About: I have had pets all my life. Right now I have a rescue dog from China and another dog I just adopted from the culpeper shelter! I have 2 cats as well. One of my cats is a tripod therefore needs extra attention. The other cat is an orange boy so you know he’s a handful. I am in between jobs so I have plenty of time watch your pup! My husband also works from home 2 days a week. NO CHILDREN in the home. I have a very large quiet yard to let your dog out to play (fenced in) . I have room to set up crates and food stations. I feel that every dog can be a good dog if they are set up for success. Every walk we take is considered training and they will be given a chance to use their brain to their fullest potential. During your dogs walks I offer two types of walk options. The first walk I offer is a training walk where we will spend 15 minutes working on heeling and 15 minutes allowing the dog to smell and go potty. I also offer hikes where your dog will be allowed to walk 1-4 miles over varying terrain depending on their fitness level and ability to get along with other animals. We try to follow owners daily routines the best we can when you leave your dog in our care so that transitions from house to house go as smooth as possible. I am well versed in giving medication and injections for dogs and I am happy to board dogs with special needs. I do ask that dogs are reasonably crate trained so that if they need to be left unattended for any amount of time they can remain in a crate for their safety. I am happy to discuss specific needs as far as crating goes. I am currently only working part time hours and am home most of the days. When I am not a home the pets are carefully monitored by camera in a dog safe part of the house. And given different items to keep them busy and enjoying their alone time. Whenever they have been in the crate they can expect a nice long romp around the property to give them ample time to use their nose and get a good run in. I have a fenced in small dog yard and we have a perimeter fence around our entire property allowing an additional level if security. When our on walks we make sure harnesses and collars are fit correctly and if there is a chance of a dog being a flight risk we take extra measures to prevent dogs from slipping out of collars. I am experienced in off leash trained dogs and I am happy to follow any specific instructions for what owners are comfortable allowing their dogs to do.

About: Thank you for considering our services. I work from home on specific projects and work part time tutoring, babysitting and petsitting; so that I can spend time with our furry babies. Currently, I split my week between Fairfax and Culpeper for projects. I am available to provide quality dog/cat sitting for your furry babies in the comfort of your home. I care about animals and take care of the pets I sit as if they were my own. I love animals, especially dogs! I have had dogs all my life. My father and brothers were dog breeders. I grew up with 14 dogs at home (ranch/farm), cows, horses, chickens, bees, bunnies, chicks, roosters, and lots of dogs. I have the privilege of being Kahlúa, Bailey and Brandy’s “hooman”! They are part of the family and travel with us everywhere. They are well cared for, well fed, groomed, exercised, socialized and constantly stimulated with dog obedience training. About: I have been pet sitting and house sitting for 1+ days at a time for about 11 years. I treat every home with respect and all pets as my own. I love bonding with and meeting new animals! Each family I've sat for has called me back to sit for them again! Additionally, I have met many new doggos when babysitting in new family's homes. I always treat the pets just as well as the kiddos, giving them lots of love and behind the ear scratches. My family has always had dogs and I've loved dogs of all breeds since I was a little girl. I am a full time speech-language pathologist during the school year, but have flexibility in my schedule and I’m working from home half of the week. I am available for am/pm/afternoon drop in/walk visits and some weekends depending on location and dates. In your home I am comfortable and confident in my abilities taking your dogs out for walks on leashes, or leaving them out in the backyard to get some movement. I can stay and play for a while as needed to give them attention. I have a loving pit-mix at home. If our dogs got along we could potentially plan on having your pet come stay with us for a week/weekend! Additionally, we do have enough space (2 level home), a crate, and a fenced in yard so we can accommodate having another dog who does not get along with other dogs.
About: I am owned by my Australian Shepherd mix Luke, Flat Coat Retreiver Mack, chihuahua mix Dover and Jack Russel Dallas and I am here to put your mind at ease while you go on vacation or out of town for a business trip! I also have extensive experience with the feline variety. I am an EMT-B for humans, but I have also taken training classes in dog/cat CPR and Heimlich. Not that we will need it. I have experience in administering medication by mouth, IM injections and testing blood glucose. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I would prefer to stay in your home so that the fur kid will be more comfortable and maybe it will help with any separation anxiety. I do not mind bringing in the mail or any other task that may be similar.
