“Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Belinda is an amazing dog caretaker. Very attentive to my floss the entire stay. She gives update everyday. My hound dog is so energetic and I could he got plenty of exercise with Belinda! Highly recommend!”

“Barbara is great! Outstanding communication from start to finish. And most importantly, our quirky little Molly seemed immediately at home. She can be unpredictable in her eating and eliminating habits, and also needs a daily medication but Barbara was understanding, patient and took it all in stride and I was fully confident that Molly was in good hands and we could enjoy our pet free holiday. I highly recommend her and she will be our first choice to care for Molly.”

“Elizabeth clearly loves dogs! She handles several at a time even on nice walks with them. She was super flexible with our drop off and pick up times. I appreciated a meet and greet at a local dog park where my dog could meet hers and both of us assess if it would be a good fit.”

“Our sitter Jan was marvelously accommodating!! Not only was she welcoming and considerate of all our dogs needs but was a genuinely sweet person. I could not recommend her more. Thank you Rover but mostly Jan!”

“Kim was awesome!! She took great care of Jasmine and sent me pictures daily & was in constant communication. I could tell Jasmine was having a great time and getting a lot of love.”

“Jennifer was really kind and upfront about caring for my dogs who have some anxiety. She has such knowledge and skill she could manage them with aplomb and it allows me to feel comfortable leaving them with her.”

“Cynthia was amazing! She sent lots of updates and pictures of my dog without me even asking. She took her on walks, and I could tell they were good because Kota was good and worn out. I highly recommend Cynthia and will rebook with her again.”

“Great experience using Lorelei to watch Coco for 5 days. She sent photos and videos of her playing with the other dogs. Upon arriving to pick Coco up, I could tell she had a good time because she was acting just like the other dogs. I would definitely use Lorelei again and recommend her to someone who needs a sitter”

“Stephenye watched Lola for a week and she took such great care of her. She sent daily updates with videos and pictures. Stephenye was very sweet about my anxiety around leaving Lola, and reassured me. I could tell Lola was very relaxed around her at the meet and greet. She also has two extremely sweet dogs who got along very well with Lola. Highly recommend her services!!”

“Susan is a delightful person and a very loving care giver to dogs. Our dog came home happy and tired. Susan sent us plenty of pictures, videos and updates and even gave us a harness because she felt it was a much better way to walk dogs so they don't pull and choke. We can tell that she loves every dog that comes into her home. There is plenty of room for them to play outside and she has made it very easy for the animals to go in and out on their own (which our dog seemed to enjoy). Thank you, Susan, for your loving care while we were away.”

“Elizabeth and her family were wonderful. Good and clear communication. Their 2 dogs were sweet and got along well with our Finley. When we picked him up, he was not stressed at all, in fact he seemed to have had a great time! We will utilize Elizabeth again when we are in the area. Highly recommend!”

“Once again, Sarah hits it out of the park!! We love having Sarah and family take care of our Lola. She loves it at their home and they do a really awesome job!! Highly recommend her!!”

“Alisha, Joshua, and family took wonderful care of our dog while our family was out of town for two weeks. We were nervous to leave her for so long but our nerves were immediately calmed when we met them and, further, received regular updates with sweet photos of our dog looking right at home with them. Alisha even went above and beyond and drove her home while we were navigating customs, long term parking shuttles, and the ferry home after a very long travel day coming from Southeast Asia. We had a happy, well cared for dog waiting for us when we arrived. Highly recommend this lovely family and will definitely reach out again for any future trips we need to take without our scruffy gal ❤️”

“Morgan was sooo easy to book with and made us feel so comfortable with leaving our puppy with her. She did an awesome job keeping us in the loop and even sent us a picture of our pup hanging out with hers. Highly recommend her !! 🤍”

“Peter took lots of pics and gave me lots of updates on how my dog was doing. It looks like she got lots of love and was happy in every pic. Plus he has super sweet dogs for your dog to play with. I would use Peter and his family as dog sitters again.”

“My "Ivy" is always happy to go to Lori & Gary's home. She gets good care. They have a beautiful home & fenced property that she can run in. I highly recommend Lori & Gary for excellent dog care!”

“Amy did a great job visiting our home and caring for our cat (Bullet) while we were away for four days. She sent great pics after every visit along with informative notes. We really appreciated all the little extras - she even watered our hanging basket twice one day because it was so hot. Everything looked great when we returned. We will definitely use Amy again and would highly recommend her!”

“Jennifer came twice a day to take care of our cat, Jack. She shared pictures, and communicated updates, and made me feel more comfortable being away for a few days. Will definitely use her services again!”

“Bevin left my house clean and tended, all linens washed and replaced, the garden watered and, most importantly, one kitty happy and well cared for. Alister obviously had lots of love and attention showered on him and I feel quite confident that if anything had gone wrong he would have received any care he needed. He's actually showing me when in the day he got love and snuggles, when he had playtime, and he's trying to tell me he had treats any time he asked - but I don't believe that. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bevin as a pet sitter, and will hire her again.”

“My pet is recovering from a pretty serious injury and surgery, so I was glad to find Chaselyn to be very knowledgeable and that she has a long veterinary history. She was comfortable dropping in and giving medication, checking his surgery site, and giving him a little company while I had to be out.”

Thank you for your consideration. ~Claudia I am a retired RN so your dog(s) would have me to keep them company all day along with our own 2 dogs (4 yr old Basset Hound and 8yr old English Springer Spaniel) who both neutered very dog friendly males. We have a lovely fully fenced 8+ acres property and comfy home for your dog(s) to have the run of along with our 2 dogs. We are both home all day and there is always someone here at all times. No dog is left home alone. We have a fully fenced 8 acre property with a four ft fence. Dogs are free to have access to entire property as well as free range indoors. We have a very comfortable home with a large wrap around deck and 5 exits. So it’s in/out all day as much as any dog wants/needs. About: I have had dogs my entire life and can't imagine life without them! Most of mine were rescues but I have a heart for all (also including cats, horses, donkeys, chickens). My 14-year-old hound mix Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge a few years and while he took a little bit of my heart with him, I really miss being with and caring for animals again. I have filled this need with pet sitting and volunteering at equine rescues and equine-assisted therapy non profits. If you want your big and little ones treated and loved just as you would do, I’m here. I’m a baby-on-the-sofa, next-to-me-in-bed kind of pet carer — and I’m happy to follow your rules if that means floors and crates (there’s still plenty of opportunity for love and affection). We will walk, play, snuggle and be as active as your pet needs. We can do car rides and doggy parks, visit friends, have play dates, go for puppucinos. I’m flexible, open, and want only for your pets to be as happy with me as they are when you’re home. I’m what I always looked for in my extensive use of pet sitters: dependable, committed, at home most of the time, and a true animal lover. I’m happy to administer meds as needed, have cared for my own senior dogs with limitations (deaf, dementia, physical limitations, hospice). I will not only care for your fur family as I would my own (which means a whole lotta of love, interaction, play, and attention), but I will care for your home in the same manner. I’m all grown up, mature, responsible, and reliable and have been a homeowner for years. Your home will be clean and maintained, ready for your return, and your pets will be cared for and happy to see you. I have been fortunate to have had at-home pet sitters who were superb. That’s what I wish to offer to someone else and their fur babies. Peace of mind, certainty that all is well, and confidence that their pets are safe, sound, and happy. I am retired from Emory University, so I am readily available. What Susan would like to know about your pet? Please let me know feeding habits, amounts, times. Normal bed/wake-up times. In and out times. Walking preferences, favorite toys, favorite activities. If there’s anything that scares or worries your pet, tell me. Medical history, let me know. Additional Skills Oral Medication Administration Special Needs Dog Experience Senior Dog Experience Cat care-also chickens and birds Can provide daily exercise. I am soon to be retired, work at home part-time and am finally fulfilling my passions-pet sitting, equine rescue volunteering and just bumming around. What could be better-dogs, horses and retirement? Your pet’s usual day is my day. Sleep late or not. Go for multiple brisk or leisurely (sniffing time!) walks. Lounge around at home or go for rides or to the doggy park. I’m flexible, open, and want only to make your little ones as happy as they can be without you.

About: Cats are creatures worthy of worship. And demand respect. Whatever age, they are always authentic and unapologetic. I deeply appreciate them, their intuition, instincts, and quirks. I have had them as companions, friends, and tended elder ones. I will happily do drop in visits for people with just cat(s)or both cat(s)and dog(s). My dog will not accompany me for any of my drop in visits.
About: I’ve had a pet (or 20) as long as I can remember but I’ve been working in the pet field professionally for 6 years now. Everything from fostering, pet care, dog training, dog walking & sitting, & working in a shelter. I also work with TNR everywhere I go. I love my scaly & feathered friends as well; I have experience across the board. I’m comfortable with bottle babies, seniors, pets with special needs (can administer most medications), & pets with high anxiety/reactivity. I ride horses professionally but only a few days a week so I have plenty of free time to tend to your pets and your home :) I strive to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible while you’re away! Whether that means sticking to a detailed schedule, maintaining training expectations, or simply providing extra playtime and cuddles, I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs. I’m happy to accommodate most special instructions and quirks that help your pet feel comfortable and secure.
About: I have babysat many of my friends pets. I like to take them on walks because not only do they get their exercise I also get mine. I like to play with them and see them be joyful causing me to smile. My parents also own a dog breeding business and as a kid I would help them also so I know quite about dogs (puppies). Hi! I’m a professional caregiver with experience caring for disabled adults and geriatric patients. My work has taught me the importance of patience, compassion, attentiveness, and treating every individual with the same care and respect I would want for my own family. I’m also currently pursuing my law degree, and while my career goals are important to me, caring for animals brings me a completely different kind of happiness and joy. I genuinely love being around pets and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, companionship, feeding, medication reminders, or simply some extra love and attention, I’m happy to help! I understand that pets are family, and I’ll treat your furry friend like one of my own. 🐾❤️ I care for every pet with patience, attention, and plenty of love. I follow each pet parent’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, routines, and any special needs. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. I also keep their space clean and make sure they receive plenty of companionship and attention. My professional caregiving experience with disabled adults and geriatric patients has taught me to be observant, dependable, and attentive to individual needs. I bring that same level of care to every pet I look after. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, loved, and cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️
“Margaret is the Best! She took very good care of my cat son Peanut. She even taught him how to “sit” on command. I trust Margaret in my home and in caring for my prescious Peanut. I highly recommend Margaret 😊”

About: I’ve taken care of cats my entire life. We had an older cat and also kittens as well. Cats are truly amazing I really love taking care of cats. I think my favorite part is training cats how to sit!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs consistently for the past 7 years! I’ve fed, administered medication, and walked many pups of all ages for family, friends, and clients! I’m currently living out in WA. My schedule has been super free typically all year around. During the winter I will fly to Boston for work then come back here a month or so after! My goal is to bring you peace of mind about your pups or pets! I can care for them in your home as I am currently renting at the moment.
About: So my name is Aydin and I’d consider myself a pet care & housesitting professional at this point. I’ve used TrustedHouseSitters and Rover for over a year not to live all around the Puget Sound basically for free. I’ve completed over 20 housesits and a handful of dog-walking gigs so far and managed to keep a 4.9 star overall rating😋 I care deeply about the animals I take care of and often grow a close bond to them☺️ I promise your pets and home are in good hands with me if you choose to hire me. I always send lots of pictures if requested and try to be on top of communication at all times. After doing this full time and truly falling in love with Seattle over the last year I’ve decided to get myself a small studio apartment there so I can have a space of my own and a real address😂 but I hope to continue doing rover with anyone who needs any help at all🫶 Currently I'm in Seattle petsitting a sweet cat from December 29th through February 5th. I'll be taking care of three dogs in Vancouver, WA in February. I provide as much enrichment for your pet as you'll allow! I love going on walks and runs with dogs, love taking dogs to the dog park and just letting them run around or chase their ball. I can provide bathroom breaks as frequently as you'd like, and I love giving treats to them often. I love cuddling and petting almost any animal, love playing tug, and just doing whatever makes them happy:)

“Dawn came to our rescue for a second time recently, when we needed a last-minute walk and feeding. Our boy was happy and in great spirits when we came home, and Dawn updated us with many photos so we knew he was well taken care of :)”

“Lauren had my dogs for the day while I went hiking and they couldn’t have been happier. They got tons of snuggles and some social time with other sweet dogs. I would most definitely use her again if we’re ever in the area!”

About: We have been pet people our entire 40+ years together. We have fostered pups and adopted many pups. Right now we have an older Bichon who loves all dogs! We are retired and love 2 daily hikes on our 3.3 acres in the country. Pups have a window seat to look out and enjoy sun bathing. Dogs are left alone for very short periods of time. Pups sleep near the people. Dogs love it here and we love dogs being here. Retired. I swim 3 days a week, but other than that.... I am home most every day...all day and night. We recently became a one dog home...Our old pup Nike was at least 17 years. Samson, the Bichon loves all dogs and welcomes them with open paws! Our home is safe for dogs and baby proofed for when Grandchildren visit. Safety first is very important standard we live by. We have a dog camera for when we are away at pool, or grocery store.
“Repeat customer here. We take our two dogs to Reagan and feel confident they are cared for! They are happy to go and happy when the return. I'm convinced my lab rather stay there most times. Which both breaks my heart and makes me feel good he is happy. Totally recommend!”

“First time ever leaving my nearly 7 year old Blue Heeler with a Rover sitter for the entire day. Damajah understood both my anxiety and my dog's and took excellent care to ensure a good day. She sent photos and a video!”

“Tyler was amazing! He was very helpful, flexible and easy to communicate with while setting up our booking for a day of pet sitting so that we could go on a whale watching cruise. His house is setup perfectly for watching a dog, and he provided plenty of exercise for our pup. We would 100% use Tyler again if we are back in the area.”

“Huge shoutout and gratitude to this wonderful family taking our Maddie while we explored the trails. He was so excited to go back today, and we can tell he was living his best life with his new puppy pals these past two days.”

About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.
“Michael watched our dog for the day while we were doing some local hikes that don't allow dogs. He was communicative and flexible. Very happy he was able to accommodate us at the last minute.”

About: Hello Pet Owners- I am a guy living in Shoreline. I am trying to come away from a 30 year career and work my way into a quiet, peace-filled retirement. Hopefully one filled with wonderful dogs. I have owned dogs virtually all of my life. They are my children, and are treated as such. I care deeply about them, their welfare, and their happiness. Over the years I have dealt with medications, blind dogs, cancer, three legged dogs, and wheelchair dogs like Gracie. My current dog, MoMo is sweet as pie, but quite lonely, and wants a few new companions. I live in Shoreline, and access two different dog parks for exercise and social activity. I drive a new pick-up truck so your dog will ride in comfort. I have both Venmo and PayPal, to make payments electronic and easy for everyone. I also have a fully fenced yard, if you and your dog are searching for warm, comfortable overnight accommodations. Please reply and we’ll discuss arrangements, rates, and build a system of comfort and exercise for your dog. I am trying to retire, which for me, involves lots of time with dogs. So I am readily available to care for your pets in a daily, weekly, or whatever basis works with your schedule. My dog, and so yours as well, will be well attended to. I don’t allow dogs on the furniture, and I prefer to not use cages, but am happy to if your dog is used to or prefers that type of structure to be comfy. I have plenty of dog beds for comfort, I use all naturally made and healthy dog treats. I have a fully fenced yard which is occasionally visited by brave squirrels, so activity and amusement is plentiful. There are a number of toys, ropes, balls, bones and other chew toys for those dogs who simply need some time to chew and think about life in general. Dogs are put out when they need it, and let in when it’s time to nap. Just as it should be.
“Leah is SO wonderful! She really helped me out on short notice. She is a great communicator, and helped feed my dog after his walk!! You’re in good hands with her. Thank you so much Leah for your help again!”

“Margaret is extremely conscientious and dedicated. She did say thorough call to understand my dog's behaviors and needs. Since Carly is a dog-reactive rescue with a traumatic history, and we have been working with a trainer, I am always reluctant to have someone new walking her. It's hard to be sure they will reinforce her training and ensure a calm walk, even if they encounter other dogs. Margaret made sure to understand and use the same equipment and commands and techniques we are using to give Carly the exercise she needed while my partner and I were sick. I would have no qualms having her house-sit and stay with Carly. I know she is trustworthy and genuinely cares about the animals she spends time with. I would highly recommend her for anyone, especially those who are nervous about their dogs with others. Carly is friendly and loves all people, and she has a little separation anxiety and more than a little territoriality around other dogs. And yet Margaret handled her expertly and lovingly, gaining both her trust and mine. She even suggested ways to help training progress with fewer treats and more praise as Carly improves her threshold around other dogs. Margaret not only came through on short notice, but she instantly built a relationship with both us and our dog which means she will be my go-to walker and sitter from now on.”

About: My personal dog and I have experience on high elevation mountains that are demanding physically and mentally. About: —~> Ask about Farm Animal Care <~— Spending time with animals is a gift. It is a joy to meet new furry friends and give them extra love while their caretakers are out adventuring or working. I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods. I like to chase sunsets and sunrises. All of which are more enjoyable with sweet creatures. I adore giving affection and opportunities to play for both cats and dogs. I have tended to a variety of different types of animals over the years. Some need ample one on one attention. Which I accommodate by giving them solo walks and separate meal times when requested. Others who loved to be social or had other animal roommates that needed plenty of outdoor time. Elder cats and dogs who needed extra special care, medication, fluids, and special diets. Dog and cat drop ins can make a world of difference for an animal navigating extended time away from their people/person. I give them all focused attention, consideration, bonding interactions and love. Dog walks are a vital key to their health and well being. It takes a village to tend to our critters too! Human and animal. I have many special spots for them to enjoy throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Including safe off leash areas when requested. I have a 7 year old dog, Hoodi. She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. Feel free to message me in booking about pricing for full time/part time farm care. Please note my pet sitting is limited to the Olympic Peninsula and Kitsap County. I pet sit most frequently in Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Blyn, Port Ludlow, Brinnon, Port Gamble, Quilcene, Chimacum, Port Hadlock, Irondale, and Marrowstone Island. Occasionally I will work in Port Angeles, Joyce, Forks, Queets, Poulsbo, Kingston, Bremerton, Bainbridge and Silverdale. I prefer extended house sits and like to build solid bonds with animals. I prioritize repeat clients. I have additional references outside of Rover. As many of my clients book me via word of mouth. This profile gives ease of access to my calendar. I currently work seasonally teaching art based school break kids camps and afterschool programing on the Olympic Peninsula. I spend the rest of my time making art from home and adventuring outdoors. This means I can have extended quality time with your pet(s) for walks and/or outdoor play and indoor care. Summer is my busiest season as a teacher. I have less availability during it. I believe maintaining routines and exercise is important for the physical and emotional well being of all animals. I will strive to uphold this and adapt my schedule as best as I can for your pet(s). I enjoy taking the time to communicate with you about your desires, concerns, texting check ins and sending sweet photos for your peace of mind. As every pet is an important family member. I know them to be kin.

“Aydin was incredibly responsive, flexible, and attentive to Moose! He went above and beyond to make sure he got the exercise that he needed while we were away, and seemed very capable of handling a larger, high energy dog like Moose. We loved getting all of the photos of Moose on their dog park outings and felt confident that he was in good hands!”
