About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

Since becoming a foster parents to seniors dogs years ago, we have gained much knowledge and experience with special needs and administering different types of medications. I have a part time job but Jonny will be home full time for the pups with separation anxiety. If you board with us, our place will be your dog’s home away from home. 💕 Dogs staying with us will never be left outside unattended and will always be leashed. About: I grew up with yellow labs and helped raise multiple litters of puppies with my family. I’ve had my current dog for 3 years and want to expand my love of dogs to yours as well! I love to be active and will take your dog on a run/hike or just cuddle up with them on the couch. I work as a therapist with a hybrid schedule. I’m usually in and out of the house during the day and have a relatively flexible schedule! Every pet and home is different. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine similar to normal and will follow your lead on what you want things to look like day to day. I always walk dogs with a leash.

About: Been taking care of animals since I was 8, grew up with a cat and then got 2 dogs and 2 cats. Adopted a puppy 2 years ago and have been helping raise her. I'm currently in school right now and just trying to make a little extra money. Can walk or feed in between classes or come over after classes for a bit. Growing up with dogs I am very comfortable walking a dog, and putting them in a create if needed. Also am ok playing outside with them.
About: I've had cats and dogs my entire life and love both. I have taken care of young puppies and kittens as well as other small animals My weekly routine is fairly flexible now, I make my own schedule.so I can be pretty accommodating at the moment. I also have my own vehicle I can't board at my place presently but I hope to be able to do so in the future. I can pet/house sit anywhere in the greater Burlington area. I have a mini Aussie who can come play if your pets are comfortable with guests :)

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of a variety of dogs since I was young, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have raised goats and chickens for years. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor playtime and access to acres of wooded trails outside my backyard. I love hiking with dogs as well as playing outside.
