About: Animals definitely perceive my positive attitude, and people do too. I genuinely love making cats and dogs happy. I often talk to any animal quite a bit because I believe a calm tone of voice is good for them psychologically. Additionally, I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout the years, working in kennel facilities and through ownership, and I understand what is required to keep them happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule, with much time to ensure your pets get the exercise he or she needs, and the attention they deserve. They won't be lonely while you're away! Additionally, I can administer any medications necessary and follow any special dietary restrictions. Your cats and dogs are in good hands with me! I center taking care of my own animals around my daily schedule. I do my best to keep their regular feeding times ,and for my dogs walking times at expected hours. It can be difficult, but it wouldn't be fair for them to not know what to expect. So ultimately, I adjust my required needs around their schedule in terms of errands, and etcetera. I care for pets in a way they are accustomed to; meaning regular schedules for feeding, walks and/or medication. If they are staying in my home, I would try to provide the most comfortable accommodations as possible while awaiting their people. But in a client's home, I would just coddle the pet, give them comfort, and again - keep them on the schedule they are accustomed to.

About: Please note we are in Troy near Zions Crossroads (about 20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville and 15 minutes from Lake Monticello). Hi, my name is Katina. I have been caring for dogs as long as I can remember. My earliest memories include setting up agility courses for my german shepherd in my backyard. To say I have a passion for dogs is an understatement. I recently quit my job to pursue dog boarding full time and I could not be more excited to spend all day with your pup(s)! We spend lots of time on play, exercise and enrichment. Our yard is set up similar to a dog park meaning we have two separate fenced areas for dogs comfort. We have one small fenced area (4ft fence) to accommodate small, elderly, timid and handicapped pups as well as a large dog park sized fenced area to accommodate more playful mid sized pups (6ft fence). We also have a whole home generator for added peace of mind. When the weather is nice we like to spend a lot of time outdoors Health and safety is our top priority. We have a zero tolerance policy for aggression. If your dog shows signs of aggression during their stay they will be quarantined for the remainder of the stay and not accepted back. In order to board with us your dog must be friendly with EVERYONE this includes children (even though none are present in the home, they do come and visit), the elderly, cats and other dogs. Please provide proof of rabies vaccination (I need a copy of the in date certificate that is signed by your veterinarian). Please ensure your dog(s) are free from fleas ticks and intestinal parasites. Our storage space is limited so please only bring food (put food in ziplock bag and write pets name on the bag) , medications/supplements, and a leash. We will provide toys, treats, bowls (we have a variety of sizes both regular and slow feeder), crates if your dog needs one and plush bedding. Please ALWAYS pack extra food. We will not be able to fulfill requests to withhold water from your dog, so if this is something you require please choose another sitter. Please provide an emergency contact who is willing to pickup your dog(s) in case of emergency. Drop-offs/Pick-ups are between 8A-8P by appointment only. Please keep pickup/drop off timeframes to a 30 minute window. Please communicate if you will be more than 15 minutes early or late for your scheduled pickup or drop off time as we may have other obligations and may not be available if you show up early or late. About: Hi! I have been around dogs in some capacity since I was young - 20+ years ago now, I was blessed to get Tank, a rambuctious and sweet Pomeranian. Since then, I now have two pomeranians (one mix pomsky) and have sat on Rover since 2015. I absolutely love all animals, especially doggies. We look forward to inviting your family member (pet) to join our festivities during a holiday or just a weekend away. Things your dog will enjoy, playing with two other pups, weekend dog park trips or hikes. My family members (dog), Apollo & Phoenix are friendly and has so much fun with most other dogs. Phoenix does well with small and medium size dogs. We have 4 crates, 2 dog parks, plenty of extra harnesses, and leashes just in case, and a dog washing station if your pup needs a bath while your away. I’m home for summers from college (Go Dukes) and I’ve always loved animals, so pet-sitting is my only job over this time! I’m available all days throughout the week! About: I’m an experienced pet sitter willing to care for your pets when you’re unable to. Mature and patient, I am an adult who is reliable and provides attention to detail when caring for your pet. I have lived in Gordonsville for 40+ years and had cats and dogs throughout this time. Prior to providing boarding or pet/house sitting service, I will meet with you and your pet to understand your needs and ensure a good fit for all. For day and overnight care, I will provide meticulous notes and/or text messages about feeding, potty breaks, etc. I have experience administering medicine as well as pet/house sitting for multiple pets (up to 20) at the same time. An additional $5 will be added for each drop in visit and walking service, if more than 10 miles from my home. I work from home and have a family of four so someone is almost always home. I try to keep the same routine for your pet as they experience at home.
