About: I've had experience taking care of both dogs and cats. My friends and family have often trusted me with taking care of their pets, which included feeding and walking them. With my former dog, I did basic training in commands (i.e. sit, stay, come) and know how to be firm when necessary. As a recent cat owner, I've learned the reins on taking care of a cat and how to live with one as well. Currently I'm freelancing, so I'm pretty flexible on availability with enough notice! Walking and playing with your pets is a fun activity I'm always down for. I can take care of cats and small dogs within my living space. I do not have a fenced backyard for dogs, however I am able to provide frequent walks and play time when needed due to my freelance schedule. I also have separate rooms if needed to cool off for stimulated pets.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell. Apollo looked like he had the best time. We'd love to have him stay with Tyler again the next time we need a dog sitter.”
About: Hi, I’m Katie. I spend my days helping people feel supported and understood, and I bring that same approach to caring for animals. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. My sidekick is Potato, a friendly young Vizsla who has taught me a lot about exercise, patience, routine, and the importance of a good nap. Through life with Potato, I’ve gained experience with high-energy dogs, daily walks, enrichment activities, basic training reinforcement, and paying attention to the little things that help dogs feel comfortable and secure. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or some extra company while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own dog. You’ll receive updates, my contact info, photos, and the peace of mind that your pet is in good hands. A typical day with Potato starts early. We head to the dog park in the morning so he can run, sniff, make friends, and generally conduct whatever important Vizsla business needs his attention that day. After a good round of zoomies, we come home for breakfast and a well-earned nap. The rest of the day is a balance of activity and relaxation. In the evening, we usually fit in another walk before settling in for a quiet night. Living with Potato has taught me how important routine, exercise, enrichment, rest, and affection are for happy dogs. Whether your dog loves adventures or prefers a slower pace, I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. My goal is to make them feel safe, cared for, and right at home while you’re away.
