“Hope is excellent and our first experience on Rover, she exceeded our expectations and gave our dog a loving and caring experience. Our dog stayed with her overnight the week after Christmas. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I made a last minute request for care and Hope made the entire process simple. We were from out of town skiing at a nearby resort. About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals

Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. She tried different areas to see where he would be most comfortable and really put time and effort into getting him to relax and be comfortable. She kept me up to date and make me feel a lot better about where he was and how he was doing. I would definitely use them again when we're in the Adirondacks!”
About: I have pet and house-sat a lot through out my life, I love making new animal friends!! I have experience giving medication, bathing, walking, hiking and chilling with both 🐈 and 🐕. I live in Bomoseen and work in Middlebury, if you need a drop in while you go out on the lake or need to take a day trip, I’m your girl! We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. I would make sure to follow any rules and guidelines to avoid any accidents. Safety is my priority above all.
About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I have grown up with animals my entire life. I am 32 years old. I graduated from college with a dual bachelors degree in 2016. I have fostered pets for a coalition for about 3 years who rescues dogs and cats. They are called Brown dog coalition located in Hopkinton ma. I currently have a dog and cat of my own. I enjoy spending the majority of my time with my pets and getting to know others pets. I previously have pet sit/ walked for family and friends throughout the past 8 years before starting to branch out in 2020. I love animals and work from home so I am available when needed to help check in on or walk any animals you may have! I work from home and can be flexible with what you need. I find it easiest to help out owners at lunch to give their dogs a halfway break. I have owned and been around all different kind of dogs and understand that each can have their own quirks and need to trust me.
About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.
About: I have taken care of my two black labs (one puppy & one senior) as well as the pets of neighbors, family, and friends. I am looking for some extra work during my seasonal breaks. For work, I am a ski lift operator in the winter and a climbing course attendant in the summer @ Bromley Mountain. I work seasonal jobs in the summer and winter months. Spring and Fall is my availability to walk, feed, play, and keep your dog engaged. I will make sure that the dog is given food, water, playtime, and attention at said times :). I will also make sure that feces is picked up.

About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. I would make sure to follow any rules and guidelines to avoid any accidents. Safety is my priority above all.

“Hope is excellent and our first experience on Rover, she exceeded our expectations and gave our dog a loving and caring experience. Our dog stayed with her overnight the week after Christmas. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. I made a last minute request for care and Hope made the entire process simple. We were from out of town skiing at a nearby resort. Hope was generous with her time and care for our treasured Potato. We will use Hope again when we return for another ski week. About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals

Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. I live in Bomoseen and work in Middlebury, if you need a drop in while you go out on the lake or need to take a day trip, I’m your girl! I have time to get your pets outside and active, and to give them lots of attention. I’m an extremely reliable, punctual person. I’m also quite tidy, should you need an overnight sitter, your place will be almost identical to how you left it.

About: I am a dog lover and would love to take care of your fur baby while you are away! I’ve had dogs my whole life, and love getting to know their personalities. I work from home, so your dog will rarely be left alone, aside from the occasional outing. Your pet’s safety and comfort is my top priority.
