“Savannah was amazing!! She took care of my baby so well and was honestly just a genuine and kind person. You can tell she really loves animals and that’s what matters so much. My first time doing this with my cat and she made me feel so much better about leaving her. I highly recommend her to anyone, and especially if you are anxious about leaving your baby!”

“Our dog, Lyra, had a great time with Dillon and his two dogs. We got frequent updates and Lyra always seemed happy and safe. This was one of the most professional experiences I’ve had on Rover. We'll definitely book again.”

“Amazing pet sitters! Incredibly kind and responsive. My pup had a wonderful time with them and came back so tired and content. Sent photos and videos all the time so I could enjoy and be reassured knowing my pup was having fun and being taken care of. Will absolutely use them again.”

“Ruchi took such wonderful care of Fred and gave us lots of updates. He really enjoyed her lovely fenced in yard! Can’t wait to book with her again! We can’t recommend her enough!”

“Nicholas was a great caretaker for our 9 year old dog. He has a great backyard which our dog loved and a warm family environment. Nicholas was very flexible with us as our plans changed and he is extremely easy to work with. Would highly recommend and we are going to rebook.”

“Brooke was great! Sent us texts and pics of Cosette and assured us Cosette was doing well! Difficult to find a pet sitter that you feel very comfortable with and know that your beloved pet is in good hands! We did!!!”

“John was amazing! Rover sitter extraordinaire. His place is perfect for active dogs and Walden got tons of ball throwing and activity time. John’s communication was great — clear info and support for pickup/drop off and fun pics throughout the stay. Thanks and we will be back in a future Burlington trip!”

“Our pup had a wonderful stay with Sonya! She enjoyed socializing with other doggy friends during her visit and she loved having an affectionate caretaker at her side. We were thrilled to receive daily updates and look forward to sending her back.”

About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.
“Rosan took such great care of our two dogs, and they were very happy and relaxed when we picked them up. Rosan was so flexible about our drop off and pick up times, and sent us lots of photos and updates over the weekend. I can’t recommend Rosan and his family strongly enough! 🐾🐾”

“Highly recommend! Laura was so accommodating with our crazy schedule, and her property is a dog’s paradise. Our pup loved romping around all weekend and was thoroughly tuckered out from his stay. Laura sent us pics to keep us updated and responded promptly to all messages. I’m sure our dog would be ecstatic to return to her place. Thank you!”
“My dog and I were immediately comfortable with Michele. She went above and beyond to exercise Wilson and keep him entertained. I got multiple updates and he looks so happy. We recently lost our other best dog friend of 14 years it's such a relief to have a compassionate competent caretaker to help keep my Wilson 3 years old feeling attended to and not alone.”

“Elfy had a wonderful stay with Natalie Patrick and their daughter. They are very welcoming and attentive. Good communication with photos. Their dog is very friendly.”

“Charlene took wonderful care of my 5 month old puppy while we were gone for a long weekend. She was happy to do the extra work a puppy sometimes requires, like giving her eye drops and softening her food with some pumpkin (that I provided). Our pup was safe and happy, and loved spending the weekend with Charlene and her dogs.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of a variety of dogs since I was young, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have raised goats and chickens for years. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor playtime and access to acres of wooded trails outside my backyard. I love hiking with dogs as well as playing outside. I treat each dog like a member of my family when they stay with me ensuring they are comfortable, loved, and getting their needs met. I look forward to getting to know your dog. I am available for boarding on the weekends and will customize the care to fit the need of your dog and take the lead from the owner. I have a fully fenced in yard for dogs to safely run around. I follow clear expectations provided by the owner and individualize care to the needs of each dog ensuring they are safe, happy, and comfortable.
“Jyotidipta and his family took exceptional care of Luna. From the start, they were warm, flexible, and incredibly accommodating. Luna can be a bit anxious when meeting someone new, but they handled it with patience and care, making sure she felt safe and at ease within just a few hours. Their home environment is attentive and engaging. Jyotidipta’s son played a big role in keeping Luna active and happy, with plenty of playtime, exercise, and walks throughout the day. I especially appreciated the regular updates. The photos and videos gave me full peace of mind and showed just how much attention and affection she was receiving. It’s clear Luna was not just looked after, but genuinely cared for. I would confidently recommend Jyotidipta to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful caregiver.”

“We hired Michele to come check on our cat when we had a last minute trip come up. She took wonderful care of Enzo and communicated very well. We are very happy with the care provided and recommend her services to anyone in the area.”

“Benjamin was amazing with my cat Pigeon. He's extremely thoughtful, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure my boy was comfortable while I was out of town for the holidays. He communicated every day, sent lots of pictures, and gave my cat the quality human time he very much needs. Pigeon loved hanging with him, and should I need to leave again, I know who to call!”

“Hailey did a great job with our two cats. Loved seeing the photos and having the little updates every day, and both cats were healthy and happy when we returned. Would definitely recommend!!”

“Hannah was very attentive to our cat’s needs, and very responsive to communication throughout watching her. We loved getting the updates; it made us feel at ease knowing Ophelia was in such good hands! Definitely would recommend.”

“We appreciate Barbara so much! She was on time, cared for both of our cats as requested, sent lots of pictures and an update each day, and gave them lots of needed pets and attention. We look forward to having her pet sit again the next time we go out of town!”

“Left our 2 kitties in Brooke's care while we were on an international trip and we couldn't have been happier! The text updates were the favorite parts of our day! She followed our cat-care directions and was very responsible. We never had to worry whether she was going to show up or not, which is a big relief when so far away from home. We'd definitely use her services again!”

“We were exceptionally pleased with Molly’s care for our two pets. We have one cat who likes to be petted than one that doesn’t, and she paid great attention to the one who needs it. The cats litter boxes, the area surrounding them ,in the kitchen where the cat food was were immaculate when we came home. She sent pictures with each visit to let us know how things were.Would not hesitate use her again anytime she was available if I needed pet care”

“We were very happy to have Jaime take care of our cat while we were away. Our cat is always slow to warm up to strangers and Jaime clearly went out of her way to be friend. We really appreciated the photos and informative report.”

“John is more than amazing. He is so caring, loving and kind to our Pup. Milkyway is so happy when we leave him and the entire family makes pup feel at home. I knew the first time I met John and his family they were an excellent choice. They treat pup as if he is one of their very own furr babies. I highly recommend John. Don’t think twice, contact John for his services.”

“We had a very very last minute need for a dog sitter and we were so fortunate to find Pete and Alex. They communicated so well and were so pleasant and welcoming! Leo had the absolute best time and came home tired out!”
“Dillion was great, communicated well and Enzo was well taken care of. Very nice backyard for the dogs to play and his two dogs were friendly and they all got along great! Would recommend and definitely book with Dillon again.”

“Was in a bind and needed a last minute first time sitter for our 7 month old pup. Brooke graciously accepted and took great care of him. He had a great day playing with Bailey and enjoyed some time snoozing as well! From a cautious puppy owner there are undoubtedly worries dropping them off for the first time, and we can’t express enough gratitude and thanks to Brooke for taking such great care of our very large and energetic pup!”

“Our dog had an amazing time at daycare with Jake and Echo! They sent us pictures every day to let us know how he was doing and his communication was fantastic. They were also super flexible and accommodating with our drop off and pickup schedule. By the end of the week our dog was so excited to go visit every day. Will absolutely be bringing him back in the future!”

About: I love animals so much, dogs being my favorite. I love creating a bond with them. They are Family to me. I have so much love and care to give. Friends and family can rely on me. I will take care of your furbaby as my own. I work from home and can have your doggie at my feet all day :) I can also provide many many more reviews that are not shown on rover - I am happy to share upon request I currently work part time at home. I have 2 kiddos that I drop off/pick up at school. I am flexible when it comes to accommodating to your schedule/needs. Your pup will stay at my house where he/she will receive lots of love, cuddles, be fed, let outside, and play. Did I mention cuddles? :) can’t wait! I live in a rural area away from the road. There is lots of privacy and woods around us. Lots of space to run and play both outside and in. I have a wireless collar available if that would make you feel more comfortable, it provides a specific perimeter to keep the dog from running far off. Right now I don’t use it. I will be with your dog the entire time :)
“We so appreciate the thoughtful care Tedi received with Rosan and Rhea. The photo updates Rhea sent are some of the most animated shots we have of Tedi's playful engagement with another dog.”

“Michele is a wonderful and thoughtful sitter. I have always felt very comfortable leaving my pup with her. He gets lots of time outside and joins them on walks when appropriate. I recommend her highly to anyone looking!”

About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.
“Eva was able to accommodate us at such late notice, and went out of her way to pick my boy up because we were unable to get to her. Rowan came back tired and content and we will definitely be bringing Rowan back!”
“Louis & Haley put Archie at ease right away with their calm, welcoming manner. It was his first visit and I left him for 3.5 hours. He was calm and happy when I picked him up. I know he would be happy to go back and hang with them again.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. I currently have a puppy who could accompany me on walks or drop-ins if you think your dog could benefit from seeing a play buddy. If not, I can do some quality 1:1 time with your pooch.

Walking, training and feeding dogs… scooping litter boxes, feeding and playing with cats… almost anything you can imagine when it comes to pet care! I’m currently looking for some extra work to save up for a place of my own. At the moment, I work morning shifts (5-12). Im looking for afternoon or overnight shifts! This could include walking, feeding, or a play and potty break! Pets in my house are treated with the most love and care I can provide. Lots of playtime and sometimes naps when both needed. I’m confident in my ability to handle anything needed from my clients and to take care of your animals as if they were my own. While your pets are in my care, they will be the center of my attention, and will get lots of walks and playtime, and for senior dogs, lots of belly rubs.

About: Hello! My name is Jenal, and I have 30 years of experience. I have grown up with breeds such as German Shepherds, Huskies, Retrievers, and Labs. Currently, I have a lovable Labradoodle and a dog that is an unknown mix, both of which are lovable and playful. Although I work during the day, I'd like to play with your dog throughout the day, at night, during the week, and on the weekends. I am looking to help with your dog while you are at work, on a date night, or out of town. I live in Milton but am willing to travel in Chittenden County and some of the Franklin County Area. I work full time during the week with the ability to flex my schedule. I am able to stop by on my way to work, pop in some time during the day, again after work and before bed time. During the weekends, my days are fairly open which allows for more flexibility. Safety and trust are very important. I would follow the expectations and maintain the routines of the owners. Therefore, this will look different in every household.

I'm currently in school right now and just trying to make a little extra money. Can walk or feed in between classes or come over after classes for a bit. Growing up with dogs I am very comfortable walking a dog, and putting them in a create if needed. Also am ok playing outside with them.
“I will definitely be using Alexandra again and again! She took so much care to ensure my dog was taken care of. She was very communicative and sent pictures each day that made me smile and made me feel confident that my dog was in good hands. She took my dog for nice long walks each day, and played with her and gave her lots of love. Very grateful that I found Alexandra - she's the best.”

About: If you need help with your pets, but don't want to leave them in just anyone's care, let me introduce myself. Hello, my name is Naomi! I am a veterinary technician who is looking to add some critters to my schedule. I grew up with a variety of pets and next door to my uncle’s dairy farm. I began pet sitting as a teenager and went on to pursue a degree in veterinary technology starting my senior year of high school. During my years as a certified veterinary technician, I have worked with a multitude of animals; from dogs and cats to hawks and racoons. I like to have fun and goof around with your pet but also love to spend time relaxing and cuddling. I provide regular photo updates and communications. I will let you know that I have arrived shortly after I have taken care of your pet’s immediate needs such as going potty, and I always send a closing message after a pet sit. (***Please note that this account was originally made for Hannah (Gracie) and I to pet sit together. Currently, it is rare that Gracie will join me for pet sitting, but not impossible. If your dates coincide with dates that Gracie is able to assist me in pet sitting, you will have chance to meet her either at an initial meet and greet or virtually to ensure that you are comfortable with both of us. She is amazing! She just isn't as free as she used to be). I typically work 10-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week This makes me available to spend time with your pet in the mornings and in the evenings on those days. On days off, I would be available for more of the day. I am currently available for walks and drop in visits multiple times throughout the day on Mondays and Wednesdays. Once in the morning and once in the evening on Fridays. And once in the evening Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please request the link to see my google doc calendar for my specific availability. The amount of time spent with each pet depends on my work schedule. Dogs will get at least one walk per workday with other outside time as well. On off days I will have more time to go on long walks or multiple walks. Plenty of cuddle and playtime always! I truly love spending time with animals; they will get plenty of attention in my care. I can also give medications to dogs and cats, and other care as needed. We can discuss your pet's specific needs prior to pet sitting and hopefully it is something that I can accommodate. I always try to keep their routine pretty similar to normal. About: My name is Amelia and I am in college studying animal sciences. I have experience with dogs walking, cat and fish care, and would love to help you and your pets out in any way I can! I’m currently a full time student, so I can pop in and out mid morning and in between classes throughout the week. I will make sure the animal gets a good chunk of my time and attention and will make sure not to rush them. It’s important the animal is safe and stimulated while I am with them. If I am dropping in to feed or take care of your pet I will ensure a clean environment and that they are enriched until a caretaker returns. If I am taking your pet on a walk I will cater to the dogs temperament and endurance. The pet’s experience (and their bathroom/food needs) is optimized.

I make sure your home stays secure, doors are locked, and your pet gets their regular feeding, fresh water, and potty breaks exactly as they do when you are there.
About: Hi, I’m Stevie! I’ve been around dogs my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them. I currently have two golden retrievers—one laid-back cuddle bug and one energetic puppy—so I’m very used to big personalities, lots of energy, and plenty of muddy paw prints. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments through walking, pet sitting, and volunteering with the Humane Society. I’m comfortable giving medications, supporting training routines, and helping pups who may be recovering from injuries or need a little extra patience. Whether your dog prefers long sniff-walks, a good run, or calm company on the couch, I’ll follow their routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. My priority is to give you peace of mind and give your dog the best day ever. I have a super flexible schedule thanks to online classes and a part-time caregiving job. I’m around most days and can adjust easily to what your pet needs. I’m very responsive and can usually accommodate last-minute requests. I follow your dog’s routine exactly as you prefer and can confidently handle crating if needed. I’m always open to a meet-and-greet so you feel fully comfortable before booking.

Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I exclusively provide care in clients' homes to help pets stay in their familiar environment. Whether it’s walks, feedings, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I follow your pet’s schedule and preferences closely.I always take time to learn each animal’s needs, from medications to favorite toys or hiding spots. I can also keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and loved while you're away.Your home is treated with the same respect and care I’d give my own—clean, secure, and just how you left it.

“Danielle was fantastic with my dog, Meg. I contacted her last-minute, and she was responsive, flexible, and professional. We did a meet-and -greet the night before, and she stayed in touch the whole weekend with thoughtful updates and photos. Meg came back calm, content, and clearly well cared for, no adjustment period needed. Danielle is caring, grounded, and highly attentive. You can tell she really sees the animals she’s working with. I’d absolutely book with her again.”
