About: I have been around dogs my whole life. They truly are a man’s bestfriend. At home I have a beautiful white lab, he is 95lbs of pure love thinking he’s a lapdog. I also have a King Charles Cavalier that is the princess of the house. She is so happy and spunky and keeps us all laughing. Previously I have owned Cocker Spaniels, other Labs and a Maltese. I started dogsitting when I was 11 years old. I had just arrived at my grandparents house and I saw this little dog wandering around and he ran right to me and I saw the owner walking towards me up the road. The puppy let me pick him up and we walked all the way to the owner. He and his wife were pilots so whenever they were flying I was working and I was ecstatic to have my first job looking after their two dogs. Through the years I’ve done Bathing, walks, feeding, medications, shots , vet trips, etc. I truly love dogs and seeing them happy, and giving their families peace of mind that their beloved pups will be well loved while they are gone. I send texts and pictures of each visit and keep in communication with the family. If you choose to trust me with your four legged family member I guarantee they will be well taken care of and loved. I am a teacher so I have Summers to offer. My Schedule throughout the school year fills up so book in advance because I also do tutoring, and nannying throughout the week. About: In our home your dog will receive a lot of love from our family and companionship from our two dogs. We have a golden retriever and a Bernese mountain dog. They are both 3 years old. We have bred each of them once and are used to having small puppies around. We have a large, fenced backyard for your dog to play safely. Your dog will be part of the family during their stay. We will take them on daily walks and will receive lots of cuddles. Besides intermittent outings, I will be home with your dog, the whole time. I have had dogs for many years, but I have dog sat dogs for the last two years. Your dog will be a part of our family. I homeschool my children and so we are home most of the time. We do have outings but are usually back within 4 hours. I can usually accommodate our schedule if your pet needs care more often than that, if I know in advance. I have a fenced back yard and two dogs of my own. I can also crate the dogs or separate the different areas of the house if there are any safety concerns.

I grew up always having a cat and a dog in the house and taking progressively more responsibility for their care as I got older. I often find myself going out on multiple long walks throughout the day and generally finding any excuse I can to be outside. So why not use that time to hang out with some new animal friends? My flexible schedule means that I can accommodate most any pet needs. I go for multiple walks every day both on my own and with my own dogs, so it's easy to incorporate lots of activity in your pet's day. I also have an enclosed front porch that we all love sitting outside in the shade on, just enjoying the fresh air. And on hot days, I even have a kiddie pool that one of my dogs likes to play in to cool off. Both my dogs are very friendly and would love to make new friends! One of my cats even enjoys horsing around with the dogs. My dogs have free reign in the house, but usually hang out with me. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. Before moving back to Northern Virginia in 2023, I also owned a successful pet-sitting business in St. Croix, USVI. My own pets have taught me a lot as well—my pit mix, Bella, survived both a fighting-breed environment and Hurricane Maria, and my two rescue bassets struggled with separation anxiety, as well as our Moluccan cockatoo we raised from a nestling. Those experiences reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and consistency. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. I’m also available for last-minute needs and those holiday plans that sometimes run longer than expected. Above all, I take this work seriously and will care for your pet with the same love I give my own. 🐾🖤 Working mainly from home allows me the flexibility to plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.
About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs on a farm, apartment, townhouse, etc. I have experience with many different personalities, energy levels, and breed needs I currently have two dogs of my own, a great pyrenees and a golden retriever. I’ve also worked at a veterinary clinic as a vet tech, gaining additional experiences with animal care, health needs, and proper handling. I beleive no dog should be judged by their breed or put under a general label. I focus on their body language and individual personalities, while still addressing breed needs. I currently am working 32-40 hours a week that gives me a certain level of flexibility to match your schedule. I receive my schedule every Saturday, two weeks posted at a time. I will give full transparency if there are any schedule conflicts. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pet in someone else’s care, they’re your family! My goal is to always make sure both you and your pet few safe, supported, and at ease while you’re away. I do my best to follow your pet’s routing exactly the way you do at home, adjusting to whatever care instructions you prefer. I am also more than happy to provide updates as often as you’d life, whether that’s daily or hourly check-ins, photos, or videos so you can see how your pet is doing. I pay close attention to your pet’s behavior, health, and surroundings, making sure they’re safe and comfortable both inside the home and in outdoor spaces. I keep information on local vets and emergency clinics on my phone. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would my own!

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. They truly are a man’s bestfriend. At home I have a beautiful white lab, he is 95lbs of pure love thinking he’s a lapdog. I also have a King Charles Cavalier that is the princess of the house. She is so happy and spunky and keeps us all laughing. Previously I have owned Cocker Spaniels, other Labs and a Maltese. I started dogsitting when I was 11 years old. I had just arrived at my grandparents house and I saw this little dog wandering around and he ran right to me and I saw the owner walking towards me up the road. The puppy let me pick him up and we walked all the way to the owner. He and his wife were pilots so whenever they were flying I was working and I was ecstatic to have my first job looking after their two dogs. Through the years I’ve done Bathing, walks, feeding, medications, shots , vet trips, etc. I truly love dogs and seeing them happy, and giving their families peace of mind that their beloved pups will be well loved while they are gone. I send texts and pictures of each visit and keep in communication with the family. If you choose to trust me with your four legged family member I guarantee they will be well taken care of and loved. I am a teacher so I have Summers to offer. My Schedule throughout the school year fills up so book in advance because I also do tutoring, and nannying throughout the week. I would love to meet you and your pup. Just reach out! I will not be able to have any dogs in my home personally because of home owner restrictions. In the clients home I would provide feelings, walks, medication, or whatever else the puppy would need. If there is a history of dogfights or biting I am not the person for you.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I can remember. Grew up with livestock, normal pets too. I have experience pet sitting, dog walking, dog and cat nail trims too. I needed better work life balance than what my normal 9-5 could give me. My schedule is pretty flexible at the moment and I am looking forward to making new business relationships. I always make sure to give plenty of belly rubs( if their into that) play time and quality attention when visiting a clients home. Check water bowls before leaving. I have had many issues with past sitters being dishonest and not following my guidance but I HIGHLY recommend Tanine!!! I have two very high energy pups (golden doodle and lab). She kept me updated, good and bad, and made sure to give my pup his meds with enough time for them to be effective prior to crating. She ensured to make them as comfortable as possible through the day and I truly appreciate her level of care. I specifically chose her due to the training background and I am so glad I followed through though there were not many reviews. I did not have to ask for pictures or updates throughout. She has small children that seem to love dogs so I know my pups received comfort as they love children. She is a gem!
