About: I’ve lived with dogs as long as I can remember and have had a significant part in their care for about 10 years. The last 4 years I’ve been the primary caregiver for my pets. Since I was a teenager I’ve been the designated pet and house sitter for friends and family! I currently work full time but work from home two days per week. My mornings before work and evenings after work are dedicated to the pups. If necessary I am able to take a long lunch for some extra pup time. I have a fully fenced in yard where my friendly pups love to play and a puppy proofed home. Pets are welcome anywhere people are allowed, including furniture. My 2 dachshunds are super outgoing with other dogs and can keep up with big dogs! In a client’s home I will take into account any of the house rules of the pet parents.

About: I've loved dogs for the longest time and ever since I've had my own, you quickly realize they are more than a pet, they are family. My dog and I will treat your dog just like family during their visit. I succeeded well in training my dog on my own from house training, to off leash, to playing hide and seek, and I understand the important component of upholding and instilling any of your training while you're not present. As of June 30th, I no longer work remotely, but work very close to home. I still will have plenty of time to give your pup comfort and attention throughout the day. I am available most weekdays and weekends, but may become more limited depending on the season. I have 1 dog, a small Yorkshire Terrier who is known as Mr. President because he loves to greet and befriend each pet or person he sees, no matter the size. He is super friendly and playful and would love to be a great friend and playmate with your pup. I can easily crate your dog if needed with one you provide or with one of my own crates or expandale play pens. My yard is open, but there is plenty of space for fun. I enjoy long walks, so if your pup needs to get in multiple miles, I can make that happen. I have a multi level townhome. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the home except for the kitchen. If your dog loves the outdoors, i have a small deck and a small enclosed front balcony they can hang on. There are plenty of toys and puzzles, but you are of course welcome to provide their favorite toy.

I grew up with an Australian Shepherd who can be very anxious, so I’m used to being patient with nervous pets and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I’ve pet sat for animals of all different temperaments, including a cat with a more aggressive personality, so I understand the importance of respecting each animal’s boundaries and adapting to their individual needs. I love spending time outdoors and taking walks, and I know the Richmond area well. With two years of professional housekeeping experience, I’m comfortable caring for both pets and homes with the same level of respect and attention to detail I’d want for my own. My goal is to provide dependable care for both your pet and your home, while making sure your pet feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away! I work about 20 hours a week as an esthetician and make my own schedule, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. Because I set my own hours, I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so I would love to fit pet care into my routine. I believe every pet is different, so I do my best to follow their normal routine and make them feel as comfortable as possible. In a client’s home, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while keeping up with their feeding schedule and any specific instructions you provide. For cats staying in my home, I’ll provide a calm, safe environment where they can settle in at their own pace. Having lived with multiple cats of various personalities, I understand that some cats are social while others prefer their space, and I’m happy to accommodate both! I will stay in regular communication, providing updates and photos so you always know how they’re doing!
About: My daughter and I have been doing Rover together for years. This summer, she is home from school at UVA and excited to help out with additional tasks like dog walking and house sitting! We have both had dogs our entire lives, all sizes and life stages. We began Rover in 2019 after losing our 10 yr old black lab to diabetes, looking to keep our home lively. We are both excited to meet your pets and help out! I work from home and will be with your best friend all day long. I am up early for my morning walk and would love the company of your dog! I live in a great dog friendly community, we have lots of great green space and multiple dog parks within walking distance! Would happily spend the day with your dog at the dog park if that is a good place for them.

About: I’ve been around animals for almost 30 years, with my parents already having dogs before I was born and growing up with them. My sister and I got our first dog at 10, and have known the responsibility and dedication that is required to take care of them. I now have two cats, the oldest being almost 7, and I understand how special that bond is with animals. I am eager and ready to assist those who are in need of services, and I’m ready to care for and love for your pet as if it were my own! About: Call me Libby :) Dogs are my absolute passion in life! I was raised in a home with dogs and I’ve been a personal pet owner for over 10 years. I have experience raising and fostering puppies, seniors, and everything in between! I’ve had dogs in hospice care, with special needs, medical issues, etc. I have basic training skills and there are no stairs in my home in case your dog can’t use them. I have a large fenced in yard for play time or sunbathing in a safe and quiet neighborhood. They will be treated as if they are my own and loved on for every minute they are in my care! I run my own business so my work hours are flexible. I never leave the home for more than 4-5 hours at the absolute maximum. My 2 dogs and I go on evening walks everyday (after it’s cooled off in the summer time) and lots of outdoor time in between. My life revolves around my dogs needs so yours will fit in perfectly! I have a large fenced in yard and crates of different sizes if you need or want them to be crated. I have two friendly dogs so your baby will never be alone. My youngest dog will be a loving companion to your pet and make sure they feel like they’re at home. Whether that’s playing or napping, he will fall in love with them instantly!
