“Elizabeth is great. Our GSD Chloe can be a lot, but with the daily walks and the perfect amount of dogs to play with Chloe came home happy and tired. Elizabeth was also super patient with Chloe and helped us figure out how to manage her nervous stomach while we were out of town. Super happy to leave Chloe with her pack!”

“Jenny was amazing. Everything we read in the reviews we experienced with her. She was extremely communicative, and gave our puppy Arlo tons of love, exercise, and support during his first experience away from us. We cannot thank her enough, we are very lucky to have met her! Thank you!”

“Conor is great! Our pup loves her stays at Conor's (this was her third booking). Conor has a few dogs of his own and a big backyard, and our dog loves the interaction and playtime that results. Conor is communicative and flexible, which we appreciate so much!”

“I was a last minute booking and Chelsea made it happen! My cat was a little stressed from the transition into a new space, but Chelsea was patient and updated me with photos. Would book again!”

“April is absolute magic! She is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and has created such a wonderful space for the dogs. We left our two dogs with her for four days and felt completely at ease the entire time. She kept us updated, shared helpful insights on how we can continue improving our dogs’ behavior, and took exceptional care of our fur babies. We are so grateful for her and will absolutely be using her again and again!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter! Our dog was so well cared for, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved receiving daily photo updates, which gave us peace of mind while we were away. We would absolutely book again. Highly recommend!”

“My dog Love is two years old and he is very anxious, he is a MaltiPoo. It took me a long time to find a reliable and loving pet sitter for him; Love and I are so blessed that we found Rosa and Jacob, they work from home so Love is never alone. Rosa is so caring, loving, patient with Love that I have so much peace of mind leaving Love with her. They walked Love regularly, they also cleaned his paws and his tears, they let him sleep with them which was a plus for Love. I am so thankful to Rosa and Jacob. I highly recommend them and will keep using their services forever! If I could give them 10 stars, I would do it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I also want to provide reviews about Haru! She is a sweet little girl, welcomed Love. She listens, have good manners and good energy. Love got along with her with no issues. Thank you Rosa, Jacob & Haru! You are amazing.”

“Sunny had the best time with Tenzin and his family. We got so many updates and it looks like he went on lots of walks and got lots of walks. Would highly recommend!”

“Charlie's second stay with Marlene was even better than his first - He came home happy and completely POOPED out from having too much fun ! Thank you, Marlene for the care you provide. I am completely as ease knowing Charlie is in your care.”

“Nancy watched our 3 yr old mini poodle for 2 weeks and gave us daily updates, usually by video. When Curly had a G.I. issue, Nancy let us know and coordinated with our Vet to resolve the issue. We were able to enjoy our vacation knowing our dog was in great hands. Curly was his normal self when we picked him up which is what we always hope for.”

“Kristen & Brian are awesome! They treated our pup just like family. It was such a relief to have them care for her, asking great questions & providing pics/updates throughout her stay. Very kind & considerate family - could not have asked for a better experience!!! :)”

“Bethany was wonderful. She took care of my senior dog, attended ti his needs and walked him often. She sent pictures and messages daily. Highly recommend booking with her”

“Alexa and her family were such great hosts and caretakers for our dog Bo - lovely to coordinate with and obviously provided a super good care. Could tell Bo was relaxed and happy from the regular photo/video updates. Will definitely try to rebook with Alexa again soon! 🐾 🦮❤️”

“So grateful we found Deidre! I don’t love having to leave behind my boy Eddie but Deidre made it so easy! She is a total dog lover which you can feel upon meeting her and very caring. Eddie was loved and happy while I was away, he enjoyed the beach, playing with toys and long naps. Thank you for taking such great care of our boy. Deidre will definitely be my go-to dog sitter for future trips.”

“I couldn’t believe how well my shy, anxious dog did with Mary! I was so worried to leave him for a whole week, especially with him being such a new rescue. He did amazing, and Mary sent lots of photos and videos to prove it 😁 she will definitely be a long term sitter for my pup!”

“ShuShu was great with Maya. She maintained her usual routine with walks and food and sent updates to us every day. Maya was well cared for and came back home happy ☺️ we will be booking with ShuShu again!”

“Another great experience with Katie! The last couple of times I’ve gone to pick up my dog, she has jumped back on Katie’s couch when it’s time for us to go. Safe to say she is well cared for and enjoys her time with Katie!”

“I highly recommend Cynthia and plan to book again soon!. Our pup had an excellent experience, especially for her first visit. Cynthia went above and beyond in every category, including communication and care, walking her daily, and even giving her a bath. She came home bright, happy and in beautiful condition with special treats. Cynthia is a warm, caring, and very responsible sitter, noting all details. Her emphasis on safety, and frequent photos were especially appreciated. Our pup was very well looked after in every way, thanks to the kindness of Cynthia!”

“It is such an incredible feeling to know your pets are taken care of to the best ability while you’re away! I don’t think my husband and I would have been able to fully enjoy our two week long international trip to the ability we did if we didn’t have Gracie(Gray) as a sitter! Thanks for being an awesome friend to us and our four kitties! 🐱🐱🐱🐱💟💟💟💟”

About: I work for an animal rescue and have two loving cats of my own! I am experienced with medication administration, kitten and senior cat care, and being a calm and patient presence for shy or spicy kitties. My career in animal welfare means I’ve seen it all and am happy to help you out with whatever you need.

“April was wonderful with our 3 cats and very communicative and responsive. We came home to happy kitties, a house cleaner than we left it, and beautiful flowers from April. 🌸🌸🌸”

“Deirdre really pays attention to the kitties in her care while Their Human is away! She always sends updates with any-everything I need to know. And photos to show what the furry ones are up to while I’m gone. I would recommend her highly and hope to see her again:).”

“We had a wonderful experience. Our sitter took great care of our cats, Cinnamon and Pumpkin. Cinnamon is very shy and had gone into hiding, but she took the time to search the whole house until she found him, which we greatly appreciated. It gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Everything was perfect when we got home, and we’re very grateful for the care and attention she gave our cats.”

About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. I would be so delighted to take care of your dog or cat! Whether that be for walks, check-ins or house sitting, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend my time with your pets. Their happiness and safety will always come first! I am currently a student at WSU, but I have a flexible schedule to take care of your furbabies. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I promise to always keep a close eye on your animals and monitor them on their behavior, and eating or drinking patterns to make sure nothing is out of the normal for your furbaby. I will always set a side a, if not multiple, chunks of time to ensure they are enriched with playtime. Please also let me know your pet's quirks, triggers, and/or medications that they might have or need, so I can be well equipped while they are in my care.

“Took great care of our kitties with a very last minute booking after another rover cancelled. Made time for meet and greet and left everything as expected. Would recommend!”

“Megan was absolutely wonderful with our cat! Each drop in visit came with photos where Rajaa was clearly enjoying the company, snuggles, and playtime. We will certainly rebook with Megan any time we can!”

About: I have been blessed to have a life surrounded by family and friend dogs and cats. I love all furry friends! I have attached pictures of some of the ones surrounding my life today. I also love learning of animal behavior to improve how we can communicate. I take their comfort very seriously, animals deserve respect! :) My current work is flexible and I will try my best to see your buddy when our schedules work. My weekends are flexible as well! I will follow all the rules and steps required to make you and your pet feel safe and secure. I am flexible and agreeable to most tasks!

“Jaimie is fabulous. My cat liked her immediately. She took lovely photos and kept me updated on my cat’s eating and litter activities, which I appreciated and made me feel confident that all was well. She made the right decision when faced with a mistake on my part. I trust Jaimie and would highly recommend her. You’d lucky to have her as a pet sitter!”

About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.
“Ella could not have been a better fit for my timid cat. While he wasn't much for playing, he did find the courage to come out from hiding to see her every day. So grateful for her kindness and patience in watching him while I enjoyed a much needed vacation.”

About: I have always loved dogs and cats, every since I can remember. Cuddles and kisses are a must, along with occasional beach trips, to change things up. I work 4 days a week and have 3 day weekends. I already help with dog sitting on occasion for friends, along with cats and even bunnies. I have a fully fenced yard, I love providing treats as long as pet parents give the ok. I love lists to help with being more organized and making sure I provide the service needed.
About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!
About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. Any time, currently I am unemployed and am taking classes online, so as long as I get a heads up I will be able to do whatever you need! I have a fenced place in a family and pet friendly neighborhood. I will figure out what else can be dog-proofed and to make sure that they is nothing they can get into.
About: I have taken care of my own pets and those of friends and family when they go on vacation etc. i have all sorts of expiration e from sick animals to healthy ones and old dogs to puppies. “Kimberly is wonderful! She has an awesome property for dogs to run around and play. She would provide constant updates with great pictures of Lila. She even cleaned Lila up after rolling around in the mud. I will be using Kimberly again!”

About: I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal rescue. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉
About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.
“Lauren was great! She was flexible on the drop off and pick up, and we were able to enjoy our day without worries. She sent a few pictures throughout the day and let us know the dogs were doing well.”

About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.
“Annette is a treasure. Her experience and love for dogs made the day visit for our 2 mini poodles a success. She kept us updated, she followed all instructions and provided numerous pictures and updates. Her after visit report was detailed and quite useful. We would recommend her highly!”

“Rachael is amazing, my dogs had a great day. They came home refreshed and ready to nap. Rachael also provided photos of their stay with updates. I Look forward to booking again and highly recommend.”

“Anita took such great care of Lucy. I loved all the photos she provided. She has clear communication and checked in with me about Lucy throughout the day. She even gave Lucy some added food and that was so kind and I know Lucy is grateful. It truly shows that she’s great with dogs as she also hosted another puppy with Lucy and they got along great. I’m thankful that Anita provided such good care of Lucy.”

About: I've had experience taking care of both dogs and cats. My friends and family have often trusted me with taking care of their pets, which included feeding and walking them. With my former dog, I did basic training in commands (i.e. sit, stay, come) and know how to be firm when necessary. As a recent cat owner, I've learned the reins on taking care of a cat and how to live with one as well. Currently I'm freelancing, so I'm pretty flexible on availability with enough notice! Walking and playing with your pets is a fun activity I'm always down for. I can take care of cats and small dogs within my living space. I do not have a fenced backyard for dogs, however I am able to provide frequent walks and play time when needed due to my freelance schedule. I also have separate rooms if needed to cool off for stimulated pets.
“Conor took excellent care of Haru today and even brought her to the dog park. He shared photos and videos throughout the day, which gave me great peace of mind. Haru clearly had a wonderful time and is a happy, tired pup now :)”

About: I have 10+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, including owning and taking care of a high-energy German Shepherd, Pittie and Terrier mix. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.

“Jaimie was fantastic! Supper attentive to my dog Maverick, especially since he is on specific precautions after his TPLO surgery. She was super responsive and was so good with him, would definitely recommend!!”

About: Lifelong dog lover with years of hands-on experience! I grew up with multiple dogs and have spent years walking and caring for pets, including overnight stays. I’m comfortable with different routines, energy levels, and personalities—and I always make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. Mondays–Wednesdays are my off days and my most flexible time. I work Thursday–Sunday afternoons starting around 2, and my mornings are usually reserved for staying active—walks, workouts, or anything that gets me moving. I don’t have pets currently, but I’ve grown up caring for family and friends’ dogs and I’m comfortable with most breeds, prioritizing calm, safe, attentive care.
“Katie was absolutely amazing with our Doberman puppy. Our puppy is very fearful of people and can be a challenge but Katie had no issues developing trust between them and becoming her friend. 10/10 rating for Katie! She is the best!”

About: Ive grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I spent a lot of time with my cousin being a breeder taking her dogs to shows, I have learned how to take care of dogs and how to approach the ones that can be a handful at times. I work a full time Monday- friday job but on my lunches I can stop by for check ins and walks and after work as well. Weekends are always open too. If doing check ins I can clean up any accidents and make sure they are fed and have water(depending on feeding schedules) and I always have local parks and routes pre planned for a good walk

About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs!

“Conor is great! Our pup loves her stays at Conor's (this was her third booking). Conor has a few dogs of his own and a big backyard, and our dog loves the interaction and playtime that results. Conor is communicative and flexible, which we appreciate so much!”

“Kristen & Brian are awesome! They treated our pup just like family. It was such a relief to have them care for her, asking great questions & providing pics/updates throughout her stay. Very kind & considerate family - could not have asked for a better experience!!! :)”

“Alexa and her family were such great hosts and caretakers for our dog Bo - lovely to coordinate with and obviously provided a super good care. Could tell Bo was relaxed and happy from the regular photo/video updates. Will definitely try to rebook with Alexa again soon! 🐾 🦮❤️”

“My dogs mean everything to me and it can be difficult to find a dog sitter who understands the assignment. Allison understood the assignment. My girls are 10 years apart in age are different in temperament and personality. To me, it doesn’t take a lot to care for them but I never know if that is different in the eyes of the sitter. Allison welcomed them both into her home and cared for them just as I would. She provided updates and photos throughout the stay. She was also flexible in drop off time as I had a brain fart when initially booking the stay. I will definitely choose Allison again for future stays!”

“Catherine and her family were absolutely wonderful with our lil guy, Ruffles. They were responsive, followed the care instructions, and sent multiple pictures and updates daily! We will definitely book with them again”

“This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter for our dog, Apollo. Tyler was the best person we could have asked for. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell. Apollo looked like he had the best time. We'd love to have him stay with Tyler again the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“Millie had a great experience with Theresa and her pack. Fun to know she was with dogs and kids that enjoyed her company. Updates and photos assured us she was getting all the love, play and cuddles she needed while we were away. We’ll definitely leave our pup with Theresa and family again!”

“The girls had a great time with Elana! We got periodic photo updates during their stay which was a sweet touch. They also came back ready for a nap so I'm sure they got some good walks.”

“Anita is a very wonderful sitter, took care of my doggo like her own, played with her when he did not want to walk, gave him home made food and took him on long walks. She shared lots of updates too.”

“Melody is awesome! She sent me tons of pictures and even took my dog to Mudbay. My dog was very at home there, got her own dog bed, and was able to cuddle on the couch for movie time. I would highly recommend Melody :)”

“Ali and her family were great. She was friendly, easy to work with, accommodating, and it’s obvious from the notes and photos we received every day that the whole family cared about her.”

“Sheri was great. She made sure to send us pictures daily while also making sure our dog got a ton of exercise and attention. Our chocolate lab Daisy and her chocolate lab Sam got along great. She also made sure to clean our dog's ears every day for us since she was having issues with a yeast infection from playing in the ocean. I would recommend her for everybody. ”
