“My sister and I were heading to Stowe with our dogs for a ski trip when we found out the house wasn't dog friendly. Oh no! Luckily we found Gwynn who lives close to Stowe. She only takes two dogs at a time which was perfect for my dog and my sister's since they're best friends! Gwynn was great with initial introductions with my somewhat skittish dog and her dogs. We were in contact with her everyday with photos and a video of them frolicking in the snow. She always responded quickly via phone or text. After picking them up, our dogs ended up sleeping the entire next day from having too much fun. My dog in particular did not want to leave Gwynn's chickens! I would highly recommend Gwynn, especially if your dog needs personal attention, lots of exercise and outdoor time.”

Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. We have had 10 foster dogs in recent years who have taught me a lot! My current dog keeps me very active and we love long walks, hikes and the beach! My schedule is currently wide open. About: I’ve had a dog my whole life, in which I fed, walked, and looked after him. He passed last year and I’m not ready to get another one right now but would love to have dogs around. I absolutely love dogs and have taken care of friends and family dogs. I’m working part-time, 4 to 5 days a week. My schedule comes out 2 weeks in advance so I should have plenty of time to figure out when to look after or walk your pup! I will always keep an eye on your dog and follow all the guidelines you have, whether that’s letting them free in a fenced yard or keeping them on a leash outside.

“Samantha is wonderful!!! We are here for the summer and had to board our lab for a week. He was experiencing some allergies and Sam was more than happy to help! She provided updates, photos and videos of him throughout the week! We were able to add a day to our itinerary mid stay. Sam is very flexible! The location is exactly what we hoped for! Lots of space and outdoor time. Sam does daily walks. She offered to keep Riggs with the timid crew since he is a bit shy. Sam knows and love dogs! We are incredibly thankful for her!”
“Benjamin and Laura did such a wonderful job taking care our 4-year-old dog over a holiday weekend. They were professional, responsible, kind, and flexible. They were also very responsive, quickly responding to our questions/comments and sending frequent text updates and pictures, which really put us at ease while we were out of town. Our dog had a fantastic time with and got along well with their two dogs. “My sister and I were heading to Stowe with our dogs for a ski trip when we found out the house wasn't dog friendly. Oh no! Luckily we found Gwynn who lives close to Stowe. She only takes two dogs at a time which was perfect for my dog and my sister's since they're best friends! Gwynn was great with initial introductions with my somewhat skittish dog and her dogs. We were in contact with her everyday with photos and a video of them frolicking in the snow. She always responded quickly via phone or text. After picking them up, our dogs ended up sleeping the entire next day from having too much fun. My dog in particular did not want to leave Gwynn's chickens! I would highly recommend Gwynn, especially if your dog needs personal attention, lots of exercise and outdoor time.”

But we know they are safe and well cared for with Meredith. She is kind and consistent with them and we know they will settle in over time. We are very happy to have Meredith care for our dogs.”
About: I have had many breeds and ages of dogs my whole life. I look forward to assisting you with your best friend. From feeding to training and walks to the river I can’t wait to meet your best friend. Need more than dog care? I have plenty of experience with all sorts of farm animals! Currently have a flexible schedule and looking to add more dogs to my dog walk. I have a great spot to take by my house or we could head to some more well known trails. Your pup can come hang in my fenced in yard and join my pups in watching the chickens roam around. Otherwise we can stay in the comfort of their own space.
“Ann was absolutely great with my boy Snoopy! He is a very high energy Cattle dog who has spent very little time away from me for the past 9 years. I was nervous about boarding him, since he can be a lot for people, but Ann was absolutely amazing with him. He cozied up to her immediately and the pictures I got of him playing and having fun made me feel much better about being away from him. He got lots of attention and play time and I’m very thankful that Ann was so good with him. Highly Recommend!!!”
About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I'm fortunately very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate both last-minute and long-term schedules! Being a sincere animal lover, I'm always enthusiastically willing to tend to the needs of any pets that are under my care. I believe that both people and animals benefit from living in a clean and comfortable space, so I seek to maintain and accommodate that kind of positive atmosphere in your pet's home.
“Sarah, Ben and Bean are the BEST. Attie had the most incredible time playing with Bean and I loved the updates and pictures. Sarah knew how nervous I felt leaving him for nearly 3 weeks and was so considerate and kind. Attie came home tired and he seems like he misses Bean and Sarah already. Love that we have found such an incredible family to leave Attie with when we are away ❤️”
