I’m currently back home for the summer and am available anytime of the day! I am open to last minute drop ins if needed. I’m more than happy to spend as much time as needed with the pets. I can feed, walk, play, and clean for them, as well as give medication on time.
About: I’ve cared for my friends' dogs, who always trust me with their pets, and I also looked after cats during college. I’ve been a sitter on Rover for two years, including caring for sick dogs. I’m experienced in administering medication—even if they give me the ‘puppy eyes’ while trying to avoid it! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because it’s something I truly enjoy and prioritize. While I have a full-time day job during standard business hours, I make time in the mornings, evenings, and weekends to care for pets. I plan my schedule carefully to ensure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need. Whether it’s early morning walks, evening playtime, or weekend drop-ins, I’m committed to making sure every pet in my care feels happy and comfortable. I ensure pets are fed and have clean drinking water at all times. I provide regular physical activity through walks and playtime, and I engage them in conversation for mental stimulation. I also follow any instructions given by the owner to the letter, ensuring their routines and preferences are respected.
About: I have worked in pet care/home care for over a decade! I work as a dog walker for a company in Berryville, and I also work as a groomer for a Newfoundland Breeder with show dogs. I have had experience as a vet technician as well! I am comfortable will all types of dogs and would love to meet yours❤️ I provide daily dog walking services and breaks, in home boarding or house sitting. Dog walking and pet care is more then simply providing the basics, I appreciate the trust that owners give when having someone provide care for there beloved animals. Respect, genuine love, trust and a building relationship goes into each pet a care for. Pet care is full time for me, and I am available weekly and in the weekends. My schedule is generally flexible and I can usually accommodate even last min requests. However I do occasionally have a fully scheduled week and any house sitting or dog sitting requests would be easier to schedule with a couple weeks notice. I do not currently have a fenced in yard, but I provide walks and potty breaks by walking on a leash as needed. I live close to 2 dog park’s and I love to take them there to burn off energy ( as long as dog parks are not an overwhelming experience and the owner agrees it is ok to visit one ), I also enjoy bringing them along as a running and hiking buddy on the several nature trails near me. If I am watching a pet in their own home, I will just keep up with the normal routine as stated by the owner, and of course always check with you to make sure any new activities we try are ok
About: I am a fun and adventurous pet sitter! I have had pets since the age 8, dogs and cats. I have pet sat for my friends, and their pets always have a fun time with me. I am loving and affectionate, I never just leave the pet hanging. I enjoy a pet’s company and make sure they are entertained and loved on. I have 2 indoor/outdoor cats myself! I love going on car rides with dogs and great walks! I am not afraid of a large or an old dog, all pets deserve love. I just got laid off so I am free as a bird to help you with your pet needs! I love all animals, cats, dogs, parrots, I love them all! I make sure the animals have food and clean water, something warm they can relax on. I love to take dogs on walks and keep them entertained. “What an amazing experience! From the very beginning Kristen was so helpful! This was our very first experience using Rover, and also our first experience with leaving our precious Furbaby in someone else’s care! We drove all the way from Florida to visit Washington DC and unfortunately we were not able to bring Eleanor with us to the Smithsonian museums! Lol! So we were in need of someone to take care of her while we were sightseeing and I am so thankful that we found Kristen and her beautiful farm! We left Eleanor at the farm for three days, and it seems like she had a blast! Kristen was great with communicating even though I was a little neurotic about checking on Eleanor, she had no hesitation with reassuring me that Eleanor was in good hands, and well taken care of!
