About: I've owned and taken care of dogs my entire life. I'm proud to be one of the first people friends and family call when a petsitter is needed. I love walking, and I love dogs. This seems like the perfect opportunity to exercise and get my animal fix! I'm currently working full-time Monday through Friday. I can do evening walks after 5:00 PM (as weather allows) and I can do weekends between 9:00 AM - 6 PM. My current apartment doesn't allow pets, but I can housesit on weekends or in the evenings if the location is somewhat close to my work in Waterbury. I'm a long-time vegetarian, and have always had an extra sensitive heart when it comes to animals. I think that earning an animal's trust is such a privilege and gift, and I honor that. I cannot house pets in my current apartment, but I will follow the guidance and knowledge of the owners in their homes and while on walks.

About: I have had dogs in my life since I can remember, from family dogs to dog sitting for friends in high school, to now owning my own two little creatures. I am knowledgeable and comfortable with high-anxiety dogs and leash-reactive dogs (one of mine is both of these and more!) and am comfortable and confident with all sizes, breeds, and ages. There's nothing better than plugging into a good podcast and taking a nice, long walk with a furry friend. I have experience with all types of dogs, especially bully breed dogs (pit bulls, boxers, etc) and everything from high anxiety dogs to puppies to elder care dogs. I can administer oral medication, and have given humans shots before so with some owner coaching, would definitely be comfortable administering injected medication if needed. I'm currently working part time, so I have lots of time to take your pup on a walk during the day or hang with them while you’re out of town. I live in Burlington, VT, but I'm willing to travel. I am happy to come to your home where your dog is already comfortable and familiar. Having two dogs who have utilized Rover for this reason, I believe it is the best option for some high-anxiety dogs not to be put into an unfamiliar situation when their parents are gone. About: I grew up with cats, both indoor and outdoor. In college I adopted my own cat who recently passed away at the age of 19. He was very healthy up until the last year during which time he needed special medication and some adjustments made to his living quarters. I recently adopted an adult cat named Angus and he has fit in with my dogs wonderfully! About: There has always been a dog in my life and it’s the absolute best! I am a big believer in positive reinforcement training. I’ve worked with a dog trainer for a few weeks (with my own dog Lucy) and have enjoyed reading about positive reinforcement training techniques. I always enjoy greeting other furry friends while we’re out on the trails or at the town off-leash area. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs and my current dog Lucy was, (and still sometimes is!), pretty high-energy. We get outside for some energy-burning activity at least 2x a day. We live right next to trails, a pond, and a river. I’ve mostly taken in friends’ dogs over the past couple of years but we’re used to having an extra dog come to stay and would be happy to welcome yours! I work from home and Lucy is with me all day. We exercise and/or have play breaks throughout the day. I have very few commitments outside the home. We are active and live right next to town & state forest with many trails. I run, hike, and mountain bike. We also have 2 ponds which is the best for water-loving dogs! I take Lucy out every couple of hours on our property (big meadow) or surrounding trails. She is mostly off-leash but can be on-leash if that works better with your dog. Lucy loves all dogs and is a great, energetic playmate. We have a crate if that's part of your dog's routine.

About: I grew up with many animals, both my own pets, and animals on my grandfather's dairy farm (he was also a vet). I live in the country in Richmond, and have cats, young kids and animals Rover won't let me name in the description...but they provide eggs. We have dogs in our "extended family" and we are well accustomed to dogs but we do not have one ourselves at this time. If your dog is 100% safe with those people and pets and well-behaved, let's talk! Independently insured. We enjoy hosting dogs, and are home most days of the week for most of the day. We enjoy walking with dogs and playing fetch (if dogs like to do that) on our hill in our yard. We would need to do a meet & greet to make sure it is a good match. Our yard is not fenced, and we are on a dirt road in the country with woods on the property and surrounding it, so dogs should not be prone to bolting etc. They must be 100% safe with young kids, cats and free range egg producers. No aggressive or reactive dogs please.

I like to take puppers for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. About: When I was growing up my family always had dogs and cats. I have two dogs of my own (I have a senior shepherd mix and a 1.5 year old lab mix) as well as a cat. I work with middle school students during the school year and would love to spend my summer taking care of animals. My dogs are my priority so I can’t commit to overnights but with my days free this summer I would love to do some dog walking, house sitting and cat sitting. I work full-time during the school year but I have the summers off with plenty of free time to spend cuddling with some cats. I’d love to do dog sitting as well but am not sure I can commit to overnights as I have my own two dogs at home who need me but I’m open for daily support such as walks or feeding during the owners’ work hours. My dogs use a long lead out back and aren’t left unsupervised for long. When my cat was alive he had his own separate space away from the dogs as well as easier access to food, water and litter as he was arthritic.

A Little About Me Animals have always been at the heart of my life. I grew up around horses and farm animals, spent time volunteering with shelters, and have fostered and rehabilitated animals in need. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am. I take their happiness and well-being as seriously as my own, whether that means preparing fresh meals, making sure they stick to their routine, or just giving them lots of love and attention. When I’m not with animals, you can usually find me out in nature, making art, gardening, or learning new skills in bushcraft, herbalism, and homesteading. I work from home, so I’m available throughout the day to provide care, attention, and companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to stick to your pet’s routine. I follow each pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I respect your home, keeping it clean, secure, and just as you left it.

About: I can cater to whatever your dog needs. Whether that be daily long walks, runs, or just a simple stroll through the yard. Growing up with 2 dogs has taught me a lot Currently on summer break as I wait for my college graduate program to start. I can give your dog all the attention they need and deserve. I have a partially fenced in yard and I’m a very short walk to a lot of great trails and water. Also I have room for any crates that may be used.
“My two border collies had an excellent time, with plenty of supervised play with other dogs. My old guy Luke thoroughly enjoyed his active social life and is quite bored to be back home. Meanwhile, my young dog Rafe completely bonded to Sam and kept her in sight all the time. Plenty of outside exercise and I loved the photo updates. I’ve never boarded these two before but it worked out great and will happily board with Sam again.”

I can't put into words how happy we were with Eric & his family for how they took care of Jerome. Frequent photos and updates allowed us to enjoy our trip while knowing that Jerome was being treated as part of their family. Their house is puppy paradise and their dogs were the perfect companions for our lil guy. If you’re looking for a safe and loving home away from home for your pets, they’re fantastic. They also took care to get to know our dog’s needs ahead of time, with comprehensive questionnaires and a meet and greet.”
“Danielle cared for our dog River for an entire week at her house. River is a young, very high energy dog and Danielle did a great job handling him, especially with the other dogs that were staying with her. Her communication is excellent and we received pictures and texts daily. She has a beautiful, wide open space for the dogs to run off leash. I would not hesitate to leave your dog with Danielle!”
About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I'm fortunately very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate both last-minute and long-term schedules! Being a sincere animal lover, I'm always enthusiastically willing to tend to the needs of any pets that are under my care. I believe that both people and animals benefit from living in a clean and comfortable space, so I seek to maintain and accommodate that kind of positive atmosphere in your pet's home.
“Robyn was absolutely amazing with Jaco. She took care of him as if he were her own. Tons of excersice every day and amazing updates. We were able to rest easy on our vacation. Jaco might have had a better trip than us! We would definitely recommend Robyn to anyone looking to have their dog go on vacation as well.”
