About: Dogs and other domestic pets of all ages, shapes, and sizes have been a part of my life since I was a young child growing up in rural Kansas, and I truly believe they are a family member. They can be therapeutic and loving towards you in ways you didn't know you needed. Please consider me to help not only care for your dog/pet but to also show them some love and gratitude while in my presence. I am currently a stay-at-home mom while my boys are in elementary and middle school. I will have the most time to care for your pets during the day while my kids are in school, as well as sometimes late afternoon and evening depending on after school activities. I have a fenced in yard but do live on Joint Base Lewis McChord, located on the North Fort side. The yard is well-maintained with natural grass and plenty of space to run around. I have one dog that gets along well with others and loves to have play dates. He is older so he likes to take naps and enjoy the sunshine!

About: I have had pets since I was born, and from age 5 I started to help withtheir care. I have always had a deep love for animals. I have had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, mice, rabbits, etc. I may not be a professional, however, I believe I am pretty knowledgeable about cats and dogs, their care, and some training. 3rd year in college, studying mathematics at WSU. I have had pets all my life back home and I lived them all sooo much. I am free most of days of the week in between my classes, good for drop ins and dog walks :) Lots of play, cuddle, excercise and attention. What ever the pet needs and wants, I try my best to fullfil. If they need to let out energy, let them play in the yard, if they need alone time, let them nap, etc. Lots of toys and enrichment activities, and lots of love.

I like to make sure the daily routine of your animal is as close to it usually is. I keep dogs on leashes no matter what when on walks! And usually keep them contained when loading anything in or out to avoid any running away/chasing them around kind of drama. Anything you recommended to me or want me to do I will make sure happens to ensure your pets & home are safe. For boarding I have a very large fenced back yard with a locked gate which is the only access outside. There's also neighborhoods around with side walks for walks. I do have a hotel styled lock at the top of my front door that makes it impossible for the kids to accidentally open it and let any animals out. I also usually for boarding attach an air tag to the animal while they are at my house for extra precaution. No such thing as too safe!

Did you know? Puppies can hold in their urine for approximately on hour PER month of life. Our daily routine will consist of lots of play time and love. We usually will go on a walk or two depending on the day & weather. I care for them just like their owner would. I will always use a leash when taking your dog outside. & I can promise they will not run away from me.

About: We have both taken care of pets since we were young! I (Alexa) have grown up with furry friends my whole life, and I LOVE all animals (though I do have a soft spot for dogs). Connor has grown up with pets his whole life as well. We’ve pet sat for friends, family, and neighbors before, with all kinds of critters. Alexa has experience volunteering at local animal shelters, and has had the pleasure of listening to Lee Asher speak in person. We are also currently the owners of a small dog, a big dog, and a very mischievous cat. We are both very well equipped to care for animals anywhere from a mouse to a horse. Your babies are in wonderful hands with us. I (Alexa) currently work as an EMT, which means I work only 7-8 days per month. That leaves plenty of time to go wherever duty calls! Connor gets his work schedule week by week, but normally has Fridays and Saturdays off. We are willing to house/pet sit for you, walk your animals, and do daily checkups for you as well. In a clients home, we will respect your space and only do what is necessary. About: I have had dogs all my life. After I moved out I raised a chocolate lab from 8 weeks old until he passed at 16 yrs. During that time frame I was also raising my Weimaraner at the same time! Both were high energy dogs (and Kaiser, my weim, still is). This has given me experience large breed, high energy dogs. I also have experience with elderly dogs. I am also no stranger to small dogs as I have also cared for my friends pomeranian. I am able to do drop ins before work, during lunch (depending on distanc), and after work. About: Throughout my life I've had 4 dogs. Currently I have two, with one being a 2-year-old pup I've been training ever since I adopted her and one that's pretty old and requires some special care. I used to work as a dog groomer for a business called Kendra's Grooming and I would watch her dogs when she went away with her family for vacation. For Kendra's Grooming I would bathe, dry, and hold dogs whenever needed. All of my classes are online currently for the summer and I'm open whatever day of the weekdays and Saturdays along with whatever time or for however long. So, I'm able to work whatever time is needed. I would be able to keep a constant eye on your pup, take them on however many walks you would want, and would be able to care for them in whatever way is needed. I've worked with animals with all sorts of personalities and in varying stages of health, so I can work with any form of animal, and I can accommodate for any of your pet's unique needs.

IAlthough I went to school to be a vet tech at Pierce, I couldn’t see myself in the vet med environment. Caring for animals has and always will be my passion. I am available for walks and check ins at this time. My availability is open all day Saturdays, sundays and Thursdays. And limited availability Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays as I work full time at a doggy daycare/boarding facility here in Lakewood. I’ll give your fur baby lots of love and attention and keep them calm and comfortable while mom/dad are away. I always do a yard/gate check before letting them outside. I will always leave your home in the same or better condition that I arrived in.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 20. I have personally had 9 dogs, 2 of which are still living. They are a German Shepherd and a mixed hound. I also foster dogs from time to time. I am comfortable with dogs of all ages, with dogs that need any special medication, as one of my dogs was a diabetic and blind. Also, I am comfortable with dogs that have aggression issues, as long as we work out how to address them before your dog stays with me, and no one gets hurt. Two of my German Shepherds have aggression issues that I had to work through. A little about me: I am going back to get my master's and teach. Currently, I am substitute teaching, and we undergo a very thorough background check, including fingerprints and a check with the FBI. I am willing to provide long-term boarding for deployments or similar situations. That is the case; we can discuss the details and the long-term care rate. I have a very large fenced yard that gives the dogs plenty of room to run and play. It is 1/3 of an acre. I have radiant heat in the floors of my house, and most of the time, the dogs lie on the nice, warm floor. I do have a camera in the backyard. I can give you access while your dog is staying here with me. :) I’m sorry, I cannot take any more neutered dogs. The few I have had have been working all over my house, and it doesn’t matter how much cleaning you do, or how special the treatments are, they don't work. It’s a big problem with unneutered dogs. I do hope you consider neutering your dog. I am currently working to go back and get my masters and education to be a teacher. I am available all days right now and flexible on times. I have a large yard that is fully fenced with a 6 foot fence. I treat pets as part of my family but keep them well behaved and mannered. I have fostered dogs before too, and I always try to meet the dog where they are at whether they are stressed, fearful, or have a lot of. For example, if they need a lot of exercise we go on walks and play several times a day. I find a happy dog is a happy life.
About: I have taken care of all types of dogs ranging from puppies to seniors, and all of their unique personalities! I have owned dogs with cancer and also a few reactive ones. Therefore, I know each dog has their own specific needs, and I love to spoil them in their own way! I currently work 2.5 hour shifts as a coach 3 times a week, besides that I am able to give them all the love and affection they need. Besides these short shifts your dogs will rarely ever be left alone! I have a dog of my own who goes on walks daily, and also plays enrichment games everyday! He would love to have a friend to do it with! I have a fenced yard, and a very friendly and energetic dog of my own to keep your fur baby busy! I take all dogs for a walk 1-2 times a day so they have time out of the house to go on an adventure as well! I try to take them on different routes each time so it’s more exciting and interesting for them, this also applies to my dog walking service! Besides walks, I also include multiple types of enrichment activities for them!

First meeting would be about meeting your pet to establish a relationship of trust and then figure what services best suite your fur baby I can provide safe walking and in home pet care. I have had several sessions with a dog trainer myself working on training and handling aggression and fear in dogs. Also interacting with them to provide mental exercises to keep them from getting bored.
