About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12! I absolutely adore all animals. I have experience raising a puppy and have taken care of pets for many neighbors and friends! I’ll be sure to send you lots of photos of your fur babies and support them in their stay however they need! I’m available for boarding after 5pm on Thursday till Monday evening! I can take them out as many times as they need and give them constant love and attention! Taking care of your fur baby will be my top priority! About: Most people call me Josh. Dogs have always been my favorite animal and I've lived with them for most of my life. I am recently dog-free and I miss having dog energy in my house. I've raised two dogs through basic obedience to adulthood, one with a class, and one largely on my own. I am personally a big believer in the methods described in The Art of Raising a Puppy, because I have had excellent results with their techniques, but will of course prioritize whatever approach is preferred by owners. I am happy to help reinforce any basic obedience your dog may be working on, as well as senior dogs. I am comfortable with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Highly reactive dogs are not my favorite, but "highly reactive" can be subjective, so I will consider such dogs on a case by case basis. I am happy to work with dogs of varying activity levels, but extremely high-activity dogs will also be considered on a case-by-case basis. I am currently working from home and am available for dropoff in-home daycare most weekdays and dog boarding (including weekends). My schedule for my dog was three walks a day (morning, afternoon/dinnertime, bedtime) so that is what I'm used to, but I am happy to work with clients to discuss their routine and work with them to agree on an experience that fits their and their dog's needs. I currently have no other animals in my home, so your dog will get my full attention as needed. I don't have a fenced yard, but I am in a residential neighborhood with a good-sized park a block away. I am reasonably close to Seward Park and the Genesee dog park as well.

I like to help keep the home clean and safe by scooping litter boxes daily (sometimes twice per day), pick up wrappers or food items immediately, wipe paws if needed after walks, and keep doors locked and secure at all times 6. Respect their boundaries This is a big one for trust: I try not to force picking up or petting and watch for signs like tail flicking, hiding, freezing, or overstimulation. I let them decompress alone if needed. 7.
