About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

She is caring and detail oriented and helps anxious pet owners as much as the pet! Before we left: Sukhpran came to meet our cat, who forms very quick decisions about new people; he took to her immediately and didn't blink when she gave him his injection. While we were away: She sent photos or a video during each visit. She didn't just feed and leave, she took time to play. She also took care of my plants. When we returned: Our cat was calm and happy, and my plants were healthy and huge! Mail and packages were neatly stacked, litter robot was given an extra empty, so we didn't have to when we returned. “Our 6 year old GSD, Flynn, has been with Chad since he was 4 months old. Up until a few months ago in a doggie day care, and now spending 2 days a week with him in a more 1:1 setting. Chad's calm, nurturing demeanor and unwavering patience and consistency with our often anxious and always energetic guy makes such a huge different for our family. Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. All of this being said, I think the biggest recommendation that we could give would be that whether it was at day care drop off or Chad pulling into our driveway for a visit, Flynn can never get to Chad fast enough. For us- that says it all!”
About: There has always been a dog in my life and it’s the absolute best! I am a big believer in positive reinforcement training. I’ve worked with a dog trainer for a few weeks (with my own dog Lucy) and have enjoyed reading about positive reinforcement training techniques. I always enjoy greeting other furry friends while we’re out on the trails or at the town off-leash area. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs and my current dog Lucy was, (and still sometimes is!), pretty high-energy. We get outside for some energy-burning activity at least 2x a day. We live right next to trails, a pond, and a river. I’ve mostly taken in friends’ dogs over the past couple of years but we’re used to having an extra dog come to stay and would be happy to welcome yours! I work from home and Lucy is with me all day. We exercise and/or have play breaks throughout the day. I have very few commitments outside the home. We are active and live right next to town & state forest with many trails. I run, hike, and mountain bike. We also have 2 ponds which is the best for water-loving dogs! I take Lucy out every couple of hours on our property (big meadow) or surrounding trails. She is mostly off-leash but can be on-leash if that works better with your dog. Lucy loves all dogs and is a great, energetic playmate. We have a crate if that's part of your dog's routine.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. I currently have a puppy who could accompany me on walks or drop-ins if you think your dog could benefit from seeing a play buddy. If not, I can do some quality 1:1 time with your pooch.
About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid and puppy friendly if sitting happens in my home. I am also great with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting or drop in visits! The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once...and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children and puppies. I have two dog-loving kids under age 5, and we have a super sweet lab puppy, so she is currently small, but growing fast! I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days if you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids and my own puppy). I've always loved my pets as members of the family and I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We allow our puppy on furniture, but I will of course follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.
About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

About: I have a great amount of experience with animals. I have cared for Bunnies,Rats, Birds, Reptiles, Cats and dogs as well. I’m familiar with treating senior dogs and cats. As well as younger animals. I’ve had animals my entire life. Starting May 15th. I will have a flexible availability. I would fit pet sitting into my daily/ weekly routine but ensuring all animals are fed and have water. I will give them some play time. If walks are needed I will ensure I arrive earlier to give any dogs walks. I have two cats. Athena and Vixen Both girls are on a strict routine. They get fed wet food twice a day and dry food once. Their wet food includes multivitamins, probiotics and allergy medications. Both cats have separate diets that best suit their needs. I ensure all things for them are done before starting my day. e.i Litterboxes, water refills, medications, food and play time. Upon arriving home I greet them and play for about 30min-1hr.

About: I’ve been taking care of all sorts of animals since I was young. Walking, training and feeding dogs… scooping litter boxes, feeding and playing with cats… almost anything you can imagine when it comes to pet care! About: My name is Danielle and I’ve always been a huge animal lover. When my neighbors got two lab puppies in 2009 I visited them every day after school. Since I didn’t grow up with dogs I basically treated them as my own and taught them commands. This is when my dogsitting journey began at 12 years old. Both dogs had such a big impact on me which led to my passion working with animals. In fourth grade my dream job was to be a dog walker. Since then I’ve pet sat for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, rabbits, and horses for months at a time in Vermont and Hawaii. About: I’ve had both dogs and cats for my whole life! I’m very active and would love to walk with your dog and play! I have experience with difficult animals from my time working at an ASPCA and from socializing and rescuing feral cats. I can give meds and provide care to senior animals and I’m strong enough to carry a pet that needs some help getting down stairs etc. I’ve potty trained two puppies and leash trained several other dogs. I’m a graduate student with a hybrid work schedule and I’m always looking for more excuses to get outside and go for a walk! I’m very active but I also love to snuggle on the couch with a good book and a new furry friend. With my own pets I take their routine very seriously and I would do the same for your animals. I believe in keeping things as stress free as possible for pets while you are away so they can stay happy and healthy. I do a mix of working from home and working on campus, doing drop ins and walks when I’m in between meetings would work great for me. I’m super active so Im always out walking already, i might as well bring a dog! I can stay at other peoples houses if it’s close to the university and there is wifi for me to get some work done. Currently I can’t have animals stay in my home because my house already has two cats that don’t do well with new animals coming over. I would care for them as if they are my own of course! I am a string believer that animals thrive on routine so I will stick as close as I can to what their normal routine is. At a clients home I would be sure to keep everything clean and neat and do everything as directed so the pet I’m watching doesn’t experience extra stress being away from their person.

About: I grew up with many dogs normally two at a time. I grew up with a great pyrenees and bernese mountain dog. We have a french bulldog now and a pit bull so I am good with any breed!! My mom used this same platform to watch dogs for a while and i would help her! I am home for college right now, and am in desperate need for a job! I love dogs and animals and have always works extremely well with all sorts of breeds of dogs. I am available any time! I will follow every instructions the owners give. I will care for the animal as if they were my own and show them immense amounts of love and affection!

About: I have experience working with dogs of all ages, l’m comfortable administering medications—I definitely have a soft spot for dogs with special needs! I have three dogs of my own and always travel with my smallest one, Meera, a 9lb chi mix who is very quiet and well behaved. I work at a doggie daycare four days a week so Friday through Sunday I’d be out of the house for about 8 hours a day. I am the lucky mama of three sweet rescue dogs named Jelly Bean, Frankie, and Meera. They are highly socialized due to the nature of my work and they join me for house sitting and pet care. A typical day includes frequent potty breaks/play sessions outside followed by low-energy training and relaxation, inside or out (weather dependent).
About: I grew up with golden retrievers my whole life and have my own 3rd old golden now. LOVER of big dogs! I will pretty much do anything for a pet.. can't get enough! Hikes, quick trips, beach - you name it :-) I have always been my friend's go-to #1 pet-sitter when they go out of town so why not finally get paid for something I LOVE! I am in sales for full time job so have a lot of time to share with your four legged friends as I work from home, plus my dog always love to meet new friends (of course only if you're ok with it)! About: My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I learned a lot of what I know from firsthand experience but also from reading many books of dog behavior and from being taught training techniques from a close family friend and dog trainer. Nothing makes me happier than a dog and nothing makes my dog happier than being with other dogs! I hope to ease the stress that can come from managing life and wanting the best for your pup by providing a safe space for them to have fun! I am currently a student at University and my schedule takes me away from the home for 6 hours a day 5 days a week. I am always providing enrichment activities for my dog while I am away from the house and we go on a long walk when I return. I have a big yard that is partially wooded for the dogs to play around in, whether your dog is good off leash or not. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.
