About: Not only did I grow up with 2-3 dogs in the house, but my mom has worked for a dog rescue the last 10 years. My family has fostered more than 100 dogs ranging from newborn puppies to end of life care for senior dogs. I have helped with everything from feeding, cleaning, creating enrichment, and exercising dogs of all sizes and ages. I am currently taking time off of work before I move abroad for graduate school in September so am completely flexible! I will have plenty of time to dedicate to your pets health and happiness! About: I’ve taken care of dogs all of my life. Walking my neighborhood dogs when their owners were away and having 3 dogs of my own. We currently have an Australian Shepherd who is almost 3. We e had him since he was a puppy. I currently work from home so have time to care for your pup. We have a large fenced in yard and walk our dog down the street daily. About: I’ve been walking dogs and doing check ins for family pets since middle school! I am currently a pre-vet student at JMU, but I spend my summers home in Earlysville. I would say this has been a “serious” job of mine since I started highschool. I’ve spent a few days a week for the past few summers pet sitting. I’m new to the app because I’ve been so lucky to have a lot of regular clients, and was then recommended to their friends. I’m just trying to expand my client pool as much as possible:) I have 3 dogs of my own, and one of them lives with me in my college apartment. I’ve had dogs all my life, but I also currently shadow at a vets office, work with the animal health team at the RHSPCA, and volunteer at the VA wildlife center. I absolutely love all animals and would be thrilled to meet new furry friends! I will be shadowing at the vet 3 days a week, but only until 1pm. On those days I am free in the afternoon to check on your pets! Most weekends, along with days I am not doing that, I can set aside time to come see your pets:) I will readily follow whatever instructions you may have. I am used to taking dogs on walks, but also fine with just letting them out in your yard and chilling on the couch. Whatever you and your pet need, I’m sure we can make it work:)

I have house trained them, crate trained them and trained them on the invisible fence for the yard. They always get lots of love and have lots of toys to play with, both inside and outside. I live on a quite street which ends in a cul-da-sak. So I will walk them at least 2 times a day The most important thing is they must get along with other dogs. I have a invisible fence in my yard and can certainly put your dog on it if they are trained on one. Otherwise I will go out with them and walk them. If they are well trained and can be lose a return on command they can play in the yard with my girls.

She has since gotten older so I have experience with a senior dog and giving any sorts of medication (and the peanut butter necessary to get her to take it). I am no stranger to having to clean up any accidents in the house so that is a non-issue for me. I am also open to taking care of other animals like rodents or turtles or other cage creatures. He was with them for and extended time and was very happy there. Mike and Pam even allowed us to pickup Baxter late in the evening when our flight was Florida was delayed by 5 hours. About: Hi there! My name is Catherine. I have grown up with dogs in my house and have always had a passion for animals. I always want to make sure your furry family members feel comfortable and loved while you’re away! I am reliable and make sure to communicate clearly when a problem arises, or just to send pictures because I know you miss your pet. I love going for walks around my neighborhood and make sure to give plenty of cuddles! I am in online school full-time, so I can your pet my full attention during the day. I am very active during the day and am never in the same spot twice, so there will be lots of activity if your dog needs it. I live in a gated community and can accommodate crated dogs. I also do not mind your dog being on the furniture! I do not currently own a pets and I live in a smoke-free household.
“Jocelyn was a great person to board with. I've never had used a personal boarder before. We always used a kennel. She was good, she found her calling. She loves animals. She took good care of my Sadie. She sent me a few pictures of my pup and when I reached out she always responded in a timely manner. She asked about pups schedule about all of her needs. She was great.”

“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
