We knew from the meet and greet that Kelly was a great fit. She has a huge fenced in yard that must of felt like a dream for our puppy. She also provided daily update photos, and it looked like our dog was having the best time in each one. Kelly accommodated our late pick up, even when we weren’t sure if we’d get there in time due to flight delays. About: Hi all! I am interested in doing some petsitting to find some dog friends for my pup. I am not a full-time dog sitter, however, I'd like to find some more dogs that my dog will play with & hopefully build some puppy friendships. I live in Leesburg and WFH. I work from home & my dog is cage free all day. We usually do a longer walk in the mornings (between 6-7am) and play outside when it's cooler, then a short walk around lunch time, and another walk around sunset. Bedtime is around 9:30 in our house. Ideally I'd like to find other low-medium energy dogs that play well with my dog and can be trusted to free roam/play around my townhouse while I work. We go out for lunch time play around the neighborhood so good leash manners is a must.

About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). About: My family has raised goats and chickens since I was around 10, and have had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! I've grown up around animals my whole life and I am accustomed to caring for goats, chickens, dogs, and cats! I'm currently home in Northern Virginia from college for the summer, so I have plenty of time to play with and care for all of your animals!! I have a fenced in yard for dogs as well as plenty of space to take them for walks! As well, I have litter boxes/safety measures set up for my 4 cats. I have 8 goats and 13 chickens so I'm used to making sure the outdoor animals are safe from predators and locked safely into their houses at night.

About: Have only had 9 months total of my life without a dog or a pack of them by my side. Your fur baby will be fostered as one of my own; their walk, run, or potty break is all about them! With guidance from you, we will move at their pace. If they want to go for a run... then we run! If they prefer to walk tree to tree and smell every flower, that's fine too! I am available early mornings and mid-days during the week. I also have availability nightly to check on the pups and make sure they're ready for bed. I look forward to meeting the needs of your family, if it be walking or running the dogs, or making sure they are comfortable in your home, just let me know. I am fortunate enough to have a remote role, so my schedule is usually set to my own dog's needs. I am by no means a gym rat or a marathon runner. Yet that doesn't stop me from getting in usually 2-6 miles a day, both walking and running. While my dog is crate trained, it would be great if yours is as well, for those few errands that may take me away for up to 4 hours at a time (a busy week would be 3 half days in the office)

About: I’ve been a dog owner and caregiver for 40 years, since I was just 6 years old. Over the years, I’ve owned more than 10 dogs and have cared for many, many more. I’ve had experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and attention. I also have extensive experience caring for dogs with special needs and medical conditions, including administering medications and following specific care routines. Since I work from home, I have the flexibility to provide frequent drop-ins and give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m also very respectful of my clients’ homes and treat them with the same care and consideration I would my own. I’ll keep things clean and tidy, provide regular updates and photos, and make sure you have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have three Portuguese Water Dogs. I train and handle them in multiple dog sports such as agility and dock diving. I am semi retired after selling my business a year ago. Not one to sit still for too long, I think pet caregiving is a great avenue to channel my energy. My schedule is very flexible so I can work this in. I am very safety conscious. At my home we have a fully fenced yard. When out walking, I am always aware of surroundings and what might trigger a pet. I aim to be proactive and in control at all times
About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and I honestly cannot imagine a home without paws in it. “Kelly is a WONDERFUL sitter!! This is the first time we’ve left our pup while we were on vacation for a few days, so we were definitely nervous puppy parents. We knew from the meet and greet that Kelly was a great fit. She has a huge fenced in yard that must of felt like a dream for our puppy. She also provided daily update photos, and it looked like our dog was having the best time in each one. Kelly accommodated our late pick up, even when we weren’t sure if we’d get there in time due to flight delays. Finally, somehow, our puppy returned to us way less stinky than when we left her :) I’d gladly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a sitter!!”
