“Farnaz is absolutely wonderful. She took great care of my 3 cats while I was out of town. She was punctual and patient with my shy babies. She made sure Chasie took his medicine and was able to pet Gracie who others have had a hard time finding. She was tidy, cleaned up messes and brought in packages. “My cat is almost 19 and has a lot of medical issues and requires multiple medications and subcutaneous fluids. Even though he is usually pretty good about all that, he still requires a lot more than most cats. Kayla and Demetrius agreed to learn how to do the subcutaneous fluids when they came for the meet and greet. They were able to give him all his needed pills and the fluids along with giving various foods when here to get him to eat as much as possible. They were great with daily communication to let me know what all they did for him that day. They seem to really enjoy being around animals and taking care of them and I would recommend them.”

About: Hello there! I’m Sam. I’ve loved animals since I was 9 years old and have been a pet sitter on Rover for over 4 years now. As you can see from all my reviews, I enjoy being part of this community! Currently, I have two fur babies of my own: Tango, a Norwegian Elkhound, and Scout, a Pitbull/Yorkie mix. In 2024, my beloved Timmy, a dachshund senior dog passed away at 15 years old, so I also have personal experience caring for older dogs who need a little extra love and specialized attention. About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life, growing up in a home with multiple pups of all sizes. From feeding and bathing to long walks and playtime, I’ve always been hands-on in making sure they’re happy and well cared for. In addition to dogs, I’ve also raised birds, turtles, and fish, so I’m comfortable caring for a variety of animals. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, and I always aim to make them feel safe, loved, and at home. I currently work from home so I’m able to provide physical comfort and stimulation via petting and playing with toys. We also have a dog park where I can take your pet for off leash running around and fetching. I have experience providing oral medicine for dogs. Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to care for their dogs and cats of all sizes while they travel or during emergencies. Everyone in our family has dogs, ranging from tiny Yorkipoos to big ol’ lab mixes, and I love them all! I currently have one rescue pup, Russell, who is 19 different breeds! My husband and I are both teachers, so we are home full-time during the summer with our two teenage kids. During the school year we work, but I’m usually home by 3:30. Our 13-year old daughter is interested in pursuing a career working with animals, so she will be assisting in the care of your pet. We have a large fenced yard and a dog-friendly house. We even have a doggie door for pups to come and go outside to the back yard as they need or want to. We have one 5-year old dog who gets along great with other pups. Usually when we dog sit, we have the visiting pup have a home base in our daughter’s room where they can be fed separately, have peace and quiet, and enjoy the best air conditioning in the house! We are a dogs on furniture house, and she even loves to let the dogs we are sitting sleep in her bed with her if they want. Your dog should expect many pets and snuggles at our house! If we are coming to your house, we will follow whatever routines and rules you’ve established for your pet. But still expect lots of love for your pet!
“Sorry for the late review. I've been doing the grandma thing for the past 2 weeks. I am a widow and I live alone many miles from family. My dogs, Margot and Molly, have become my life. When I learned that they were not invited to the party, I almost declined the invitation. Through a trusted friend, I learned about Rover. I took a chance and booked a time with Dawn. WOW! It's like taking your child to kindergarten for the first day and they walk away from you without looking back. I like to think the girls are good judges of character. Well Dawn took their leashes and they walked away from me without looking back They were not the least stressed when I picked them up later. They had play time with other dogs, they had their dinner and they were ready for a good night's sleep when I picked them up. I got updates on where they were and what they were doing. “First time ever using the app so I was really nervous about it, but DAMACIA made me feel completely at ease. She listened to all my concerns and how to take care of my sweet boy because he is hard of hearing. She took him on a walk around the neighborhood and Maximus seemed to enjoy it.
