I grew up surrounded by animals and animal lovers. When I was younger, I trained my German Shepherd puppy to master all her tricks, and when she got older and became incontinent due to her elderly age, I provided hands-on care—changing her diapers, cleaning up after her, and helping her with stairs and jumps she couldn’t manage anymore. It was heartbreaking, but she taught me that we have to enjoy every moment with our babies while we can. I’m typically the go-to person for friends and family when they need someone to look after their animals while they’re away— I think it’s because they know I'll be equally obsessed and caring with their pet as they are. My days as of now are wide open as I make this transition into the next phase of my life! Unfortunately, my apartment isn’t suitable for overnight stays, so I’m currently offering only day visits and walks. When I go to a client's house, I make sure doors, windows, and gates are closed and watch out for things pets might get into—like plants, small objects, or foods that aren’t good for them. Hazardous stuff like cleaning products or meds are kept out of reach. I’ll never let a dog off-leash unless it’s in a securely fenced area because I understand how one wrong move can lead to a lost or hurt animal.

About: I was raised with dogs since I was about 5 years old, and had cats since I was 10. I currently own two beautiful cats that I've had for about 5 years now. I have pet sat for others while in the military, and am excited to do so again! I quit my job so that I can attend college full-time. Until I start classes, I am completely free and available to care for animals. Once I start classes, I will still be able to pet sit and board on my off days and weekends. :) I live in a two bedroom condo with a green belt out back and several nice walking trails nearby. About: I've spent my whole life surrounded by dogs and caring for them. With my own dog, I used to take her on runs which was always the best. If you have a high energy pooch, I'm your guy! I also have walked more mellow dog, so I can take it slow as well. Whatever energy level your pet is at, I'm ready to match it so they can have a great time! :) Right now I'm working part time and my schedule is very flexible! Weekdays are when I'm mainly free but I'm open to weekends as well. When walking dogs, I'm aware of the dogs body language so that they can have a fun time exercising without being stressed. About: I love animals but have no fur babies of my own. So I really enjoy showering other people's pets with all the attention and scritches I have to give! I have taken care of all kinds of dogs; from chihuahuas to newfoundlands, puppies to seniors, beautiful mutts to regal standard poodles. I am self employed and typically don't work while I'm pet sitting, which gives me lots of flexibility and frees up my time for your fur babies. I stay with animals in their homes so they feel the most comfortable they can while their people are away. I'm fine with animals sleeping in bed with me if that's what their used to as well.

“Our high energy lab SAL knows a dog lover when she sees one! We get to Irey’s house and I’m dragged up the stairs to the front door. Needless to say I worry not when our dog is there. A clean loving environment where happy dogs abound! Great communication as well.”
