I had my last cat for 16 years, so I’m well aware of the full life cycle, kitten to senior and how different those stages may be. Now that I’m retired, I have something a busy pet sitter often can’t offer: **unhurried time** and can swish a cat toy with the best of them. I’m happy to spend time with your cat on their terms—whether that means playtime, a little conversation, sitting nearby while they do their thing, or settling in for some serious snuggling if that’s what they’re looking for. I’m attentive to their individual personalities and routines, and I’m not in a rush to get in and out. I’m a homeowner with a flexible schedule. I don’t administer medications, but I’m happy to handle the everyday care that helps your cat feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. My daughter and I did some cat sitting for a summer when she was in high school (Einsteins Pets) and took care of multiple cats, some that were love bugs and some that I just talked to under the bed. (My cat was more like the latter when we had sitters, so I didn’t take it personally; I just tried to be reassuring, talked to her when I was clean king up, and knew she was eating well, so that was that.) About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!

About: I have taken care of my own pets and those of friends and family when they go on vacation etc. i have all sorts of expiration e from sick animals to healthy ones and old dogs to puppies. I also love cats and kittens. I find it relaxing to play with animals! I currently have two cars and a dog of my own! I have a exotic short hair with eye problems that needs eye drops daily plus I feed all my animals twice a day! And take my dog for 3 walks! With love and affection! Animals deserve nothing but the best! I love to give treats and play with animals whatever makes them happy and trust me! About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. About: I've had experience taking care of both dogs and cats. My friends and family have often trusted me with taking care of their pets, which included feeding and walking them. With my former dog, I did basic training in commands (i.e. sit, stay, come) and know how to be firm when necessary. As a recent cat owner, I've learned the reins on taking care of a cat and how to live with one as well. Currently I'm freelancing, so I'm pretty flexible on availability with enough notice! Walking and playing with your pets is a fun activity I'm always down for. I can take care of cats and small dogs within my living space. I have a labrador of my own so there is a playmate for my guest dogs. I treat your dog like I treat mine- so basically they are spoiled! So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk
