy. He loves little dogs and female large dogs. He is a bit standoffish with other large males so I am unable to watch them. I would rather play it safe. I would NEVER leave the dogs together unattended. Ozzy is crate trained and has his own room so stepping out of the house would not be an issue.

She kept us updated regularly with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear that both Romeo and Leo were happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout their stay. When we picked them up, they came back healthy, relaxed, and in great spirits. What really stood out was how accommodating Monica was with our constantly changing travel schedule. We also loved that she only boards a small number of dogs at a time (just two), so they get plenty of attention and care. “My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

Despite the heavy rain and 20 degrees weather, she took them out for walks and gave them extra attention. “Christel was absolutely amazing! It was our first time using rover and we weren’t sure how it would go but we needed to find care for our dog as we were flying home for thanksgiving. Christel met up with us beforehand to make sure Fennel was comfortable in her home and with her other dog which was great. During Fennel’s stay Christel sent us so many pictures and videos we knew Fennel was in great hands. She also took him on many walks and even a hike which Fennel loves. “First time using Rover and we lucked out with this last minute booking! Lana and her family are amazing. We were concerned about our Seabass being too anxious at night, but they made him feel very comfortable in their home. Their dog Amy is also very friendly. Seabass got to run around and play with Amy and her kids in their big backyard. He got to see their chickens and enjoyed a bonfire on his first night with them. I appreciate all the updates Lana sent us while we were away. We would definitely have our dog stay at their place again!”
