About: I have had animals since I was very young. I love all types of dogs, and have experience dealing with high energy as well as more relaxed dogs. I also have experience with fostering and rehoming dogs. I work part-time, and set my own hours, so I will have plenty of free time for the dogs! I am open to a set schedule or to flexible, one-off walks and boarding. I live in a log cabin on 10 acres in northern Albemarle county. I have a great field for walks and throwing toys. About: I have cared for animals since I was little. We have had all kinds of pets from (hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs, and cats). My 12 year old daughter loves animals and has worked over the years with dog sitting for hours at their house and walking the dogs in our neighborhood. I am a teacher. I am off during the summer and we are home every day. Even if I am not here for a few hours, I have two responsible tweens that are very capable of loving and caring for your pet. We live in a duplex with a mid size back yard. It is not fenced in, but I can put them on a long leash if needed for running. We also have a mile long road that makes a circle of our neighborhood. Even though our subdivision is under construction, we will have a pond and a play area for our dogs to play. We also are able to crate if needed. We have a small dog of our own that would love company and we have a guinea pig that stays in the living room in a fenced in area (which we can put in a cage in a bedroom if needed). Our dog is not crated and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in our beds.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family, friends, and strangers since I was a freshman in high school. No matter the job and tasks required I’ve always been reliable in getting things done! I’m currently in graduate school to become an athletic trainer, so a full-time job doesn’t fit well with my class schedules. About: Just the 2 of us. Our sweet boy crossed over the rainbow bridge, and while we’re not quite ready to get another dog, we love making new paw friends! We both work from home, and have opposite schedules when leaving the house, so one of us is normally home! It’s a perfect set up for your pups ‘home away from home.’ We take at least 2 walks a day, plus dog parks and car rides! Dogs are free to roam around the house and fenced in yard.

About: Not only did I grow up with 2-3 dogs in the house, but my mom has worked for a dog rescue the last 10 years. My family has fostered more than 100 dogs ranging from newborn puppies to end of life care for senior dogs. About: I’ve taken care of many different size pets. Usually different dog breeds, everything from a yorkie to a bull mastiff. Older dogs 10 years plus and even puppies for a bit of time. Usually I provide weekend services unless they are allowed to be in a crate for an extended period of time. I prefer not to keep them in a crate. Usually I will drop my pet off at my parents house so it makes it easier to focus and stay on top of each pets needs.

About: I'm Anya! I've loved animals my entire life. I believe I would be a good fit for your pet because I have experience with pets of all ages! I am looking to pursue a career in veterinary technology, meaning your pets wellness & health is very important to me! I have worked in a number of animal hospitals, including a a 24-hour emergency hospital, which has given me a lot of experience! My dog works well with others so there shouldn't be any issues boarding your pup if needed. I would also be able to take your dog to the park & play with them to make sure they get the exercise needed, or if they’re more laid back & would prefer to snooze, they would be able to do that as well. **Please let me know in advance if your pet has any aggressive tendencies. I look forward to loving & caring for your pet as if they were my own! When I am not at work, I am at home with my son. I am able to come over for walks or to play with your pet while you are away! I care for others pets as I would my own. If I am watching more than 1 at a time, I make sure they are all comfortable & happy so no one gets hurt & adjust as needed. I make sure each pet gets enough attention & love!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, and chickens. I have been responsible for taking care of them throughout my childhood. In high school, I would dog sit for neighbors and family friends. In college, I would house sit as well as walk dogs. I currently have 1 dog of my own. I have cared for elderly dogs who require additional care as well as anxious dogs that need that extra attention and reassurance. I am home for the summer before going to law school and my schedule is very open and flexible! I love spending times with dogs and animals, so I am eager to do so this summer. My personal dog is fairly anxious and attached so I care for her by crating her when leaving for more than a couple of hours as this is a safe soothing place for her. My family’s dog is less anxious so she is fine by herself. Generally, I walk them once a day through the neighborhood, occasionally take them to dog parks, and play in the backyard with them. We have a doggy door so they go in and out frequently, but I have house sat and dog sat animals in apartment complexes where I would to take them out frequently during the day.

About: I have had animals since I was very young. I love all types of dogs, and have experience dealing with high energy as well as more relaxed dogs. I also have experience with fostering and rehoming dogs. I work part-time, and set my own hours, so I will have plenty of free time for the dogs! I am open to a set schedule or to flexible, one-off walks and boarding. I live in a log cabin on 10 acres in northern Albemarle county. I have a great field for walks and throwing toys. I have a lot of in-home hobbies, so any dog or cat hanging out with me will get a whole lot of attention and love while they are here.

About: Hi there! My name is Catherine. I have grown up with dogs in my house and have always had a passion for animals. I always want to make sure your furry family members feel comfortable and loved while you’re away! I am reliable and make sure to communicate clearly when a problem arises, or just to send pictures because I know you miss your pet. I love going for walks around my neighborhood and make sure to give plenty of cuddles! I am in online school full-time, so I can your pet my full attention during the day. I am very active during the day and am never in the same spot twice, so there will be lots of activity if your dog needs it. I live in a gated community and can accommodate crated dogs. I also do not mind your dog being on the furniture! I do not currently own a pets and I live in a smoke-free household.

I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
