About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. About: Grew up around dogs, my family has always had one in our lives. Feel I have a special bond with dogs, big and small, and rarely do I experience coming across a dog that does not warm up to me. Experienced in all forms of taking care of dogs, from walking and feeding, to playing and living with, sitting for family and friends both in their home and ours. I work full time from home but have a lot of flexibility during the day. Early mornings and evenings can be accommodated with simple planning. My family currently has an older female beagle who is sweet as can be, and very lazy. She is not aggressive towards other dogs and is fine being around dogs. We have three little children who are completely accustomed to having dogs present, and love to help with feeding and play time. We live in a small house but could accommodate 1 dog for short stays if need be, preferably small-medium sized (less than 40lbs). We do not have a fenced-in yard but live near a dog park and excellent areas for walking.

About: I've been taking care of pets for two decades and will love them like I love my own. I believe the best way to teach a dog is positive reinforcement and will work with whatever routines you have established with your furry family member. I work from home 3 days per week and the days are flexible except Thursday when I have to be at my office in Montpelier. I can go home on my lunch breaks for walks on the days I'm in the office (and you're close to Montpelier) and can work from your home if I'm housesitting and you have internet. About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! About: When I was growing up my family always had dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own (I have a senior shepherd mix and a 1.5 year old lab mix) as well as a cat. I work with middle school students during the school year and would love to spend my summer taking care of animals. About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was about 11 years old — it started with neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed a hand, and it quickly became something I truly love. We have three little children who are completely accustomed to having dogs present, and love to help with feeding and play time. We live in a small house but could accommodate 1 dog for short stays if need be, preferably small-medium sized (less than 40lbs). We do not have a fenced-in yard but live near a dog park and excellent areas for walking.

The meet and great went so well on the morning of drop off Zinnia was so excited to see Piper again! Piper was amazing at giving us updates on how Zinnia was doing, what they did that day, along with a bunch of photos she took during their adventures. Safe to say we would absolutely bring Zinnia to stay with Piper again!”
About: I've been taking care of pets for two decades and will love them like I love my own. I believe the best way to teach a dog is positive reinforcement and will work with whatever routines you have established with your furry family member. I work from home 3 days per week and the days are flexible except Thursday when I have to be at my office in Montpelier. I can go home on my lunch breaks for walks on the days I'm in the office (and you're close to Montpelier) and can work from your home if I'm housesitting and you have internet. As a gal in her 40s I'm pretty low key and will be very happy spending my time with your pet in your home or taking them on adventures if that's what they prefer. I love hiking and walks and have lots of friends with dogs if socialization is something you'd like for your pup.

About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I own a mini Australian Shepherd named Oakley who is 8 months old. He joins me on most of my adventures that include running, hiking, paddleboarding, snowboarding, and overall just be outside. About: I grew up around animals of all kinds on a farm and had the privilege of owning and loving our dog, Betty Lou for 14 years. I work from home and am looking for ways to make extra money while staying active and fitting in with my kids' school schedule (9 am-3 PM). We have a fenced in yard and I will follow whatever guidelines are needed in the client's home. I understand each situation is different and each pet needs specific care.
About: I am a very experienced pet owner in Montpelier - I have owned and loved alpacas, dogs, goats, cats, and backyard birds of all kinds. I have also done foster care of kittens and cats for CVHS. I'm available to provide a fun and loving spot to board your dogs. They will get attention, care, walks, and playtime with my 4 dogs and part time cat. I have a crate if needed, can be one level if mobility is an issue, am willing to administer meds and have no problem with puppies or senior pets. I am home all afternoon and evening and weekends and dogs get a lunchtime walk as well. I am available for boarding all of the time, but only showed weekends because that’s when I am home all day and evening. During the week dogs would still get a morning and lunchtime walk and care all afternoon and evening. I will send updates and photos throughout your dogs time with us - I am also available to pick up and drop off dogs for an additional fee. I am happy to do full day care to allow folks to go skiing or shopping or on full day outings as well.! I work in Montpelier until 3:00 pm so pets get exercise in the afternoons and weekends, and dogs get a lunchtime walk as well. I am around all of the time on weekends and all school breaks and all summer. Our house has many dog beds, crates, toys and treats. We live on many acres and dogs can be on or off leash, depending on needs. I also take dogs to local trails to walk and socialize.
