About: I've been taking care of not just my own pets, but my families and friends since I was around 11! I got my first dog and cat around 6, and was responsible for feeding, walking, playing, and cleaning up after them at around 10. I also watch my friends cats often when they leave town, and take care of my older relatives pets when they need it! I love both cats and dogs, and I will make sure they get a lot of pets!! I'm currently living in Washington for the summer (im a student!) And so I have a lot of availability. I can pet-sit, walk dogs, or even just come and check in on your pets whenever works best for you! I have a lot of free-time while i'm here and would love to meet all of the dogs and cats I can!! (and other animals as well) I have my own family dog and cat that have been with me since age 6!! I have a lot of experience dealing with both. About: I have walked and have had overnight stays with my neighbors dogs for 6 years now. From big dogs to small dogs and even cats! I prefer no aggressive breeds(pits, shepherds, no huskies etc) I am pretty free during the week now that my daughter has started school. I am a musician also so I am out of town sometimes for shows and gigs, but I do have free time too! If I am not here my parents are wonderful at caring for dogs and have a ton experience so they can also watch your dogs. I don’t have a fenced yard, but I do have a big yard and there are great walking trails around my house. There is also a doggy park near by. One of the dogs I worked closely with, Donald, needed a trusted handler present while new volunteers learned how to walk him safely, and I helped train others so he could get the exercise and enrichment he deserved. I also helped start enrichment initiatives at the shelter, including treat puzzles, mental stimulation games, and a “dog play buddy” program to give the dogs additional socialization and activity.
