About: I have had 2 dogs and 2 cats in the past and loved them dearly. I haven't had my own dogs recently but have enjoyed my friends dogs and cats immensely! I miss the company of pets and thought this would be an excellent way to have my pet fix by taking care of other peoples pets. Please bring your pets bed or if he or she is comfortable they are free to sleep with me and sit on any couch or chair in the house. I would love to take them for walks to the beach if you approve. I would take them for walks around this quite neighborhood and since I am retired we would have lots of time together to play and enjoy each others company.

About: I have worked with shelter dogs for about six years and I have had quite a bit of training on dog behavior, handling, and socializing. My past shelter job required me to become SAFER certified in order to do behavior assessments on dogs coming in. I have worked with hundreds of dogs with a wide variety of behavior issues. As the dog care lead for my last shelter I oversaw the care of up to 120 dogs at a time. Part of the dogs care included medicating, I am familiar with many common health issues and medications and am comfortable administering all forms of medications. I have one small dog of my own, a neutered male that likes other dogs. Right now I am only looking for like sized dogs male or female (20 pounds and under) or very calm bigger dogs to babysit. I live on a small dahlia farm - about two acres, unfenced. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and in bed but you can provide their bedding if you think they’d prefer it. While our house is being built we live in a 2 bedroom “mother in law”. It is small so not ideal for active bigger dogs right now. I only sit one dog at a time, unless the dogs come from the same household or they are known friends and okayed by both families. I have a small dahlia farm so I work from home! I have free range chickens and one senior dog. My typical day revolves around taking care of the animals and flowers. Right now our yard isn’t fenced but it’s a summer goal! I take the dogs for a walk in the morning and then out for potty breaks every couple hours after that.

We are a fun loving family of four, living on a small (wanna be) farm with our dog Larry and a flock of hens. Larry was a rescue from the humane society- and despite her rough start, she is ridiculous sweet. She can be both playful and lazy- a great combination for a playdate. The house yard is dog friendly- very large and fully fenced. My home is equally dog friendly- relaxed with plenty of room to get comfortable. I have a work from home situation, so your furry friend/family member will get plenty of love and good attention. I (and my family) are very animal - and people- focused. While I will be the primary contact and person in charge of your dog, know that my family will also be available and more than willing to help- we love dogs! Happy to have yours with us :). About: I've had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, fish, etc. I absolutely love animals of all shapes and sizes. I volunteer at the SPCA in my spare time because I just can't get enough. I have a fairly flexible schedule and a reliable vehicle. I would love to set up a regular schedule so that I can plan in advance for the best care possible. I have an older Chihuahua who is very mellow and gets along with all animals and humans. I have a grassy open area for play as well as a fenced off area for off leash play.

That being said, I am not comfortable working with aggressive tendencies and prefer small and medium sized dogs, seniors and special need critters. I prefer to work between 8am and 8pm, Monday through Saturday but feel free to ask if you need something outside those hours. Ideally, I hope to connect with a few clients that I can take care of their pets on a regular basis. I am open to dog walking and drop in visits at your place (to let outside, feed, water, snuggle, cuddle and companionship. I like to give pets their space until they get comfortable with me. I have a calm reassuring energy and animals tend to respond well to it. I am good at reading animals and follow their lead when it comes to their comfort. I have used baby gates as needed with my own critters, I always leash up (harnesses preferred) before opening a door, kennels (door open) are highly encouraged as a safe spot for pets to feel secure if they are anxious. I am mindful of a pet's needs and behaviors ie routine trips out to restroom, a good walk to expel energy or a cuddle to help soothe anxiety…

We are very mindful of trying to maintain the same routine that your pet is used to. If they're couch potatoes, we'll lounge and watch a movie, if they're active, we'll go out for a long walk or run. If they need a treat after every walk or to be told they're a good girl whenever they're being a good girl, they'll get it!
About: Hello! My name is Taylor and I am a 28 years old. I grew up around dogs and have spent time fostering for the local shelter back in NC, I love how every dog is so unique! I own a 10 year old Great Pyrenees named Mila and she is the sweetest girl (not a mean bone in her body). Late Pick Up- I understand things do happen while traveling and this requires a later pick up than anticipated, if this is the case please let me know asap and you will not be charged. But when pick up time comes around and I have not heard from you and you have not messaged me back this will incur in a 15$ late fee per each hour that you are late. Booking Policy- You must book/pay to secure your dates. Meet/Greet - If you would like to meet before the requested dates, there will be a $20 non-refundable fee that will go towards your booking. This is due to covering my time outside of the scheduled dates. Cancellation Policy- If you need to cancel a boarding request this must be done before 48 hours of your booking or it will result in a fee. This fee depends on the service total, this ensures I am compensated for late cancellations as another dog/cat could have been in your spot. Please let me know if you have any questions and I would be happy to help! PLEASE READ: I am a full time admin worker (M-F at an office) looking to care for your pup when you are away. Being able to give YOU a free week(end) is what I am aiming for. I work the usual 8-5 in office job and typically spend my evenings in the yard, on a walk, or hiking. I have an additional fur baby so yours will always be in company. If your dog requires crate rotating or night time separation I can make that available. At the moment, only half of my yard is fenced. This means I will be harnessing/leashing your pup to ensure the safety of our time together.

We have a fully fenced 8 acre property with a four ft fence. Dogs are free to have access to entire property as well as free range indoors. We have a very comfortable home with a large wrap around deck and 5 exits. So it’s in/out all day as much as any dog wants/needs. It’s truly doggie heaven here and most people want to stay themselves when they drop off their dogs. We don’t care for more than 2 at a time.
About: I’ve had dogs around me all my life from puppies to elderly care, from changing diapers to walks, I take care of all dogs equally. “I met with Kim the day before boarding my dog with her to give my fearful dog a chance to sniff around her property, to see her dog and sniff her when she wasn't looking :-). My dog, a WSS who is fearful of people, settled in fairly quickly because Kim did exactly as I asked her to do - she ignored my dog, didn't make eye contact with her and let my dog come to her when she was ready. Apparently this approach worked because my fearful dog was at ease and comfortable with Kim when I picked her up after only spending 1 night with her. Kim has her own dog which helped my dog feel more comfortable. Kim sent updates and few photos which put me at ease while my dog was in her care. If you board your dog at Kim's, make sure your dog is up to date on their tick treatments as the outdoor area where the dogs roam and go potty outdoors is a wild woodland type area (not mowed) with tall grass, brush and shrubs where ticks are known to thrive.”
