About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. About: I started taking care of neighborhood animals when I was 12 years old and continued down this path of animal care and rescue into my adulthood. I took care of a childhood dog for 16 years of my life before rescuing three of my own as an adult. All three of my rescues have their own unique behavioral issues. One I cannot have around small children from trauma inflicted on her by them. My other cannot regulate her emotions when she gets overstimulated, and my youngest is a deaf and mostly blind double merle! I have taken care of my own pets, taken care of countless neighborhood pets, and I have also worked on a horse farm where I was trusted to take care of the horses, donkeys, and pigs. Over the years, I’ve looked after all kinds of pets — from energetic pit bulls and bulldogs to small dogs like Shih Tzus and even cats. About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.

About: Growing up in Vermont on a farm, I have been exposed to animals my entire life. I have been taking care of family and friends dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, camels (yes, camels) since I was allowed to leave the driveway on my bike as a child. Since leaving high school I took on a professional equestrian career with Wichita riding academy working with rehabilitating abused/ off the track race horses. I have just recently moved to Denver with a fenced in yard and lots of space. I have a dog of my own that is my entire pride and joy who loves spending time with other dogs. Having a fenced in yard, it’s very helpful and handy to those pups with bladder issues to go in and out of the house as needed. My home was completely childproof when I moved in and it’s so far worked for dogs as well. Huge open field located next to the house available for dogs who like to run as well.

About: I’ve had pets since I was about 4 years old, and am experienced with caring for cats and dogs. Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. Depending on the care required, I will feed pets, give them meds, take them outside, play games/fetch/etc., brush them, empty litter boxes and so on. I have 2 dogs of my own & have devoted myself to giving them the best life possible. I am newly retired so have lots of time to take care of your beloved pets. I love walking & playing with dogs in all kinds of weather. I will take great care of your pets at your home or while you visit Boothbay Harbor for a few hours or for a day! I will follow your instructions, making sure they are happy & safe. We will always have fun! I am retired and, thus, have quite a bit of time to walk & spend time with your beloved pets!! It’s more than a “job” for me. It’s a labor of love as well. I have a fenced in yard that our dogs use and would prefer walking and caring for your dogs at your home where they are more familiar with the surroundings.
About: I have always loved animals as early as I can remember and I never been without a pet in my entire life. I started pet sitting when I was about eight years old. My first "job". I knew I wanted to be in the animal field as a child and so I became a veterinary technician and spent over a decade working in vet clinics (with dogs, cats, birds, and exotics). I've worked in grooming and boarding facilities and of course with pet sitting for decades now. I am skilled with scared pets, senior, and special-needs pets. Having been an animal nurse, I have a total soft spot for these special loves. I am comfortable administering medication - via SC or IM injections, SC fluids, oral, etc. I can do emergency care such as administering enemas for seizures or any needed first aid. If there is an emergency situation, there is an animal hospital in Newfane just a couple miles away. I understand the scariness of a "stranger's" care, but I will respect your relationship and follow your directions to a tee. I know that routine is a huge part of our pets' lives, and obviously you know your pet the best. I insist we do a free "meet and greet" to make sure we are both a fit with each other. I am also very comfortable with any pets, not just dogs and cats. In my vet tech career, I especially enjoyed working with snakes, iguanas, ferrets, and large birds. I would love to learn more about exotic animal husbandry and am not afraid to try. I would also enjoy taking care of farm animals. Some of my best childhood memories were taking care of the cows at my great uncle's dairy farm in Maine. I have availability every day. I currently work part-time in a local library a couple days a week, but I work only four-hour shifts, so I am still available every day. I am flexible and easy-going. I am also available all holidays.
About: I’ve taken care of a tons of breeds of pups. I have taken care of dogs from puppies to older dogs as old as 17 years old. I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was little. I am able to walk, feed, play fetch, provide overnight care, and make sure your home is safe and sound while you need assistance. I look forward to meeting your pups! I’m able to provide care for your pups as I have a flexible schedule and am able to work around when you need assistance with your pups! I will care for your pets and give them attention constantly. I wake up early and feed them, and make sure they are all set for the day. I will snuggle with them and make sure they are safe :)

About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature

About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. About: I have owned and cared for a variety of dogs for my entire life. I have cared for larger groups of dogs of all kinds, and have cared for dogs with some special needs. I am very active and have extensive knowledge of dog friendly hikes in the area. My schedule is flexible, and I can generally make whatever your pet needs work! I have my own high energy pup, so daily hikes, play time and training fit right into our routine. I have a fenced in yard, and a pet friendly home. Although our dog does not use one, we have crates available. Walks can be on or off leash depending on your dogs skills anf your own comfortability.

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, after the passing of my last dog - I decided to give myself a break from owning pets and decided to take care of them for others instead until I am ready for my next fur baby! I work from home and can house sit any day of the week, most weeks. I leave the house to go to the gym for a couple hours per day. I have a full fenced in yard and the pets stay inside the house unless it’s play time of potty time. The house is big enough for multiple pets.
