She regularly sent updates on how he was doing, and took him out for beach walks. We scheduled a meet and greet to make sure Milo would get along with her pups. They got along fabulously and her dogs are so affectionate and sweet. Maria is also flexible with arranging pick up and drop off times which is greatly appreciated. Milo usually has some trouble eating when he is away from me. Maria quickly figured out how to soothe his anxiety and got him to eat quickly. When I came back Milo was clearly happy to see me, but also looked like he had had fun, rest and lovely time. I will book with Maria again and again! I highly recommend her as a sitter.”

About: I moved from Mi to Wa in 2015 and decided in 2018 to be a dog walker. That was in King county and after moving to a house in 2021, dog boarding turned into my new side job. Last year I also enrolled in Victoria Stilwell’s Academy for positive training. So I am very aware of dog’s body language and needs. I absolutely love dogs and they are truly my life now but when I was 8 that wasn’t the case. I was bit in the face by a family friend’s dog. He was old and on medication, I startled him awake which led to him biting me. From this incident, I watched Victoria Stilwell on animal planet to get over my fear of bigger dogs and here I am today with a certification in dog training and starting my career with human’s best friend. My goal is for you and your dog to be as comfortable as possible. I only treat dogs/pets as I would want someone to treat mine (and believe me I am a high maintenance pet mom 😉) Dogs are my job. Whether it is boarding, sitting, or walking; this is what I do full time. Sometimes I do Instacart to get out a bit but will do that when my boyfriend is home. I am starting up my bath bomb business again so to have a companion working alongside with me is my ideal work day. My boyfriend works from home majority of the time, so there is always someone home. His kids do come over 50% of the week and are very kind and helpful with dogs that are boarding with me. They are 12 and 11 so they aren’t little kids. I have lick mats, Kong Gyro, and plenty of space for your dog to have fun at my house. My house is fenced in, we are updating the property all the time to make sure it is safe as possible. For larger dogs, I have a bell on a ziptie to put on your dog’s collar just so I can hear where they are at all times when I am outside with them. For smaller pups, I always go outside with them due to being in an open area so they are safe. I also have a 30’ leash that I can hook them to for extra safety. Inside, I make them as comfortable as possible. Whatever they like at home I try my best to provide at my house.
About: I have a 9 year old golden retriever, a 9 year old German Shepherd and a 9 month old Belgian Malinois puppy of my own and have many years of experience caring for friends and family’s animals as well. I have experience working with up to 15 dogs in a dog day care outdoor play setting as well!! I love all animals! I love to get out of the house and take my own dog out for walks, trips to the lake and hikes! I work very well with dogs and all animals, it brings me happiness to be able to take care of them. About: Currently work from home and have free time on my hands. I have had dogs my entire life and have 2 dog now (Frenchie & Pit mix) I am great with all sizes and can handle big dogs very well. About: I have been taking care of others pets for about 5 years now and have had family pets of the furry, feathered, and scaly varieties my entire life. I've mucked stalls, scooped poop, cleaned cat boxes, all of the not so glamorous parts, and have enjoyed walking, playing and spending quality time while meeting each furry friends every day needs. I currently have a French Bulldog named Sophie and a Leopard Gecko named Leo who I have loved taking care of every day! I am currently on summer vacation so I am free every day except for one vacation I have planned in August (which is blocked out on my calendar). I am able and willing to stay as many days as you need in your home any time of the week with your pets. I am very flexible with my schedule so I can extend stays if needed. I plan on getting a regularly scheduled job after summer so my schedule will be less open but after communication I can let you know if I am available or not. My basic pet care will include bringing pets to the bathroom about every 2-4 hours, feeding pets required amount told by owners, playing with pets multiple times a day, cleaning up after pets, and any other special care instructions given by owners. About: I've spent a few different winters working for a doggy daycare where you need to arrange a schedule for each dog to go walk and go play. Some days we would have forty plus dogs all needing care and attention. I've also volunteered a substantial amount on many organic farms and working with all sorts of animals, learning how to read different animal personalities and manage their care I currently work from home and on the side have picked up many gigs and different short term services to fill the gaps in my schedule. I have done approximately a dozen pet sitting and dog walking jobs on Rover and hope for more soon. I previously was taking care of dogs professionally at a dog day care. We will take long walks in the forest to watch birds and sniff around. I mostly have outdoor space as indoor space is limited to an RV and Camping area. Boarding and day care are in our fenced property. There are neighbors dogs that can visit the fence as well as chickens so I cannot accept dogs that might lash out to other animals. I have done animal care in various countries and for locals 20 years. I have all of the qualifications for taking excellent and quality care. I am all about spending time for your pets needs.
