“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”

They cleverly found ways to get him to take his medication when he was being fussy with his usual turkey wraps. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years. Overseas during covid that was my main job and I had over 25 clients. I can help with medications given, dog walks, dog check in or do in home boarding. I do live a short walk from a park, so can also do playtime and walks at the park as well! I am available for drop ins visits, long or short walks or boarding in my home. If you are Active Duty, going TDY, etc. Or just a fur parent with no help, please let me know ahead of time so I can help you the best I can! I have a fenced in back yard with a lot of space. I have 3 senior dogs that love other dogs, but I also have plenty of space to keep dogs separated if needed. I also live walking distance from my local park. Smoke free home.

She got to do the doggy day care for a day to see how she will do. She did fine. She sat with Shannon in her office (I received a picture), she got along with her dogs. About: I have one small 3 legged rescue and just adopted another rescue September 2025 who is recovering from being hit by a car. Both are chihuahua s Prior to moving to Virginia I fostered both cats and dogs. I was known as a foster failure since I adopted many of my fosters and at one time I had 8 dogs. My weekday schedule is flexible and based around my bookings so your fur babies are always able to be my first priority ❤️ i'm also available through the weekends and holidays I have a room in my home solely dedicated to the many, many paws i have in and out of my house 🥰🐾 And although they are more than welcome in any other part of the house as well, This room is great in the event that i have multiple bookings at a time, for any of your furbabies who may want a cozy place to escape from any of the more rambunctious dogs in the house. I also have cubbies to keep their belongings accessible but separated, so feel free to pack their favorite beds, treats, toys and any harnesses/leashes you'd like me to use for potential outings. About: Hi! I've been operating on Rover for about 5 years now! I've had dogs for as long as I can remember and love being around them. I have experience with all sizes of dogs from Papillons to German Shepards. I am accepting of all breeds, sizes and ages. I've had several dogs with allergies and other health issues, so I am experienced in giving medications, applying any topicals, and noticing any developing symptoms. I also have lots of experience with cats and even have one of my own with medical issues, so I would love to do drop ins for your feline friends! I am currently a student at Eastern Virginia Medical School and am in my last year so my schedule can be somewhat variable. However for the next few months I will be available for mid-day walks/cat visits! I have a 7 year old Pit Bull Terrier that absolutely loves all other animals and can adjust his play style according to other dogs sizes. I also have a small fenced in outdoor patio where your dogs can relax outside with some sun in between walks. I live alone so there won't be too much stimulation from others, and there's plenty of space for your pup to take some time to their selves if needed.

About: Hi, I’m Cheyenne, and I hope to be your beloved pets new caregiver. My goal is to give you the peace of mind that I as a pet parent would want while away. I have a seven-year-old German Shepherd, who I have been with through each stage of his life. This has allowed me to gain the experience to care for puppies, troublesome teenage dogs, and senior dogs as well. I have volunteered as a dog walker at my local humane societies since 2018 helping to further my experience with dogs of all personality types. You can expect clear communication, timely updates, and plenty of photos so that there is no worry in your mind while you are away from your pet. I am willing to be flexible with a schedule that works for you and your pet. I am an early riser so if you need a morning drop in or a walk, I would be happy to provide you that service. Given it is summertime I am also available for evening walks once the heat of the day has cooled down. At the time I currently do not offer in-home pet services, but will happily come by your residence to care for your pet. I strive to create a sense of normalcy for your pet while you are away whether that be to cuddle them on the couch or play fetch in the backyard.

About: I am a full time dog owner and I have space and love to give to your fur baby also! Walking, boarding, playing, feeding, medication I currently only work 4 days a week. I have extra time and care to spend with your pet as needed. I make sure my schedule is available for my own pup and will do that for yours as well. My husky is so excited to have guests to play with her! I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of outside time available. I can easily provide a crate if helpful.

“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”

They cleverly found ways to get him to take his medication when he was being fussy with his usual turkey wraps. About: I have taken care of dogs for over 10 years. Overseas during covid that was my main job and I had over 25 clients. I can help with medications given, dog walks, dog check in or do in home boarding. I do live a short walk from a park, so can also do playtime and walks at the park as well! I am available for drop ins visits, long or short walks or boarding in my home. If you are Active Duty, going TDY, etc. Or just a fur parent with no help, please let me know ahead of time so I can help you the best I can! I have a fenced in back yard with a lot of space. I have 3 senior dogs that love other dogs, but I also have plenty of space to keep dogs separated if needed. I also live walking distance from my local park. Smoke free home.

She got to do the doggy day care for a day to see how she will do. She did fine. She sat with Shannon in her office (I received a picture), she got along with her dogs.
