Highly-rated overnight sitters - Austin
“Matt and Sander watched Vanity for two nights. They are very kind, caring and truly are animal people. I felt very comfortable leaving our baby girl at their home. We got text messaged pictures showing Vanity playing at the park and having a good time. I would highly recommend Matt and Sander to other dog owners that want good quality sitters. Matt and Sander have now become our GO TO sitters. Thanks guys!”
“We just picked up our dogs and they’re SO tired! No weird dog smell and they seem so happy. We got pictures daily and loved to see our babes having fun. Very pleased with Rachael and fam and we’ll for sure use them again. 10/10 referring to everyone!”

“This was our first time leaving our 6-month-old Miniature Schnauzer, Shiro, for a vacation, and Jenny gave us absolute peace of mind from start to finish. Her communication is phenomenal. Throughout the weekend, she sent us tons of pictures and videos, along with incredibly thoughtful, detailed updates on his day. It was so reassuring to hear how calmly he settled into her home. Jenny strictly followed all of his specific feeding routines and kept him engaged with training, play, and lovely walks. What truly sets Jenny apart is how she goes above and beyond. It was an absolute pleasure having her care for him, and we will definitely be booking with her again in the future.”

“Thank you so much David! Ranger has such a great time staying at your place! He seemed relaxed and happy when he arrived home and I LOVED all the pics you sent to us as we were missing him so much : ) Thanks for loving on our pupper!”

“Teanna was awesome! Macarena had a lovely time with her, she was very responsive and sent a bunch of pictures of Macarena. My baby girl was definitely very happy with her and so I was 💕✨”

“Very helpful in providing constant feedback and photos. We needed additional input for Apollos training and were very pleased on receiving frequent notes and also a good summary when we picked him up. Looking forward for next visit.”

“Alexa was wonderful to work with! She followed all directions, asked thoughtful questions, and took great care of our dog Sucia. We didn’t worry about our pup for a minute with all of the clear communication and excellent care. We will definitely book again!”

“April so kind and caring when it came to my pup! I had to find care last minute, which caused a lot of stress for me. She soothed all my doubts and make sure my girl had a great stay. April is definitely somebody that I will book with for future boarding needs! :)”

“This was our first time using Rover to find a sitter for our dog, Apollo. Tyler was the best person we could have asked for. He was super communicative ahead of time, was sending us plenty of updates while we were gone, and sent lots of photos. He also took Apollo on plenty of walks in some nice areas in Bothell. Apollo looked like he had the best time. We'd love to have him stay with Tyler again the next time we need a dog sitter.”

“We left Luka with john during a long 4 week trip out of the country. We were initially a little apprehensive because this was the first time we were out for so long but John quickly put our worries at ease by sending us regular updates and photos. John was very thoughtful about all the little details and Luka seemed truly happy and comfortable.”
“ShuShu was very understanding of the situation! She immediately accommodated me and also had a meet and greet before the actual stay! She gave me updates everyday and was very loving of Hoku! 10/10 would have my puppy stay again with her.”

“Cynthia did a great job watching Sparky. She took him the dog park nearby where Sparky and her dog played and had a great time. They also ran around and played a lot in her fenced backyard. She also sent a lot of videos of Sparky, which was nice.”

“Millie had a great experience with Theresa and her pack. Fun to know she was with dogs and kids that enjoyed her company. Updates and photos assured us she was getting all the love, play and cuddles she needed while we were away. We’ll definitely leave our pup with Theresa and family again!”

“Catherine was the best rover we could ask for. She took EXCELLENT care of our dog and provided us high quality updates just like we asked. Catherine and her family made our dog feel so special in his home away from home. They poured a lot of love onto our dog and we would absolutely book with her again !”

“Marlene is wonderful! We left our dog Ryker with her for a week and she kept him busy the entire time. We got lots of photo updates too. I won’t leave Ryker with anyone else.”

“We are extremely happy with the care our pet sitter and this wonderful family . From the moment we met them, we felt reassured, and they truly exceeded our expectations. They took such loving and thoughtful care of Prince, treating him like their own. He was not just looked after, but genuinely happy—getting plenty of exercise with runs, lots of affection, and constant attention. We especially appreciated how neat and clean they kept him and all his belongings. Their beautiful gals took wonderful care. Prince can be a bit of a fussy eater and needs some encouragement during mealtime, but they handled that with great patience and care, making sure he was well-fed and comfortable. They truly went above and beyond, taking care of him even more than we had asked. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands. We would absolutely recommend them and will definitely be going back to them again!”

“We recently had Nancy watch our dogs over the course of 3 days. The experience was fantastic and I would highly recommend her services. We have two smaller and older dogs and it was clear that she was very skilled in caring for them. We received several pictures and updates and our dogs were so happy during the experience. We will definitely book with her again and thank you Nancy!”

“Anita is a very wonderful sitter, took care of my doggo like her own, played with her when he did not want to walk, gave him home made food and took him on long walks. She shared lots of updates too.”

About: My mother has always been the friend that would take care of everyone's dog or cat ever since I was little. So, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and learned how to take care of many different breeds, ages and personalities. Once I got my license, my friend's and family friend's entrusted me with taking care of their dogs at their home and had many experiences of house sitting with them. Before joining Rover, I was an employee through the Fetch! dog walking and pet care agency over the summer of 2025. I had my own clientele for which I would walk their dogs' multiple times a week. I also provided extended stays for house sitting in which I frequently took care of multiple dogs at once. I have owned cats my whole life, but dogs have always been a constant in my life as well through these dog sitting experiences and briefly fostering a chihuahua who eventually went to a family friend. I would be so delighted to take care of your dog or cat! Whether that be for walks, check-ins or house sitting, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend my time with your pets. Their happiness and safety will always come first! I am currently a student at WSU, but I have a flexible schedule to take care of your furbabies. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I promise to always keep a close eye on your animals and monitor them on their behavior, and eating or drinking patterns to make sure nothing is out of the normal for your furbaby. I will always set a side a, if not multiple, chunks of time to ensure they are enriched with playtime. Please also let me know your pet's quirks, triggers, and/or medications that they might have or need, so I can be well equipped while they are in my care.

About: I work for an animal rescue and have two loving cats of my own! I am experienced with medication administration, kitten and senior cat care, and being a calm and patient presence for shy or spicy kitties. My career in animal welfare means I’ve seen it all and am happy to help you out with whatever you need.
“Emma is an excellent cat sitter. We will certainly use her again. She is polite and trustworthy - she noticed our indoor kitties escaped through a window by pushing out the screen and collected them and returned them to the house and closed all the windows l. I don’t know what we would have done if she hadn’t been cat sitting.”

About: I grew up in a household full of cats, dogs, birds, reptiles and fish. My first pet as a wee one was a Tarantula name Suzie. Since moving to Whidbey Island 11 years ago I have worked professionally to care for animals on a number of levels from Dog Runner to Veterinarian Technician. Though I don't have any fur-babies currently, my husband and I heartbreakingly lost our two beloved fur-kids to cancer since moving here - a Husky mix and a Pitbull mix, I still find joy in caring for others' pets. From cuddles & cookies (if diet allows) to exercise & basic training (if warranted and wanted) I am here for you and your beloved pet. I can also administer medications if needed. I am primarily offering dog walking and drops-ins at this time. I am open to discuss any house sitting needs, if my schedule is open to accommodate them. I know pets are more comfortable being in their own home with familiar surroundings, sights and smells. I am respectful and mindful of your property and will treat your home as I would my own when providing drop-in visits, walks with your dog(s), as well as over night stays with your pet(s) in your home. When on walks I will provide as much energy as your dog needs, slow leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a run around the block. If you are near a hiking trail I would be happy to provide a hike with your dog(s) if that is ok with you. More details to be discussed at meet and greet or before service is provided.

“Jaimie is fabulous. My cat liked her immediately. She took lovely photos and kept me updated on my cat’s eating and litter activities, which I appreciated and made me feel confident that all was well. She made the right decision when faced with a mistake on my part. I trust Jaimie and would highly recommend her. You’d lucky to have her as a pet sitter!”

About: I have been blessed to have a life surrounded by family and friend dogs and cats. I love all furry friends! I have attached pictures of some of the ones surrounding my life today. I will follow all the rules and steps required to make you and your pet feel safe and secure. I am flexible and agreeable to most tasks!
“Ella could not have been a better fit for my timid cat. While he wasn't much for playing, he did find the courage to come out from hiding to see her every day. So grateful for her kindness and patience in watching him while I enjoyed a much needed vacation.”

About: I have always loved dogs and cats, every since I can remember. Cuddles and kisses are a must, along with occasional beach trips, to change things up. I work 4 days a week and have 3 day weekends. I already help with dog sitting on occasion for friends, along with cats and even bunnies. I have a fully fenced yard, I love providing treats as long as pet parents give the ok. I love lists to help with being more organized and making sure I provide the service needed.
About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Austin
“Kimberly is wonderful! She has an awesome property for dogs to run around and play. She would provide constant updates with great pictures of Lila. She even cleaned Lila up after rolling around in the mud. I will be using Kimberly again!”

About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry (and feathered) family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉
“While staying in Port Ludlow, we left our pup Lucy with Lauren for an afternoon while we played golf nearby. Her communication in making arrangements was great, and Lucy had a great stay. Thanks!”

About: What is a home without a dog? I have always had a dog- or a few dogs. They make life good. I live with my husband and our two teenage daughters. We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). Your dog(s) will be warmly welcomed into our home- made to feel comfortable and kept safe. Our dog Larry is a part of our family. I similarly care for dogs that I host, as if they were a part of our family, and in a way that you would want - love and attention, exercise and play. All the loves.

“Marlene provided great care for my two older dogs over the span of several weeks. This is the first time I have ever had someone other than a family or close friend watch our dogs and I felt completely comfortable and at ease with Marlene. The only reason we are pausing care for now is because of a work schedule change and plan to go back to Marlene in the future for any dog care needs!”

“Boys are always excited to see Rachael and love spending time with the other pups! We get wonderful photos of them playing on their Rover cards. Both come home tired and relaxed from their day. Highly recommend!”

“Anita took such great care of Lucy. I loved all the photos she provided. She has clear communication and checked in with me about Lucy throughout the day. She even gave Lucy some added food and that was so kind and I know Lucy is grateful. It truly shows that she’s great with dogs as she also hosted another puppy with Lucy and they got along great. I’m thankful that Anita provided such good care of Lucy.”

She jumped out of the car and raced to her front door. And Rini was great with us too - providing photos and notes that documented the day and greeting us with a friendly, warm smile. We will be back to this special canine-lover!”

I help those that are unhoused and getting them back into the community. I work M,T,W and S,M,T - 12 hour shift schedule. So working end of the week works really well for me doing Rover. I love being active myself and running with dogs. I’ve only been able to have one outdoor cat in the past. They usually like being inside. In the house I can snuggle and keep them good company.
About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. Any time, currently I am unemployed and am taking classes online, so as long as I get a heads up I will be able to do whatever you need! I have a fenced place in a family and pet friendly neighborhood. I will figure out what else can be dog-proofed and to make sure that they is nothing they can get into.

“Thank you so much David! Ranger has such a great time staying at your place! He seemed relaxed and happy when he arrived home and I LOVED all the pics you sent to us as we were missing him so much : ) Thanks for loving on our pupper!”

“ShuShu was very understanding of the situation! She immediately accommodated me and also had a meet and greet before the actual stay! She gave me updates everyday and was very loving of Hoku! 10/10 would have my puppy stay again with her.”

“Anita is a very wonderful sitter, took care of my doggo like her own, played with her when he did not want to walk, gave him home made food and took him on long walks. She shared lots of updates too.”

“Allison was great! She is so kind and was very patient with my Trigger and his anxiety and sent updates with photos throughout the time he was with her. I would definitely recommend her!”

“This was our first time to board our dog with Mary and we couldn't be more happier. Mary was very responsive and took such a good care of our boy. We feel like our dog had planty of play time and a lot of love and pampering. Mary is someone that genuinely loves dogs. We and our dog were very happy!”

“Mounica took great care of our dog, Mikko. She sent consistent updates and they gave him regular walks and time outside to play! She even baked special Christmas dog treats for the few dogs they had over that time. We would book with her and her family again anytime! Thank you Mounica for the great care! We appreciate you!”

“Beth is amazing! We feel so comfortable and confident having her watch our two Aussies. This past week we had Beth watch both of our Aussies at the same time, and it went great. We received regular updates, photos and videos, and reassurance that things were going smoothly. The girls looked like they were having so much fun, it’s so nice to see them be in great hands together. We were nervous to have someone watch them both at the same time since we usually get separate rovers for them since they can be a handful and have different needs but we felt confident trying it out with Beth and we were so glad we did. We couldn’t recommend Beth enough! She is awesome.”

“Sheri and her husband took great care of our lab while we were out of town for our wedding/honeymoon. She took Kona on many walks, and even made a point to at least play ball in the backyard when the weather turned stormy. She sent updates and photos regularly, and put our minds at ease. Will definitely use Sheri again when the need arises. ”

“Darin took amazing care of our pup! This was our first sitter experience outside friends and family and it couldn't have gone better- he always responded quickly to messages, provided great updates throughout our booking, and our pup came home happy and tired after a ton of fun and attention from Darin + family. We look forward to booking with Darin again in the future!”
