About: I have been in the veterinary field for over five years. I have been a vet assistant, so I do have experience working with all times of pets. From all stages of life. I do have experience with giving medication and senior pets. I aim to learn the pet's habits to make sure they are happy while you are away. I'm currently working part-time. About: I’ve taken care of a verity of pets and owned anything from fish, Reptiles, Rodents, Cats, and Dogs. I can also do additional tasks such as cleaning and plant care. I am versatile and can stay at the house or commute. I am also experienced at giving medications to animals as well. About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. From housetraining puppies to caring for aging senior dogs, I have experience with a range of personalities/quirks and am very comfortable with large or hyperactive dogs and rescues. My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter, working predominantly with large dogs, so I understand how animals might behave when they are in a stressful environment and interacting with an unfamiliar person. I strive to provide a stress-free, comforting environment while you are away so please let me know what your pup loves the most! What you can expect: — Time outdoors, playing or on leashed walks — Cuddles and belly rubs — Lots of (approved) treats — Every effort to stick to your pet’s routine and establish clear boundaries! I can provide in-home doggy day care and boarding with a prior meet and greet* if your dog gets along with the two dogs in our home. Your pup will never be left alone with my dogs when I’m providing doggy day care or boarding, so I do require them to be crate-trained for overnight stays. I work full-time from home during the week but have a very flexible schedule. I can provide morning walks, drop in visits and afternoon playtime before lots of attention in the evening. About: I have 1 of my own dogs who lives with me. But I also have experience with a total of 4 dogs as my parents have 3. All are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am comfortable with all medium and small size dogs. I do request that they are house trained. I like to take dogs on walks but if they are smaller it is okay if they are not perfect at walking on a leash. I can even help work with them on that. I currently work a normal day job during the week. But I work remote, that means that the dogs would not be alone at all during the day. They would have someone to care for them, take them out and feed them if necessary. Every day it is not raining, I do go on a 1 mile walk with my dog on my lunch so that they get good exercise. HOUSE SITTING: I can work remote from your house providing care all day. However, my dog Charlie would also have to come with me. If this is something that you do not feel comfortable with, I can offer drop in help instead. I have 1 of my own dogs (Charlie) who lives with me full time. My apartment is fully equipped for a dog to be here safely. I have a balcony where the dogs can spend time enjoying the fresh air. My dog gets along with all other dogs and is very friendly as he used to go to daycare with many other dogs. I have the ability to walk the dogs, get them fresh air and exercise. I also have dog toys and bones available for them to use. Dogs are allowed in all areas of my place. Including the couch, dog beds and human beds. I live in a very rural, quiet part of Bedford in the middle of the woods, so along with a large yard, we have many trails, with plenty of space to run or go on leashed walks! I am available everyday of the week to come walk, let out, or keep your animal overnight! I’m free at any point of the day to help with a persons busy schedule. My dog was a rescue and can be easily intimidated, which makes her a little edgy, but she was given the space and love she needed, and seemed to thrive at their home.
