About: I’ve been in the general field of caretaking for about 6 to 7 years. I was a full time nanny to a family of 7 children and 3 dogs for a few years before I married, and before that, I had multiple families for whom I watched their little ones, including the family dog/dogs. I also did some exclusive pet sitting apart from my previously mentioned work experience. I managed both kids and pets at once. I’ve gotten to know a variety of dog breeds. Growing up, we always had dogs. We’ve had a labradoodle, a few small mixed breeds, and a bernedoodle. Our bernedoodle, Rocco, I trained myself. He is the gentlest dog I’ve ever met and so smart. I taught fun tricks but also some useful ones like how to ring bells to indicate he needed to potty. I have loved being around dogs and having them in my life. We don’t currently have a dog since my two kids are young, so we can’t afford our own pup right now, although we certainly will get one in the future. That’s why I’m so excited to be able to provide other people’s dogs a warm and welcoming home away from home where they will be loved on and feel at ease. I’m a full time stay at home mom, so I’m almost always home. Apart from grocery shopping, minor errands, church on Sundays, or the rare trip to families, we are home all the time. Dogs that stay with us will have pretty much constant companionship and attention. We will be available for drop offs everyday except most of Sunday. Sunday evenings will be open though. Dogs that love a family environment will thrive here. We are usually up for the day around 7:00 am. My son loves dogs and will happily have a full conversation with them. He has grown up around many dogs because my mom has dogs and is a seasoned rover sitter herself. My husband works in the evenings so dogs will probably stay up and hang out with me as we unwind. We have a fenced in backyard so I can sit on our deck and let the dogs run, play, and potty easily and frequently. We live on a very quiet and friendly Cul-de-sac in the mountains of West Virginia, near Winchester. Dogs that come here will have a peaceful stay and have a lot of fun!

About: Hi there, my name is Kristina and I’ve just recently moved to the Winchester area! Caring for animals has always been one of the greatest joys in my life. With years of experience, looking after pets of all ages, personalities and needs I’ve built a reputation for being reliable, attentive and genuinely invested in each animals wellbeing. One of the biggest advantages of working with me is that I work from home full-time, this means that your pets will never be left unattended and I am able to give them consistent attention to ensure they feel safe and comfortable throughout the day. We keep a clean home and have a basement that lets out into a small backyard. I have one X-Large kennel if your pup prefers to sleep in one as well as a puppy pad corner for those late night bathroom breaks. I would be happy to provide a tour our home upon request.

About: I cared for my family dog for 12 years until she passed, as well as cared for my family and friends furry animals over the years. I’m currently working full time. During the week, I can be available before 8:00am, afternoons, and after 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Weekend schedule is flexible. I’ll make sure they are safe at all times, and well taken care of. Take them on walks, feed them if needed, and play of course!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every shape and size since I was born. I was an infant cuddling with our massive doberman! My friends, family, and neighbors always knew they had a reliable pet sitter as long as I was around. I also ran on Harrisonburg Rescue Squad as an EMT for about 2 years, which has taught me excellent hard and soft skills in the case of an emergency. I’m working part time right now, so I’m able to spend as much time as needed with your lovely pooches (or other animals)! I mostly work nights on the weekends, but am able to adapt my schedule, if needed. :) I absolutely respect a given owner’s rules for their pets. In my own home, we raised our pit bull to listen and be intentional, and he is an amazing boy. About: Hi! Paloma** 🐾 I’ve had dogs for year, three, in fact, over the course of my life. I recently said goodbye to my last pup, and while I’m not ready for a full time dog in my home just yet, I miss it all deeply: the walks, the game of fetch, the pure joy and love only a dog can give. I am not new to dog care, I’ve looked after many dogs over the years, but this is my first time doing it through Rover! I’d love the chance to give your pup some of that same love and attention while you enjoy a vacation, work trip or time away. I treat every dog like my own, patient, attentive, and always up for a good walk or a solid game of fetch. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! I work 9-6 hybrid, Monday thru Friday with somedays being fully remote. I am home most weekends and spend my free time walking, doing arts and crafts or gardening. Peace of mind is definitely important when it comes to my fur babies, I know that first hand. I can send check in photos with every walk, treat and meal if that is what you wish. I like to also take them to the dog park in my neighborhood if they play well with others. 3 walks a day minimum will be provided unless more are required. I currently working on building a fence to m a backyard and should be completed but end of September!

Even would watch the neighbors pets when they went away. Most recently, I have watched/stayed with a dog when the family traveled. Love all animals, but especially dogs!
