About: I am a retired military vet i served in the Army for twenty one years. I have cared for dogs my entire life. No matter what size the dog is I can handle them. They call me the dog whisperer. Most times people ask me what did I do to make the dog relax. I have a really soft caring voice, that is very tusting I will care for cats but I don't have as much experience with cats as I do with dogs. I will also care for other animals if needed I also have knowledge to house train puppies. I am fully aware of how to treat a older dogs with medical issues. Bottom line leaving your dog with me is like leaving them with family I work part time. I don't work weekends or holidays. I will have more than enough time with your fur baby. I'm home most days. All day I have a fenced in yard. I also have a doggie door so they will have full access inside and out. I find most dogs really enjoy that

I work Sunday through Wednesday, so my Thursdays through Saturdays are completely dedicated to your pup! My black Labrador, Bella, and I typically walk 1–2 miles three times a day. On hotter days, we switch to indoor enrichment and training games instead of long walks. Whether your dog loves an adventure or prefers a slower pace, I’m happy to tailor their stay to their individual needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only accept dogs that are a good fit for my home and Bella, and I always recommend a meet-and-greet beforehand. About: I have two dogs of my own one of which I trained to be my personal service dog. My second dog we originally were fostering and we adopted her because she fit into our family perfectly and became our other pups best friend. I actively foster puppies and kittens. I’ve done crate training and all the potty scaries with puppies. I’m extremely patient with them and try to meet each dog where they are at. I have experience giving medications to pets as one of my cats has to have daily oral medication. About: Hello there! I absolutely adore animals. I spent 3 years at the SPCA, working directly with the animals and fostering. My friends and I started our own rescue, SFC Virginia Animal Rescue. I know how hard it is to trust your dog is in good hands, and to feel happy, and safe. I love snapping photos and sharing with you all that me and your fur baby do during our visit, (and not afraid to inspect poop to ensure your pet is healthy and report when a concern.) My dogs have been through various trainings and would be happy to share my knowledge while I spend time with your pet. I have over 5 years experience with pets with medical needs varying from administering sub-q fluids to medications to inhalers for the cat-kiddos. My girl has hypo-thyroid and has to take a pill twice a day. With my experience with medically-needy animals I am hyper aware of the smallest changes in behaviors in a short period of time and can offer varying tricks with administering for the ones who aren’t big fans. Side note: I do have travel minute limit, for those east of 95, that is within the time limit if the $5ish toll is taken, otherwise it would take over 30 mins. If you are okay with an additional charge of $6 to cover toll, I will be more than happy to assist! I work from home so I get a lot of quality time with my babies. Where I see opportunities to train, I take advantage. Training is a daily on going activity. My animals eat twice a day on snuffle mats with a kibble and veggie/fruit medley. I will read the vibes and either interact more or keep a distance depending on their body language and how they are reacting to me. She was incredibly flexible, kept us updated with messages and photos, and made us feel at ease knowing our pups were in good hands. She also has two dogs of her own, and they got along great with ours, which made the experience even better. Our dogs came home happy and well cared for.
