About: I've never not had animals in my life! I spent my early years on a working farm and have always had a way with animals. Dogs love me (cats, too!) and I them ❤️ I have many years of experience in the veterinary field and know what to do in emergencies. I am currently working part time and my schedule is flexible. I do work away from home for 5-8 hours a day, split shift. I have dogs amd cats but can keep them separate, if necessary. My dogs are dog friendly, although my beagle mix is very bossy (typical!) Dogs will be in the house with my dogs, but they can be separated, if needed. I can crate, if the parents supply the crate. Dogs will be leash walked in the wide front yard but we can also go across the street to the dog park, too!
About: As a child, I had a small dog named Nike! She was the cutest little Shih Tzu. Having her at a young age taught me responsibility first and foremost, but it also taught me how to appreciate and be patient with animals. “I was extremely satisfied with the care Bentley received while with Amanda and her family. Her fur babies were very welcoming to Bentley and I felt he was happy with his new friends. To my surprise, they went on a “field trip” where they were allowed to run off leash and smell and play in a very large confined space . I worried he would not want to leave with me and leave his friends behind. I highly recommend Amanda and will definitely use her in the future!!”

“My dogs are family to me, so I'm always nervous leaving them somewhere new. No worries needed though, Stacey was great! We had a meet and greet to ensure our dogs got along, and I was able to meet her at her home in advance to see where my dogs would be staying. She asked thoughtful questions about my dogs' needs and made sure I had peace of mind while I was on my trip. She has a fully fenced in yard which was great for my younger, high energy dog to run laps around the house and get her energy out. My dogs have a somewhat significant age range - one is 1.5 years old and the other is 8.5, and she was able to cater to both of their activity levels to make sure they had a fulfilling experience. We will definitely work with Stacey again the next time we need dog care!”

About: I have always taken care of other family’s animals and I am very passionate about giving your furry friend a safe, loving and comfortable environment! I currently work for VCU as a certified medical assistant full time. I am working Monday through Friday from 8-4:30. I am very active and open to taking long walks after work or anytime on weekends. My home is safe for every animal. I have one cat who is just one year old and loves being around other cats and dogs. My cat is up to date on all vaccines and is only indoor. I am extremely respectful of others spaces and will make it my goal to make sure your cat/dog is safe and loved while in my care. I hope to give your animal a very loving and attentive environment.
