About: I’ve had cats my entire life and am very comfortable caring for them at every stage. I have experience pet sitting cats independently, including maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and administering medication when needed. I came back to a happy and healthy dog and will for sure ask for her help again during the next trips, and I highly recommend her to take care of your pups!”

“As any viewer of Caroline W.'s reviews will see, I'm truly pleased to report she is as fantastic as they read. I could write paragraphs, but I'll highlight what really underscores her excellence. 1. Diligent and Prompt -- Caroline had reached out to me prior to our meet-and-greet and the final key pick-up and drop-offs to check-in and confirm times : this was prior to me doing so and reaching out to her. I had even expressed how this was really a pleasant surprise, and that it spoke volumes of her attention to detail; conversely, her promptness made *me feel like I was just the opposite and not paying close attention! That hasn't happened often in past experiences with many services, so Caroline really made sure we were aligned with appointments for key checkpoints in our set-up and return processes. In addition to her diligence, her promptness was actually mind-boggling. My wife and I were away on vacation, and it was no less than perfect clockwork where I'd see her check-ins literally *on the dot* for the times in the mornings and late afternoons for her visits, dead on the hour: we're not talking 2, 3, 4 minutes late, but perfection nearly every single time, with maybe one starting a *minute after the agreed time? It's ridiculous I'm even writing that last point, but to show how rigorous her punctuality is, it bears mention that Caroline was *this precise to showing up on time, every time, and 100% of the time gave her full allotted visit, with some an extra couple of minutes. Incredibly impressive. 2. Wonderful interactions with our cat -- we were able to see through our home's Ring system Caroline greeting our cat for every visit, especially as the days of our vacation wore on. The fact that Caroline would greet our cat with a clear and welcoming tone and message fit precisely how my wife and I interact with her (our cat), and just hearing the conversations between Caroline and our cat was very comforting: no doubt this "fitting into our patterns" helped with our cat's loneliness and coping with our absence, and that included spending focused time giving her simple company. Fantastic job! And lastly, 3. Being amenable to modifications and a couple of simple related tasks: Caroline was able to care for our "cat grass" and keep it thriving while we were gone, lavishing feedings to our cat when desired (most every visit); she also was able to follow our instructions by text message on how to use our "treat puzzle", since our cat was insistent on "playing it", and I know doing this gave a lot of comfort (and more treats) to our cat, and made my wife and I feel truly glad that Caroline was able to add this adjustment and make our cat feel like things were still as normal as they could be in our absence. With that, I give Caroline my highest recommendation, and can't express enough the value in having her as a drop-in sitter for our cat.”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all kinds since I was 10 years old, including dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals. I will provide the best care for your fur babies while keeping their same routine. Whether that means plenty of exercise or just cuddling on the couch, I will make sure your loved ones are taken care of. I am very responsive and communicative, and will always keep you updated throughout their day to give you peace of mind. Having two fur babies myself, I know how daunting it can be leaving them. My goal is to give your pet the same level of care and affection they are used to at home. I am a registered nurse and currently working part time, therefore I have free time during the work week. I am available throughout the week during regular work hours. I will care for your pet like one of my own, and make sure they are comfortable and at ease while you are away. I will make sure their routine and schedule will stay the same for continuity. I also prioritize giving frequent updates so you always have peace of mind.
“Kristin has done a great job with our pup! We're doing everything we can to make sure he's on the right track for success! She is on time, very professional, and our pup likes her a lot! I would recommend her to watch your doggies no problem!”

“We were able to relax while we were on vacation, knowing Alexandra was checking in on our “kids” each day. She was perfect and so sweet! They love her maybe more than us now ?”
“My 4 kitties and house were well taken care of. Plus Rebecca alerted us to an unexpected basement leak. With her prompt notice, action to clean-up the water and coordination with a neighbor, we were spared a mess. Septic tanks with optional filters and water filtration systems do cause problems when you least expect it! I can't say enough how thankful we are to Rebecca.”

About: I have a deep passion for animals and a keen eye for understanding their non-verbal cues. By focusing on the small details and reading their body language, I ensure your pet feels comfortable, secure, and stress-free. Im a stay at home mom. I take my aon to school at 7:20, i would be available directly after that until 1:30 or 2 depending on where you live. Then Im available from 3-7. Every morning I feel my dogs and then walk them around our property. Then, I feed the kitty who is usually meowing loudly at me. Then, I scoop her box. She likes it if I scoop her box several times a day. The dogs are fed twice a day, and walked several times. My Dad or I will walk our younger dog Molly around the neighborhood or on the Appalachian trail. Dinner for the dogs is at 7pm and "last pee" is before bedtime (usually 10).
“Erin took great care of my dog Rosie! Erin has watched my dog at her home and done a check in at my house. Both visits went perfectly. Rosie gets super excited when she sees Erin and I love the photos she sends. I would highly recommend Erin!”

“Maki is so kind, she agreed to watch Gin on late notice. Gin definitely had fun and Maki’s! Maki was great at communicating and sending pics of Gin throughout the day! Definitely recommend!”

“My dog is very shy and has separation anxiety but Sarah made her feel right at home. I could see from the pictures and videos just how great of a time she was having. I’ll definitely be brining her back!”

What Your Dog Can Expect: - Free access to a fully fenced yard for playtime. - Couch privileges and plenty of indoor snuggles. - A daily rhythm of breakfast, play, naps, dinner, and evening exercise. - Lots of dog beds to choose from so everyone always has a comfy space - Walks and leisurely outings if your pup enjoys them. About: I grew up with 2 Labrador retrievers, who I grew a special bond with where I grew to love taking care of dogs! I now have a 3 year old German Shepherd pure bred, who I raised and helped to train. I just adopted a Hound, who is a 2 year old rescue. I love walking my dogs everyday, and also driving them to parks as well. I feed my dogs everyday, and have always been known to be taking care of dogs my whole life. I am 21 years old, and a student at East Carolina University. I come home very often, especially during breaks, and live here all summer! My pets are apart of my everyday life, and I am willing to take care and spend valuable time with pets whenever needed and necessary for you! I am willing to do just about anything with your pets, such as spending time playing with them, walking them, going to a park, feeding them, making sure they go to bed safe, whatever fits you and your pets needs!
“Barbara was polite, thoughtful, and kind. She texted to let us know how he was doing about halfway through the appointment, and she shared a cute picture. I would definitely book with her again and certainly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m a work-from-home mom of three amazing boys, and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. I’ve owned pets my entire life and have also fostered many dogs over the years, so my boys have grown up learning how to properly handle, respect, and love animals. We recently lost our sweet dog last year and are taking a little break from owning one, but our home feels happiest with paws around. Dog sitting allows us to share that love while giving your pup the attention and care they deserve. Because I work from home full time, your dog will rarely be alone and will get plenty of supervision, affection, and companionship throughout the day. We have a large single-family home with lots of space to relax. There’s a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, as well as a spacious front yard — but please know your dog will never be outside unsupervised. In our home, dogs are family. They’re welcome on the couch and even in the bed for snuggles at night if that’s what they’re used to. My boys love giving extra attention, playtime, and belly rubs — always guided by what your dog is comfortable with. Our family truly adores and respects animals, and we will care for your dog as if they were our own — with patience, structure, affection, and lots of love. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home full time. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and regular potty breaks as often as needed. Your dog won’t be left alone for long stretches. We go on at least one walk every day, and I’m happy to adjust the length or pace depending on your dog’s age and energy level. In addition to walks, I incorporate outdoor time, playtime, and plenty of affection into the day. Because I’m already on a steady home schedule, it’s easy for me to maintain feeding times, medication schedules, and any specific routines your dog is used to. When pets stay in my home, they become part of our daily routine and are treated like family. Because I work from home full time, I’m able to provide constant supervision, regular potty breaks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Dogs have access to our large fenced backyard (always supervised) and enjoy at least one daily walk, along with playtime and snuggles. They’re welcome on the couch and even in bed if that’s what they’re used to. I stick closely to each dog’s normal feeding schedule, exercise routine, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable and secure. My goal is always the same: to provide safe, loving, reliable care so both you and your pet feel completely at ease.

About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). Animals and their personalities are a source of endless interest for me. “If having a soul means being able to feel love and loyalty and gratitude, then animals are better off than a lot of humans.” ~James Herriot I have a flexible work schedule at home and welcome an excuse to enjoy fresh air and exercise together with your pet. I'm available for daycare and dog-walking every day except for Sunday mornings. Your dog can stay indoor in my apartment or outdoor in the fenced-in yard, as needed. I live in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for walking. If additional space is needed for running and walking in the open countryside, I am also happy to take your dog on a "field trip" to my family's little farm.
“Absolutely the best, and works with my dysfunctional schedule… my dog comes home happy and tired from playing all day. I couldn’t work comfortably without her. 1000/10 recommend doggy day care with her!”

“Abby and her husband were great hosts! Awesome communication and everything was made easy and smooth for a last minute request. Their dogs Maple Syrup and Moose were such good puppy hosts and played well with our dog. We received plentiful videos and pictures of the fun!”

About: Dog care certified in Argentina, as an animal lover I want to pursue career caring for them. Since young, I used to spend a lot of time in dog walks and parks with them. I believe now, I can provide them the perfect environment of a fenced backyard of 10.000 sqf. I love to exercise and pamper pups and we're easy to reach, even for a last-minute need. With some dog training experience and a lot of love for dogs, I look forward to taking care of your family member like one of our own. Depending on your pup's needs, I will take long playtime or jogs with your dog. If your furry family member just needs companionship and loving attention, I am happy to provide that kind of care, too. Photos of your dog will be shared with you throughout their visit. I love to send lots of pictures of my guests. My house is generally a cage-free environment, but will use your crates if that is what your pup is used to at home. I have a couple of gates to use as necessary to separate dogs during meals and to give them a large, safe play area in our home.

“Grace has been wonderful! On time, sent pictures everyday, she was professional and understands animals. She asked questions on our initial meeting that I forgot to address. My dog loved her. I would highly recommend her.”

About: I started taking care of neighbors' and friends' dogs, cats, fish, hamsters and birds when I was 14 years old. I love animals and wildlife of all kinds. I have been a cat and dog mom for 28 years and have had 2 leash and dog-reactive dogs (strong, 60 pound+ mutt and pit bull) so I am experienced in dealing with these situations. I have strong situational awareness with my head on a swivel when walking dogs. My senior kitty required specialized medical care at the end of her life with daily prescription medication and subcutaneous fluids. I have volunteered as a dog walker and cat snuggler at Friends of Homeless Animals rescue. I have been a social worker for 30 years and am nearing retirement from full-time employment. I would love to use my love of animals to continue working as a pet-sitter and dog walker. I am very organized, detail-oriented and will care for your pet as I care for my own. I would love to meet you and your pets to see how I can be of service. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday but am retiring at the end of September. My weekends are currently free. I have some flexibility in my weekday schedule so I may be available on a case-by-case basis for weekday dog walks that are in western Loudoun County and within a 10 minute drive of my home. I will care for your pet in your home so that they will be the most comfortable. I am available for overnight stays to keep your pet company and to provide close supervision, lots of TLC, food, water, potty breaks and anything else you may need. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I am very detail-oriented, responsible and dependable. As a bit of an overprotective dog mom, I have needed to entrust my dog's care to a pet sitter. My dog is my world. So I know just how valuable trust, dependability and attention to detail are. What matters to you matters to me. I will follow your instructions down to the smallest detail. I will be diligent in communicating with you, sending regular updates and photos of your pet so that you know they are safe and happy in my care.

About: My family has raised goats and chickens since I was around 10, and have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! I've grown up around animals my whole life and I am accustomed to caring for goats, chickens, dogs, and cats! I have a fenced in yard for dogs as well as plenty of space to take them for walks! As well, I have litter boxes/safety measures set up for my 4 cats. I have 8 goats and 13 chickens so I'm used to making sure the outdoor animals are safe from predators and locked safely into their houses at night.

About: Hi! I am a recent college graduate who’s moved back to the area. I have shelter volunteer experience and have had several positive experiences on this app doing in-house and overnight dogsitting. I got my first dog eight years ago in high school and he’s the light of my life! I love hanging out with all types of dogs regardless of breed or energy level. I don't mind taking care of dogs who are timid or defensive- I know how to keep boundaries with more nervous animals. Hablo español e inglés :) I am very flexible through august of this summer as I seek a new teaching job for the school year :-) I am not currently working so I can drive anywhere in town any day of the week. When I come to the house, I always make sure waters are full before I leave and gates are closed/secured. I'm fairly athletic, so I'm cool with taking long walks and being active with them in the yard- I'll match the energy level of your pet.

About: I have grown up around animals my entire life, always living in a home with three or more dogs and at least two cats. At one point, my family also bred Great Danes, which gave me experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and needs. Because of this background, I am very compassionate toward animals and am eager to become more involved in working with them. Im looking to save money for college so as much work as possible is helpful! I will be communicative and let you know if it fits my schedule! at home, I have a large front yard as well as a fenced in back yard. I have 3 dogs however I would more than likely keep your pet away from my animals just to be safe and respectful. I will be able to go on long walks with your animals and give them a great experience!

“The BEST dog sitter ever!! My pup is so happy and we love her updates with pictures daily. It sincerely makes you feel so comfortable with the care she gives your animals. Thank you so much.”

“Elisa and her family were fantastic! They took great care of our Yorkie and sent us updates with pictures every day, which really put our minds at ease. I could tell that she was loved and pampered. We will definitely be booking them again. Thanks again.”

“Anahita did a great job with my two dogs. The older dog gets anxious and my younger dog is a 1yearbold with lots of energy. Anahita’s calm manner worked wonderfully with both. I highly recommend her … she’s great!”

“Kristen was great with my senior dog. He has incontinence issues and I wasn't sure I would be able to find any where that was able to care for him. Kristen was so easy going and rolled with all my boy's issues. So glad to have found her and plan to continue using her kennel in the future!”
“Super friendly couple that took great care of our Dicey, sending us updates and pictures to brighten our day while traveling. I highly recommend them for your pet sitting needs.”

“We have a Husky (Kalea) and she gets separation anxiety so we needed to find a home where she wasn’t crated. Kelly and her family are amazing with her and she became part of their family. Kelly sent me updates daily with photos and we could tell that Kalea was relaxed and having fun. Kelly has a big yard and a sweet little dog PJ that got along very well with Kalea. The whole experience was perfect and we were able to go away knowing Kalea was happy. Thank you Kelly!”

“Alexsys has watched my dogs 3 times now and is the best dog sitter. My dogs love going over there and I love all the updates and pictures I get from her. As long as she is dog sitting and willing I will always use her!”

“Lillie and Dawson had a great time with Joel and Janelle. We know our babies and happy, safe and very well taken care of. We have already booked again! 🐾❤️”

“5 stars all the way specially for caring, timely communication, providing updates, and friendly environment. My puppy dog spent 5 nights with family and during days & nights I received pictures and updates on how he felt. It was so lovely to see how much they care about my dog and welcome him to their house. I will definitely try again and highly recommend this Lovely family!!!”

“Maki and Joel and their family took great care of Ragnar. They treated him as part of the family and that really made me feel comfortable. I can’t thank and recommend them enough!”

“We’re so grateful for the love and care our pups received. It meant everything knowing they were not just safe, but truly happy while we were away. The sweetest part was how much our doggies adored her kids you could tell they were having the best time together. We came home to a couple of relaxed, happy dogs, and that says it all. They will be going back forever now!”

“Valerie is a very dedicated and professional dog watcher. Her whole family is involved in taking care of the dogs and cares for them as their own. Her dog Nutella was also a great companion for our dog- she is mellow and I think that helps the dogs adjust to the home. Valerie kept us informed with daily pictures and videos which allowed to enjoy our vacation without worry. We highly recommend Valerie to care for your dogs while away!”
“Phil and Amanda are wonderful and took such great care of our dog… their dog is so sweet and got along great with our pup! They were very accommodating when my husband’s flight was delayed and had to pick up our dog late. A wonderful family!”

“We love having Susanna take care of Ruby! She’s kind, prompt, and makes sure our pup is taken care of when we need a drop in or have to spend a night away. Thank you Susanna!”
